I’d be fine with Patty being director again if she embraces the fact that Diana is one of the best fighters of the DC Universe. It can be Patty, or it can be someone else, but SOMEONE needs to have Diana be more badass and show fighting skill.

Nubia would be better she is kinda WW's Loki and Killmonger combined. She is the secret sister of WW. WW cannot beat her because she is more powerful and a better fighter and sometimes she is the villain and sometimes hero. She would be a more nuanced villain. And would give WW some major black characters.
The movie disappointed me. Maybe it’s cause I’m the type who needs action in order to not get bored. But the story felt clunky. And for the longest time it didn’t feel like Wonder Woman 1984 it just felt like Diana Prince 1984. The ending was so anti climatic and cheesy tbh. Just my honest opinion.
@@jamesdman7193 yea tbh and honestly I’m surprised grace didn’t bash it. There’s like so many flaws and I personally can describe this movie as just “Could’ve been way better.”
@@o_oo_o1812 Pedro is great but you gotta blame the script and director for that, the director looked at that goofy performance and said “yeah, that looks good!”
"Patty Jenkins has been very vocal about fighting for a lack of action." In a Wonder Woman movie? Respectfully, I don't think that's the right play. There are other DC characters you could push this angle with but audiences want to see Diana in action. And honestly, Batman and Superman fans wouldn't accept that in their respective movies and I'm *concerned* that as part of the trinity, we're seeing Wonder Woman being diminished.
Audiences = teenagers. UGH I’m sick of superheroes resorting to violence all the time. This was a great fresh take, you already have batman or superman to punch things / villains. Whatever.
Idk I think it was more to do with the lack of powerful villains . We saw at the end of WW1 that she didn’t need a weapon cause she was the weapon. I would’ve liked a more drawn out fight between her and cheetah
People didn’t entirely care for the story the first time around. The liked the fact that it was grounded and she was a fighter for what seemed like good reasons. And the action was good and well-used.
@@ishowyouapple I think the story was too long. So maybe the pacing was off. That definitely could’ve been saved with bigger and stronger action sequences. The bones of the story and characters were very good though. Barbara could’ve been used more. But hopefully we’ll see her again.
@@Jk_hbngfvgBarbara shouldve remained an Archaeologist and discover the gemstone being the main Villain in the movie as she is Diana's main enemy. Huge missed opportunities in this follow up. Biggest villain was Jenkins ego.
I would give the job to someone else. Patty needs to understand that action is necessary to hit all 4 quadrants. My family who I basically forced to watch this didn’t like it. And god please don’t bring Steve back again. 😩
@@MH-xk6en why does it have to be directed from a "woman's point of view"??? The WW we've all come to know and love was created by a MAN and the character has been pretty much been written by men for the past 75+ years. Now many believe WW can't be written by a man?
+Lid Vaskrov Eva green as Circe is a good pick. She has the range as an actress to give that character a lot of depth while still playing a charismatic and formidable antagonist. Plus, I think she would have a lot of fun playing a magic user.

@@paulas1672 The WW84 mall was actually in Virginia XD And I also expected to cringe at the mall scene after the tv clips I saw, but I ended up loving it. I felt it was a great tribute to 80s movies. But I understand taste differs.
I disagree with you about Cheetah. She was cool and all but bringing back old villains just doesn’t work. That was a wasted opportunity. We need fresh faces. But definitely Circe. Wonder Woman needs a true female baddie to contend with. One worthy of her time and on her level (slightly above it too)

@@JonathanPerez-ke6lq The movie was shot before the pandemic and even then your logic is all over the place. What does a pandemic have to do with how superpowered women fight in a battle and what does swinging around have to do with "cute". I saw nothing cute about that.

