I love how it's still not that noisy inside even though he's driving at 212 km/h on the Autobahn.

The 6 cylinder Espace uses the same engine as the Nissan 350Z

I remember these cars. They still have a funky futuristic interior till this day. Very practical my dad used to share one of these with our neighbor. The neighbour owned it but he often used it to take us on trips.
I like this Espace. Sometimes I have driven one like this and other with the 2 2 dci engine. The petrol engine is way better than the diesel except in consum. Very good test, your videos are always so funny and interesting...congrats!!!

I have one of these. Great car, I took 3 seats out to save weight and it now acts like a small van inside. The only drawback I can find is that the gears are too low, I can cruise at 28mph in 6th gear on the flat with ease. At 70mph you could save a lot of fuel by having better gear ratios.
I've also modded mine a lot!
In TDI world its common to change 5th gear for longer ratio....maybe in renault world that is not common....
Yep, they are quite short. I am just below 3k RPM at 130 kph (2.0 dCi)

there's such a comforting vibe with renault family cars. I've had a 1.9L scenic and it came with so many problems, but man did it feel good driving this car.

Amazing. Spotted this model a week ago on a parking lot, really liked it's exterior and normal non-sliding back doors. Now I know that it may come with the manual and I've seen the interior. I like it. Seems like a good family car for me.
I'm going buy one is it a good car?? The one i going to buy has 192.589 km and we test drove is and its so comfy en it drive like you have a hot knife and cut it in butter. But i have seen on the internet that the 2.0 have sometimes problemes do you also have problems with it?

@@janlul9131 hmm. My dad has Espace 2.0T from 2008, has no problems. Really zero!! Drives amazing, fuel is expensive, but i rate it 8,5/10 i think
@@dutchkroket599 yes fuel is expensive but we are only going to take it to go on vacation to morocco we are going trough Belgique, France and Spain where it is very hot but we wil see how it wil make :))

What a classic
Some people abuse their cars like this and then they ask themselves 'why does my car break down?'.
In reality these 2 liter turbo engines are really good. If you drive them normally, so not like in this video, they will last forever.
Also Renault really improved the quality of their cars after 2005.

Yes it is poor. But you say Renault improved their quality after 2005. I m going buy a 2.0 t out 2006 June. I see a lot of reviews that the Renault Espace are very bad cars. My got maintenance book and is good maintained by Renault. I really like the car but the reviews on it make me doubt a little. It has 192.486 km and it got a new timing belt but i dont know i'm doubing. The price of it is €2950,-
@@janlul9131 Just buy it. For 2950 and well maintained you can't go wrong. And every car has it's weak points after 16 years. German cars are not better than Renaults. Sometimes even far more worse.
@@anfahrt I had Seat Leon Volkswagen group never again! They look cool but no quality no comfort... I bought recently a Grand Espace 2.0T in automatic version for a reason ;) fantastic car!! I'm service my car in MERCEDES garage .. becaese I'm working there :) for the FUTURE I will change program to get more BHP Already instaled K&N sport air filter with live warranty...

@@staszeksowikowski9039 Yes, 2 speeds plus variable interval/variable rain sensitivity. Never had any issues with it. It‘s to be expected that newer cars have more of everything electronic of course.

Я пробовал на своих эспейсах так же разгоняться на немецких автобанах, все что я смог Это 187, после этого пропадал ноль в руле и приходилось немножко подруливать, что на такой скорости страшно и я на этом заканчивал. Комфортно на нем ехать 160 дальше уходит "0" из руля.
У меня эспейс таким мотором я его розгонял до 220 ,все рулится четко.

If you hold the rpm around 2500 and let the clutch go, you have almost no wheelspin and you can take some speed in first gear. Now your whole 1st gear was wheelspin 😅
