I love the fact that You guys make it look like stuff is actually being built with the construction equipment rather than just putting stuff down randomly
If you put so much effort in a lego city why are you underrated these builds are actually pretty cool I love the buildings and the vehicles, all put together they are really amazing!
You have done so well, with full-time jobs and making one of the best Lego cities in the world. I really admire your dedication to Lego and being creative, well done!
If only you had the place, the time, the money of Bricksie. Your city will be incredible ! It hurt me to see him use Lego set and building an unrealistic city. Maybe in the future you will be able to build a massive city without being restricted by the size and have to make choice. Keep going you’re doing great ! And your sets are all amazing !
I WISH we had a warehouse like that/ got sponsored by LEGO… would make life a lot easier haha. But not being sponsored also has benefits as we can say what we want during reviews and we don’t have to use official LEGO builds in the city
@@VilhoKaaapangelwa i’m not agree at all. Brick craft have an amazing city ! The best on RUclips to my opinion. And he he’s a talented builder with great building skills where Bricksie use almost only sets and make a childish and unrealistic city. Keep in mind this is only my opinion .
@@appolinetheclouds9303 Hi Appolinetheclouds, I agree that Brickcrafts has an absolutely fantastic Lego city and that he is one of the best Lego city RUclipsrs, but I have a soft spot for Jordan and his wife José of Bricksie and their twins -- I love Jordan's passion for Lego, and his commentary on what he's doing. His visits to Lego stores and his thoughts on PAB-wall pieces always interest me, it's a privilege to be able to observe their journey. These days many Lego RUclipsrs (the ones I want to watch) have become quieter, but Bricksie uploads videos very regularly. I've discovered another excellent German Lego city RUclips channel, Brick City (also in German as Stadt Baustein), by Matthias Goller (Matze). His Lego city is smaller but very exciting. He's a very innovative builder and loves curves and multilevel structuring in his Lego city.
New city is coming along great The train and monorail going through the mountain is great I think with trees on one side, and bushes on the mountain with some small trees here and there would work well A big ocean around the city will be cool, the island style is a great idea It would be cool if you would build a new building and let your imagination run wild with it, and it would work well for an island towm
Hey guys, it would be really cool if you did a container ship in mini fix scale and it would also be cool if you could do a gas carrier, oil tanker, car, carrier, book carrier just every single ship it would be really cool
Oh yeah! Next plan is a city of yours without the pression of a real city inspiration but with pleasure of free pure cretation. Can't wait to see more. Nature elements will put much colour and variety on your builds! Keep doing at your own pace, work and family are important too. You're a great builder so it will be gorgeous. ❤
like I said last video everything is looking great. huge respect to you for sorting pieces to that level. I have personally tried sorting all my pieces, but I stopped after a while because it got too repetitive annoying and boring so idk how you did that lol. the mountain with the train going around it was a great idea and I know it will turn out amazing. I think the transition from dense city to nature will look amazing especially when the cities all lit up. The buildings, in my opinion, always look better at mid height. you can pack a bunch of detail on the buildings, and you can see each building easily. I really can't wat to see the whole city. hopefully your fingers aren't dead from placing that many 2x4 green bricks lol. keep it up as always Reply
Haha it can be very tedious! Luckily Ms AFOL TV helps sort and is very good at it, helps save time! And yes, so many dinged up fingers right now from breaking down the old city, building furniture, and the mountain… just part of the process haha
Depends how large you make it! Recommend buying bulk through single sellers (German sellers usually have great prices) or save a ton by ordering WeBrick
I loved the LA/SoCal build, however I understand that the price was getting probably as high as the regular living expenses there 😅. Can’t wait to see what this new layout will have since it will give you more creative freedom. Keep up the good work 👌
Interesting channel! I'm a middle age Lego enthusiast and also a Minecraft nerd. One thing I noticed about your mountain is that it could use some color gradients (and variation in general). I think there are a lot of cues you could take from modern Minecraft building techniques.
Honestly, you should have stuck it out with LA. Nothing beats a realistic city build, and I feel like it eventually would have come out incredible. And yes, it was expensive, but it is so because it was so unprecedented and would have been a state of the art project. You could have spend another two years building it, slowly but surely, buying parts you could afford, one bundle at a time. Instead you start a new city again. I think I am losing interest, nothing can top rebuilding real life LA. It is my opinion, but the LA project was the pinnacle and should have been followed though, instead of these excuses piling up on why it was such a good idea to restart. Sorry, but I'm not buying it. I hope your new city could top LA, but I really doubt it.
Changed again?!! Sigh. Man, you guys can't stick to one thing for very long, can you? What is the point of starting another since you will scrap it and start another one in a year? Just stick to what you guys are good at which is making mocs and selling them. Btw, I do love the new tables. If you don't mind me asking, where did you get the tables?
I was really looking forward to the LA build, as there were so many build and detail opportunities! Kinda disappointed you went with a fictional city, especially after investing time and energy in your builds and the products designed for that specific location... Disjointed and low key not interested in this design. Just my thoughts though.
Bummed too… it was just way too expensive to continue unfortunately. There were still several skyscrapers remaining and it would have been more than $10k to finish
Be sure to SUBSCRIBE so you can follow along as we add more videos to this new series!!

