I am absolutely blown away with how much detail actually goes into the city, i love how you try to make it as realistic as possible, every little detail stands out in a good way, love the content.
Your city is the first one I've seen with black figs! Not only is your city cool and sexy, it's also racially integrated! Kudos!!!! Keep up the good work!
One of the best videos. This type of video is awesome. There's an incredible amount of detail, and the right amount to make it realistic. I wish my city would look like this
This is absolutely amazing . Please give us more content like this. Detailed integration of the buildings with the minifigs really sets this city apart from other similar videos. Great work, guys.
This is my favorite Lego city on youtube, just so creative and FAR beyond average, which I think is solely based on the incredible attention to detail. The standard modulars are awesome, but AFOL TV steps outside that box and does something very different.
Loved this and totally agree with the less is more with vehicles on the roads and people on the streets and beach. I’m literally at the start of designing/building my Lego city, so I’m planning on placing vehicles and figures around the areas I’m developing so it gives it some life, construction workers and vehicles etc. I’m then going to take pics of this and send to a WhatsApp group I have with my nephew and his dad and grandad, to inspire my nephew👍🏻👍🏻
This is I think the first video that I've seen from you guys and I am absolutely blown away! I love the detailing and every little thought that went into placing your figs and making your scenes! (I agree with Mrs. AFOL TV, placing minifigs is the best part!) Also L O V E the Ole Christiansen call out on the Federal Building!
Awesome city I love all the details you have and I think your city is the most detailed city I've ever seen I like how the road slowly curves up up the bridge and all of your detail on the building great city!
Nice city.our city( 8 yr old son and I) is close to the same size but no where as detailed. We just started mils .so due to it being about the same makes it more relatable. Again very nice city !!!!!
I really like videos that show the builds and scenes in detail. I also like the details you've added to your city, including the beach area and parks. Thank you for sharing 😀.
hey how are ya long time no see sorry I couldn't watch your vids cause I wasn't at home school homeworks projects and more so now I'm ready to see you new lego city and I love the road and the vehicles looks beautiful I really appreciate it🐢
Hi guys, Thanks! We loved seeing this. Its always nice to see some more detailed sceneries. That’s what we do and post in our city too. You can really create little stories. And your city always amazes us.
Very nice video ! I got a lot of inspiration from it ! I don't know how your translucent pieces are so perfect without scuffs or scratches. I can 't seem to buy a set with a decent coming piece. Always looking forward t your channel's videos , keep up the amazing work !
Amazing video. Ton of very helpful tips. Love how the beach looks like from above, transition from dry sand to water using so many colors is mind blowing. I'm also thinking how to implement white strip road expansion which would gave me that little bit more space on side of the road to fit some vehicles that are 6 stud + wide. I'm glad I've found this vid.
Hahaha, ofcourse it's a policeman walking out of Dunkin' Donuts. Absolutely love the amount of detail your city has, I aspire to one day have something this good myself.
Also I think I have a good idea for the empty corner where your chipotle build is. Add a warehouse or industrial area for the deliver trucks. And you also need a post office for the deliver trucks to add some realism. I also love all the small details. I never thought about that except street signs and stop lights.
@@AFOLTV Maybe in the new city layout? Would love too see it! Also have you thought about adding a substation in that corner? Would fit the space and would provide electricity to the city.
Great video. Really like the details. I love building sky scrapers and you are right, making an interior for all of them is very costly and time consuming. What I am starting to do is just doing the lobby and roof details. Or maybe one floor just to show what it would be like.
Like this one. Don’t make it bigger, keep adding detail! That’s my mantra. My city is 12x4 baseplates but insane detail. I can’t stand huge lego cities that try to add everything and have visible base plates everywhere.
I definitely appreciate your normal videos, your tutorials, and detailed videos like this where you give us insight into your design thought process (which without this we may only be able to infer your motivations based on how we interpret the final results). For a while, I guess I was tending towards being somewhat of a LEGO purist, and thus I was averse to custom stickers. But your city proves that they can make a city look so much more realistic, since especially when seen at a glance, they fool our brains into thinking this is a real-world landscape 🤪 In general, I am now a fan of whatever the creator chooses to enhance their LEGO city (e.g., custom stickers, custom lighting, non-traditional building techniques, etc.). In any case, as you said, I would agree that your custom stickers stand out as a pretty unique feature compared to other LEGO cities! 😀 While I appreciate dense cities like the one by Robin Hood Bricks, I also really like your less cluttered city (which you noted was one of your design focuses) where you give more priority to exposing your cool city details! 😀 Love everything that you all do here! 🥰
Ah, thanks so much! It's always hard to capture all of the detail on camera when doing the larger city overviews, and it's just hard in general due to the size of the camera / how small some of the built in details are... but happy we were able to show you guys some of the builds up close, and I'm even more glad people seem to like this style of video! As for the stickers, completely agree - we were a little hesitant at first, as we didn't want to detract from the city or clutter the look with logos, but after adding a couple, it just creates such a nice 'realness' which makes the buildings stand out more
First video I've seen of yours. I was watching thinking this looks a lot like brickell/downtown miami, then I saw the fire department name. Lived in south Miami for a few years, love it! Definitely a new Sub here!
i know that flesh/realistic minifigs are expensive but i like them more than the yellow :) but ur city is so great and gives me some ideas but know i am getting a lil bit to old but i really like the way u show us how this is made and entertain us with this. thanks from germany🔥
Gorgeous detail work! Btw, I'd love instructions for some of your trees. Like, I'd pay for instructions for the tall tree by the Dunkin' Donuts (with the blue bird on top). I've been looking for instructions for a variety of more interesting trees for my own city, and you guys do great work.
Awesome video! Would love to see more, especially of the minifig close-ups! Also, I hope that you guys don't mind if I point out a certain 'anachronism' - for want of a better word - with your highway stickers: your Airport sign says "Interstate 35 East" - but odd-number interstates are North-South routes ;-)
I'm loving your videos. Weirdly it looks so simple yet so detailed and clean. You've Inspired me to start collecting. Question? What are micro builds. I'm new to all the Lego terminology but slowly learning. Thanks and keep up the amazing builds
Glad to hear we've been an inspiration, that is great! Micro builds are awesome, it's what we started in. Great way to save space/ money with a smaller city!
I know you'll get this comment a lot, but I have to say that your beach is absolutely beautiful! The colours are extremely nice, they all blend in together and connect so well. Awesome detailed video, you've got yourselves a new subscriber! 😊