Thank you for mentioning Giganta!!!! My favorite WW villain. ...I used to like Cheetah but she has been so over used in the comics and animated movies that I´m done with her. However, I do agree that she must come back at some point as a true menace.
@@justicierodelaliga I say they should get Cheetah back for a JL movie where she can join the Legion of Doom! They can switch villains in the movie, WW can fight (and curb stomp) Black Manta and Cheetah can make Aquaman shish Kebab!
WW1984 felt like a mediocre filler episode to me. Way too much retread with Steve and barely any development for Wonder Woman. I thought it was a weak effort that while fun at times, the movie felt like it was too afraid to actually continue Diana’s story in any meaningful way. The next Wonder Woman movie needs to be an actual sequel.
@John Carter You have to keep in mind that Patty usually directs drama films. She doesn't like action scenes. To that point, she should not be directing a superhero film.
The second movie was so full of laughable plot holes and BS it is apparent she does not know how to handle WW on her own. I mean WW has been alive for 870 years and she whines like a lost puppy of Trevor lol. Was the farthest thing from female empowerment I can imagine and I am a guy.
@@BoydofZINJ well it's getting a sequel so... In fact they're making a sequel 'The Amazons' before the third one. Cheetah's design wasn't great but it wasn't Cat's level bad, you can cool it with the exaggeration.
This is the first time i've found myself actually disagreeing with your review of WW1984. I thought it was quite bad on the whole. really should go back to whoever did (write and direct) the first Wonder Woman movie
patty directed the 1st so it's kinda 50/50 on that one. Honestly don't just give her full reign to do w/e she wants you can even tell from this vid that she was the reason the last 20 mins of the 1st WW was as bad as it was.
I think WB needs to get a new director who wants play with a cinematic universe. Patty got full control for the sequel and look what happens! Diana needs new blood at the helm and more action
Yeah.. I agree. Sounds like she dropped the ball, especially when she had complete creative control. And then saying the only reason we got the fight between her and Ares was because the studio forced her. She’s already burning bridges. I know one thing for sure when she heads over to Disney to do Rogue Squadron, she better follow the script laid out for her or the Studio heads will give her the boot quick
@@BCtube01 yup. She did t have Snyder around to write this one so this is what she wanted. She wanted a Donner type movie. Johns wants the same thing so this is the result. I expected the movie to be corny and not QUITE match up in same “ universe” as BVS but wow she really made it seem like a different character. She completely disregarded Snyder’s stuff when it was getting bashed and goes with the marvel tone , then Snydercut becomes a success and some score of BVS is awkwardly jammed in the movie. I don’t know why they’d bother when the majority of people don’t like BVS. Flying, making a plane disappear?? My wife watching was so confused. She can make things dissapear?? Where did that come from? A whole plane?
they should go the Gamora route with Steve - grab him from an alternate timeline (maybe even a modern AU?), and have Diana forced to reconcile a Steve who doesn't love her back (yet).
To be honest, whatever way they find to bring Steve Trevor back forever, it would work for me... In my opinion the best and most emotional part of WW84 was Diana and Steve`s relationship,,, I cried like a baby for them LOL ... they have such a strong chemistry and, despite playing a small part in the movie, Pine really makes you care about Steve... you can really feel how amazing he is... he is a sort of hero in his own way even without any superpower and that does not take away anything from Wonder Woman herself which is amazing... so I am all for his return... as you said, Grace, I would totally enjoy Steve Trevor having a moment on his own and join Diana after the third WW movie... make it happen Warner Bros!!! Put a good word for us with your source Grace ahahahha
but werent you thinking the whole time how they basically stole another mans life? like thah guy could have had family, frends or loved ones and steve just took him over, and the wors part diana didnt mind, thats not WW for me
The movie was almost 3 hours long and had about 20 mins of actions that’s less than a 7th of the film. I enjoyed the film however it was becoming a rom com chick flick and made Wonder Woman less of a superhero and more of a depressed female who hasn’t grieved over her lover from over 3 decades 😅 I need action and sci-fi in my comic book films plus the final fight scene with Cheetah was too dark and short and tried to cover the CGI that was done, honestly we can use fresh eyes to handle the 3rd film
I liked the human aspect of Wonder Woman, makes her feel more realistic than your average super-heroine, but I do agree, while the tank fighting scene was cool and my favorite fight in the movie, I do wish Cheetah v Wonder Woman was longer and had more climax. After all, they’re iconic nemesis’s to each other and are each other’s foils like Joker and Batman, seeing more action in the last fight would’ve been better.
@Vicki Peterson think how many plot holes will come out of this movie directly affecting the current DCEU. Dark Phoenix had the same problem after apocalypse
The problem w/ the "X-Men" films was that they were Wolverine Films guest starring Charles & the Xmen....If your concern is them not taking from the vast X-villains? How about learning more about the other X-Men. Cyclops was raised by Xavier to be a leader and he showed no signs of leadership over the first 3 movies. All we know about Scott Summer's is he's Logan's Cuck
I can see a path forward for Cheetah to come back. Barbara, having tasted power through the Dreamstone, searches for a way to get it back... which would be a way to introduce her “canonical” way of transforming into Cheetah.
I think cheetah regarles of what people think about the movie are loving her, it just gives the perfect chance for barbara to really fall in the Cheetah curse and find revenge on Diana, with Veronica Cale conspiring to find Themyscira and exploid their resources and magic you can even add Giganta to the comspiracy, thats what i would love to see, specially since we'll probably see Diana owning her public image as wonder woman in WW3
First one ends with Love conquers all, Second one ends with Love conquers all, please make Third one all about Action conquers all. PLEASE NO MORE STEVE TREVOR, do something new!!!
+sport Steve Trevor is more of a plot device than a character at this point. Jenkins may be overestimating just how much fan interest there is in seeing this character. I really hope a third movie delivers in terms of action set pieces and story.
This is why Grace is the best amongst fan reviewers - she doesn't suckup to the DCEU and reviews honestly without bias. Dave, Chris and the rest of the gang can take notes here...
I'd love to see Francis Lawrence (Catching Fire, Mockingjay 1 and 2 and I Am Legend) directing Wonder Woman 3. He's incredible with action sequences, he knows how to use visual effects and has experience with strong female characters (Katniss Everdeen).
Steve in flashpoint? Are we going to see Diana kill him like in the animated movie? 😱 Also, I didn’t like the cartoonish marvel feel either. It didn’t feel right after watching the first film
Hated? That’s a strong word. I mean there were MANY plot holes, and the script could’ve been improved. But I loved the score, and I thought the acting was overall very good.
That stinks. I’m sorry for people who were so disappointed. I was at one point but the movie is so bad to me it’s funny. I thought it was t as bad as Catwoman but I think in story it really is. Catwoman makes more sense.
@222ckc I was just sharing my experience. I saw it in the theaters, maybe that improved the movie. But I’m sorry you had a bad experience watching it. Let’s hope the third movie is something we all can enjoy!
If you told me this was a different director from the first film I wouldn't blink an eye. It's a shock they are the same person because the tone is so different in each. Both are good films but they just don't seem connected. Also, Grace's video about WW1984 when the title was first revealed gave me so much hope it'd be a more serious film.
Make a movie similar in tone and action to the first one while keeping a couple of the emotional scenes like in the 2nd movie. Can we please get the sword and shield back.
This film just shows how much influence that Zack Snyder has over the DCEU. He helped write the story for the first Wonder Woman(but not WW84) and you can definitely see that through out. I say whatever they decide to do with Wonder Woman 3, they bring back Zack to write the story for it.
