You could just make a whole underwater MOC, with a glass table separating the top MOC from the bottom one. This way you would be able to see it from both the top down and the side of the table. Then you could really showcase a sunken vessel, a giant kraken, a giant octopus, a mermaid kingdom, or even a hidden tunnel leading from the harbour to the island.
@@ThisIsMyFullName I saw a few seconds of footage at a convention where someone had done this perfectly. They had at least 30 brick height of underwater scape with special lighting, and somehow had an ocean surface above it that connected to shore. The clip was only a few seconds.
The build of every single one of those houses, Inn and ships could have been their own videos and been interesting to see. Combining them all into one video is frankly insane progress. Great video!
My favourite moc by far! Not only from you, but from EVERYONE EVER!!!! Have you ever thought about doing something Napoleonic Wars inspired with the Imperials, etc?
@@RobertBoston-n4d Yup. Honestly I wish people had the nads to just go with the knockoff bricks that cost cents. But then they can't say "lego" and while true, I don't think the superior fit and finish of official bricks justifies the prices they charge.
Something that I love about your Mocs it’s the fact that put so much effort on detailing, they’re several things that couldn’t be there cause they remain hidden from the outside, like the furniture inside the buildings and the minifigs following a storyline in, the matching staircase upstairs and downstairs for the wine cellar and treasure vault, but it have a matching trap door at the building’s floor, or the folding bed at prision cells. Maybe nobody gonna see those details but you know they’re there, those kind of “unnecessary “things add high value to the model, and are the exact same things I do, it make me so happy knowing are there even of no one can see it.
It's a pretty minor detail overall, but I just really love the fisherman with the line stuck under the 1x2 plate. You guys are very skilled when it comes to making things seem lively, all the small details really add up
Growing up in the 90s getting the pirate ship was a dream of mine. Its nice to see the old pirate Legos still around. This was pirates of the Caribbean before it was a thing.
This is insane. I used to love playing with lego, but this is something of the highest level. I think this deserves milions of views, not only for the result, but also for the fact that this build cost you 30k+. Keep up the good work! Absolutely love it! 🙏🏻
for the fortress i really like how you added a wall inside of it, really makes the design more realistic as in battle if you lose your first defenses you may retreat
I really enjoy the Dutch architecture in some of the structures in the fort. This 17th and 18th century architecture is common in much of the Caribbean.
You could add an extractor fan just above the volcano to direct the flow of the smoke and help avoiding that the entire space gets filled with smoke. The lava and smoke makes me wish for the most popular models in Lego, a fire crew putting out a house fire.
I know this is the final episode, but I definitely think more wave breaks need to be added around the harbor and boat docked at said harbor. Great build as always, I'm glad I was able to watch this with every individual update and then see it all come together.
Suggestion based purely on you referring to it as "The Pirate Bay" - you should have one pirate somewhere on the island who's holding a CD tile or something. Cuz, y'know, piracy.
@@thecoolbird13 FUN FACT - that series of adverts massively backfired and lead to MORE illegal copying of DVD's. The prevailing theory as to why is - it alerted a bunch of people who hadn't considered you could do that to realise you could, and as a result piracy got a lot worse lmao.
I always love how compressed, scale-wise, huge lego mocs are. The Imperial fortress' cannons could absolutely land on the other side of the volcano at the right angle, were this real size. It's so quaint.
Finally, a practical use for my "Lego water" technique. Just use 1x1 trans blue & white round studs. Put them in a container at the bottom of the well, and the well can bring water up to the top. Excellent builds. The Imperials fort is top notch. Some of your best work!
I had the original pirate set when I was a kid. It apparently retailed for $324 in the 90's. Well worth the money then. Very educational and entertaining. I'm sure I spent hundreds of hours playing with it over the course of 5 years or so. Today it's worth over $10,000. The life boat alone is $145 now.
This is a really impressive build, it's so full of life and character! It reminds me of going to Lego World when I was a kid, seeing all the fun lego animatronics and experiencing another world. Really well done! The only small thing I would change, is turn the pirate ship around 180 so it's heading out to sea instead. Right now it looks like it's about to crash into the harbour!
Seriously SOO satisfying to watch these builds!! and this MOC is by far the most impressive one you made! .. You moved such a long way since you started building your LEGO city in the basement apartment! Cheers from Denmark
This is an absolutely phenomenal MOC! I love the unique buildings technics you did to accomplish certain details. The moving minifigure scenes bring a whole other level of detail that is rare to see in LEGO MOC's. Very well done with the way you planned, built and detailed the whole MOC. I really love the water and the ships. It looks so good. Well done!
It was really cool to see the version of the set with all the fog surrounding everything. It simulates the smoke and ash that would blanket everything in its vicinity. Incredible build. Was very fun to see the progression and time lapsed building. This had so much care and work poured into it and it shows.
When the display is ready for visitors you should have a few telescopes nearby so people can check out all the little details from a distance. Would fit the theme too!
Just a small detail, but adding a tap to one of the barrels in the rum chamber would look really nice. This is such an amazing build! I love how much detail you put into the build, thank you for sharing.
Just amazing. In 1992 I had built a huge pirate/ castle themed town that filled up one side of my room. It was only the premade sets, nothing this amazing. This is just so incredible.
Incredible. A beautiful build but also fantastic job of filming, editing and narration. You make us all feel like we are there watching you create this. A hard thing to pull off.
This is such a great video! A scene like is what i always wanted to build as a kid but never got anywhere close to having enough legos to build something so elaborate! It looks absolutely amazing!
The huge scale combined with the level of detail is mind blowing. From over a certain distance away my brain registers it as something that MUST be computer generated, like a level in a Lego video game, because "this cannot be real life".
Wow! That's amazing! Especially the volcano, the effect is just so good. And love how you built a wake showing the ship moving through the water. I just have one tiny issue, and I hesitate to even bring this up because it's such a cool build, but fortresses of this era didn't generally have curvy walls and tall towers, but rather low angular walls and bastions.
Thanks, I’m 35yo, but you bring me in childhood when I first saw the pirate ship set in the market… what you done here is exactly what my dream was looking like.

I don't know if it's doable, but I think it would be cool to cut a hole in the "water" to add a 3D sunken vessel you can peer down into.
This is brilliant
it can be built next to the sailors who got attacked by the kraken so that you can see both a sunken ship and a kraken