Thanks so much! Always hard to capture all the detail on camera when doing the overview vids, so I'm glad people are liking this one as well
I love this city, it’s so detailed. It looks so real and it’s incredibly huge.
Good job 😁
I'm glad you like it!
I love product placement in my lego city.
this is the most insane city ever!
Appreciate it!
The greenery makes your city look a bit like Singapore, I love it

Thank you, diversity is key to a thriving city!
Your city is SO AWSOME!!! I can't even describe it. Great work! LOVE IT
Thank you!! Still a lot to be done haha
Awesome video 👍! Your city always amazes me! The details are great and your city really gives me LA and Miami vibes!
Glad you like it, thanks for watching!!
These have to be the luckiest mini figs ever, being able to live in this incredible city
Ah appreciate it, hope they are enjoying their lives 😂
One of the best videos. This type of video is awesome.
There's an incredible amount of detail, and the right amount to make it realistic.
I wish my city would look like this

Cool city! Lots of details and I love your lego skyscrapers!
Thank you!

The littlest details makes the biggest difference and you go above and beyond for those small details
Thank you!
The city is so cool
Thanks!
OMG! the most detailed lego city I had seen, it is amazing
I love all the designs
Thanks so much, glad you like it!
I honestly think your beach layering/colouring is one of the best I've seen. Definitely one of the most realistc and sophisticated cities on YT.
Thank you so much 😀 - we have a free tutorial on how to do it on our channel!
Keep up the great work with your videos!!! Definitely deserve more subscribers!!
Thank you! We keep growing, just wish it was faster 😂
Cheers mate hopefully you can reach 100k by the end of the year!!! best of luck 👍
I love the views from a minifigures views, the fact that your city looks more real with less minifigures. Keep up the great builds
Thanks, will do!
This city is amazing and I love how detailed it is and how you explain it! There were many things I enjoyed like the foliage! Awesome!! Keep at it!!
This is absolutely amazing .

This is one of the best custom LEGO cities in terms of balancing both large-scaled buildings and small detailing.
Ah thank you, appreciate that!
Love all the details and the minifigs scenes!
Thank you!
I’ve seen a lot of moc vehicles by far some of the best police moc cars in fire engines🔥
Awesome city I love all the details you have and I think your city is the most detailed city I've ever seen I like how the road slowly curves up up the bridge and all of your detail on the building great city!
Thank you very much, and glad you noticed the sloped road, not everyone catches it!

That is awesome, keep it up and you'll be there in no time! It took a while for us to build all the mils plates, but glad we did!
When I am old enough and have enough Lego pieces I want to make my own city, and this video really helped. Thanks!
Glad I could help!
Love all the details that you have put in your city. Thanks for the up close view of the city.
No problem, glad you enjoyed it!
Love this video! Thrilled to see all the details we normally don’t see in your regular videos. Everything is so original!!
Thanks so much, glad you liked it!
Whats jerry seinfeld and george doing in there lol
And kramer at the boat place