Several things: -Patty Jenkins said she´d be doing a trilogy. So let her finish that. In fact, she even said that her last one would be on modern times. As such, that´s the reason for WW84 not being a true sequel. ...but, I do agree that the movie needs more action. -Yes, Cheetah has to come back...but I don´t know if on the third. I want to see Giganta as she´s my favorite WW villain. And, she´s the third most known WW villainess. -There´s no need to rush WW 3. Green Lantern has yet to have his first movie. Then there´s the next Superman movie (that has to happen), the Shazam vs Black Adam movie... And these are just the ones that have yet to make it into movies. Then there are the ones that are currently in production and/or about to come out. So there´s plenty of time for a third WW movie. -My casting choices for Circe would be Lena Headey and for Giganta Sarah Pulson. -Once the third Patty Jenkins´s WW movie is done then move forward with another director. There´s no way WB will stop making WW movies and/or have her show up in others. -As for the reception of WW84, while I do agree that the movie has it´s faults, if I were WB I wouldn´t worry that much. Grace said it and it´s true: critics and die hard Marvel fans won´t give DC movies a break. With some exceptions the Marvel movies are the same. Think Pirates of the Caribbean. However, critics adore them and let´s not mention Marvel fans. They´re always perfect. Yet, no matter what WB does they always must find something to crap on them. Anyone remembers how awful Thor 2 was for instance? Yet NOBODY ever mentions it. In contrast, if a DC movie is not well received then they keep on trashing it till the end of time. No mater the improvements moving forward. PS Ironic how it´s "fine" to crap on the Pirate of the Caribbean movies but not the Marvel ones when, as said, more often than not they have the same templet: action/comedy/family movies.
I went to the movie theater for the first time in 10 months, and saw it. You have NO idea how many people walked out. I've never seen that many people walk out from a premier. Sadly, i walked out 10 min before it ended as well. Looooved the first 2 acts, the third was HORRIBLE, absolutely HORRIBLE. The movie in general was way too long.. Great first and second act though!!
The idea of bringing Steve Trevor back for good is always well accepted here!!! He is an amazing and loved character and Diana`s true partner :) Chris Pine played him so well, he made him such a pure, funny and at the same time deep man... He deserves to come back... The best thing would be to have The Flash save him and give Steve a little bit of an adventure along side other DC characters like you suggested; The third Wonder Woman movie could be a little bit different having the 2 iconic WW actresses together in modern time.... The reunion of Steve and Diana would be what fans really wanna see at the end but it needs to be earned and so the idea of bringing Steve back for good is FANTASTIC but separating the characters for one movie to make us really anticipate their reunion is the right choice!! No other man would really be satisfying for Diana in the end
I spent way to long this morning writing out how to bring Steve back using the standing Greek Myths of DC. It doesn't take much. Also this movie was pleasing to me.
I fell asleep watching this 😭😭😭. I had to watch it again the next day. They should have shortened the runtime because of lack of action. I can't believe a Wonder Woman movie bored me more than Thor the dark world 😭
Steve Trevor absolutely needs to be a part of the third and (final?) movie. I find it really perplexing that some people don't understand the enduring love story between Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor. Not only is Wonder Woman a strong powerful woman, she also has a great love in Steve. They are true partners and a team. If his return (it needs to be permanent this time) is done well and creatively, it will be great! They get their happy ending in the comics, so why not in the movie. Patty Jenkins also knows the electrifying chemistry between Gal Gadot and Chris Pine is pure movie ratings gold so they would be insane to not capitalise on it.
Omg i agree!!! I remember a ww comic where steve was gifted to diana by the gods bc he had died. So what if in the last 10 min or so idk the gods give her a present but she says she has everything or she that she world peace. And the gods realize she's a hero and not selfish so zeus sees inside her mind and sees that she still wants steve. And it can be like in the pirates of caribean movie and he comes out of the ocean in Themyscira lmaoo. Idk but patty does love chris and steve and defends their love story so here's hoping she gives them their happily ever after 😔
@@CK_Godoth I'm just hoping they leave the snyder cut, the suicide squad and the batman alone. Again with all due respect, some fans 'got' Joker, just didn't care for it. And Wonder Woman 1984 is REALLY bad. I couldn't believe how bad it was while watching. An RT score in the 60s is still too high! I'm so scared for Rogue Squadron now. What blew my mind is that good actors were behaving comically in the movie. It's like it was made in 1984. CGI was terrible, dialogue was sloppy, acting was weird. And aren't we done with the whole nuking each other thing?
It is clearly shown on IMDB that it is an action-adventure and fantasy movie, so yes it should have had more action than drama. The main reason Aquaman was very successful because it had plenty of action in it. If you don't want to put action then just put it as drama and fantasy. A prime example is the 1917 movie which is a drama movie and it shows on IMDB.
And aquaman was just a "SPECTACLE "movie every other cool down scene seemed corny cause it couldn't mix well you need a balance to enjoy these to be surprised and truly enjoy the experience
I felt like I was watching Wonder Woman from 1984 in HD while in 1984 and in the present. And It was DONE MASTERFULLY!!!! With a combination of the visuals, the tone, the music score, the way it was directed...Just...fantastic. Patty Should get some awards!
I was so disappointed by the sequel. The only good and memorable parts were the beginning scene, the end scene and Barbara’s journey into becoming cheetah. Everything else just felt like a mess, even the action wasn’t that good with terrible cgi. The first movie was my favourite DCEU movie but patty Jenkins dropped the ball hard on the sequel. So sad.
I honestly don’t understand how people don’t love this movie...? All movies have problems, but this movie was visually BEAUTIFUL❤️ I’ve watched it five times already.
I hate seeing all these people hating on the movie because there’s not a lot of action... Why do super hero movies always need a ton of action? It is obvious to me that Patty was trying to give us something different, and it sucks people can’t appreciate that. I enjoyed seeing Diana be more human, and showing us that she doesn’t need her suit to be a Wonder Woman. This movie is filled with love, hope, and more than a few important messages. Please give it a chance.
Wonder Woman 1984 was honestly wonderful and I would love to see Steve return if it's done respectfully and I would love Patty to return as the director I just hope it all works out because Patty Jenkins is incredible with the Wonder Woman story.
You know what was weird for me? Seeing Wonder Woman being so fragile in the movie. I get that the wish was making her weak but still couldn’t help but feel like they didn’t do Diana justice. Every time I see Wonder Woman in the comics/tv cartoons I’m always excited as when I see Superman because we know how much raw power they have But this movie just made her seem super weak. And I’m guy who loved the first one. Sigh
I've been arguing with friends all day who didn't care for this movie much. I think it's refreshing to have a change of pace from the usual action driven formula we usually get. But the pacing was really bad
I know it’s highly unpopular but I would love Steve to be back. I know it’s unlikely and Chris probably won’t be in the film but I think if it’s the last one they deserve a last scene together. Not bringing him back but maybe a scene like Peggy and captain America. Finding a way to each other at the end
What have you done Patty!? We were rooting for you!! After watching the movie I think they should take back the creative control from Patty Jenkins! She's a great director but the movie became campy at times the tonal difference from the first WW was so off-putting. Also there were a tone of problems with the script they should have someone else handle the screenplay for sure.
Diana finally letting go of Steve was a huge moment for her character in WW84. Bringing Steve back would cheapen the impact of that. If the next movie is set in present day, it’ll be over 100 years since Steve died. As much as I like the Steve character, Diana needs to be given the chance to move on.