Great you're doing your job anyway cause i feel influenced to buy the lego excavator cause it looks so good in a lego city, great work man.
The little palm tree using the claw or talon elements looks perfect
Thanks! Pretty easy and sturdy
Some great ideas and you have some real talent for building and design 👍
The mountain looks incredible! Reminds me a lot of Brickcrafts' mountains in his LEGO city!
Yeah
Such a tedious build but happy with it so far!
@@AFOLTVbe careful with the scale, the big train rail breaks the illusion
We aren’t doing a change of scale given the proximity of the hill/mountain to the city, it isn’t setback like other examples out there
Really excited for you both to move forward for this city build and the evolution it will take going forward
The plans sound good! Can't wait for the first City-tour 👌
Us too, thank you!
That beach island vibe plan is amazing. never done before and cant wait to see it.
We thought it’d be cool!
Love the new layout! For the mountain try adding cheese slopes and other shapes to creamy texture. Plates with work too
I have one of those tables and it is the BEST.
Love them!
This hits hard. 😢 I was sooo looking forward to more LA landmarks. 🥹😭 Coming from a resident of the San Gabriel Valley.
We were too, just way too expensive unfortunately. Might still add the capitol records building tho!

More to come!
ooo you should put a "AFOLTV LAND" sign like the holloywood sign on the mountain
😆😆😆

lovely, excited for what is to come in the coming year
Us too!
Liking the idea of this new layout, look forward to all the updates (just like previous 👍🏻) 🙂
Good to hear!
That mountain looks like a mountain of work you put into it. I haven’t seen many people putting monorails through their LEGO mountains
We’re excited to finish it!
For the mountain: Check out Bob Brickman. He has a similar building technique for this. This could be an inspiration. 👍🏻
Looks great so far. 💪🏻
Looking good!
Thanks man!
I hope this on lasts longer 🤞

Looks fun been doing a Micro City Here ♥
Love micro!
I subscribed for the LA city
We will probably still have some LA / SoCal builds. Wish LEGO was cheaper to continue it
you need to cover the background with photo wallpapers. It will look better
looking forwars to this new layout!
Us too!
Do the duplo method for the mountain please it will save u so much money build up with duplo how u want and then cover it in lego please
Oh it’s hollow with support structures below - saves a ton!
where did you get those tables?
it would be cool if the city was connected to the airport with a highway
And/or the monorail!
We may look at doing something like that. Just tough with the path of travel
NGL those buildings are pretty nice (dang lego needs to step of there building designs)
Haha thanks!
You’re welcome, also where on the website do I find the building kit things?
i love how it looks that city but i cant build a mountain or hill its too many pieces my flavor its mods sets or give a personal touch
you should sort your parts more organized
You need to go on Lego masters
Please inklude the pieses in your sets i dont just wanna buy the instruktions and have to buy the Lego bricks
We do - www.custombrickkits.com
anyone know what the tables are called?
Are those real legos for your sets?
i cant build the custom kits since im on a low budget