Flash: "OMG THEY KILLED STEVE TREVOR!"
Wonder Woman: "YOU BASTARD!"
We need to introduce:
Circe
Donna Troy
Peter Dinklage as Dr. Psycho
Also having Wonder Woman battle Giganta would be cool to see in live action
Good casting
I’m down with that Dinklage needs some more acting roles.
The way the cgi was done in both Wonder Woman films....I cringe at the thought of bringing Giganta!!!
@Shawn Kuhn alright but she has done so in the comics. Giganta doesn't have to be the main villain, but that is one of Diana's foes.
Good choices. Good casting.
It’s either Circe or Giganta next for Wonderwoman 3.
I hope not. Patti Jenkins messed up with Cheetah and Maxwell Lord and ruined there potential. I don't even want her to touch Circe.
WW and Asteria vs Cheetah and Circe with cameos from either Nubia, Yara Flor or Jason.
wonder woman 3....that's a quaint notion
Nubia would be better she is kinda WW's Loki and Killmonger combined. She is the secret sister of WW. WW cannot beat her because she is more powerful and a better fighter and sometimes she is the villain and sometimes hero. She would be a more nuanced villain. And would give WW some major black characters.
Grail
The movie disappointed me. Maybe it’s cause I’m the type who needs action in order to not get bored. But the story felt clunky. And for the longest time it didn’t feel like Wonder Woman 1984 it just felt like Diana Prince 1984. The ending was so anti climatic and cheesy tbh. Just my honest opinion.
You're not the only one, this movie is really getting obliterated mercifully
@@jamesdman7193 yea tbh and honestly I’m surprised grace didn’t bash it. There’s like so many flaws and I personally can describe this movie as just “Could’ve been way better.”
Omg the ending was so bad that i found myself feeling sorry for pedro having to act it out
@@o_oo_o1812 I agree that Cheetah should have been the baddie for the 3rd movie!shoe horned in and the fight at the end was almost good, just almost!

"Patty Jenkins has been very vocal about fighting for a lack of action."
In a Wonder Woman movie? Respectfully, I don't think that's the right play. There are other DC characters you could push this angle with but audiences want to see Diana in action. And honestly, Batman and Superman fans wouldn't accept that in their respective movies and I'm *concerned* that as part of the trinity, we're seeing Wonder Woman being diminished.
I'm confused by this sentence, did she want more or less action in the movie?
Audiences = teenagers. UGH I’m sick of superheroes resorting to violence all the time. This was a great fresh take, you already have batman or superman to punch things / villains. Whatever.
@@ancientloser u make no sense
@@novelenterprise She wanted less action.
I get that she want to portray Diana as loving and caring, but she's also a warrior for godsake. There has to be a better balance for it.
I feel like the lack of a sword and shield hurt the fight scenes in this movie.
Idk I think it was more to do with the lack of powerful villains . We saw at the end of WW1 that she didn’t need a weapon cause she was the weapon. I would’ve liked a more drawn out fight between her and cheetah
I’m not exactly sure about her anymore. In terms of story, she’s awesome. But Wonder Woman shouldn’t be mostly a drama.
People didn’t entirely care for the story the first time around. The liked the fact that it was grounded and she was a fighter for what seemed like good reasons. And the action was good and well-used.
In terms of story she’s terrible

If it fit the story way not bring him back. And I agree patty needs to go

My family all liked the original movie and most agreed with me that it was superb. None of them like 84 so I know that feeling.
@@MH-xk6en why does it have to be directed from a "woman's point of view"??? The WW we've all come to know and love was created by a MAN and the character has been pretty much been written by men for the past 75+ years. Now many believe WW can't be written by a man?

Eva green as Circe is a good pick. She has the range as an actress to give that character a lot of depth while still playing a charismatic and formidable antagonist. Plus, I think she would have a lot of fun playing a magic user.
Eva Green in ANYTHING for me...❤️
Yesss we've been fan casting her for that role many years ago
I think she is a better actress than the lead.
I want cheetah back. more evil than ever.
Circe could be the one to do it. Or introduce Urzkartaga to bring cheetah back.

Damn I must be in the minority cause I didn't. I also wouldn't mind more minutes added to the movie with Cheetah
I was trying to be patient, but i did wind up fast forwarding eventually
It was way too long
Didn’t feel it but I do think some scenes should’ve been cut out for cheetah. Like when her and Steve was in her apartment and it was just silent.
This movie was so disappointing. The opening mall scene was so cringe and the ending fight scene with Cheetah was not good. It was too short and the coloring was too dark. They missed an opportunity I feel.
Still love DC.
It seems like everyone needs a mall scene in their 80s-set movie/TV show. That empty mall in Georgia must be a cheap location to shoot...
@@paulas1672 I didn’t mind the location, it was the acting that was so cringy.

Cringe indeed! Omg, I hated that scene. It felt like a parody of a superhero-action movie as well as a parody of the 80s.

Cheetah should return. Also Eva Green as Circe. and ofc Asteria
I disagree with you about Cheetah. She was cool and all but bringing back old villains just doesn’t work. That was a wasted opportunity. We need fresh faces. But definitely Circe. Wonder Woman needs a true female baddie to contend with. One worthy of her time and on her level (slightly above it too)
I’d love to see hawkgirl be introduced in wonder woman 3 and have the two of them teaming up together. Perhaps the golden armour is based on the thanagerains and is made of Nnth metal like hawk girls mace

The director did not want two woman fighting hand to hand like men. Thats not cute during this difficult times.

Yes I want more focus on WW, strong and independent.
Yes just like an episode in a series.
Yeah it’s time Wonder Woman gets a new director. Seems like she split the audience with this movie.
@222ckc Zack Snyder definitely helped with the action sequences in the first movie. Not everyone has an eye for it.
@John Carter You have to keep in mind that Patty usually directs drama films. She doesn't like action scenes. To that point, she should not be directing a superhero film.

Agreed!!!
Sounds exactly like Thor before ragnarok.
I just saw patty’s history in directing and the only good movie was Wonder Woman First one. Um yeah bring a new good director.
they should go the Gamora route with Steve - grab him from an alternate timeline (maybe even a modern AU?), and have Diana forced to reconcile a Steve who doesn't love her back (yet).
Put a good word for us with your source Grace ahahahha
but werent you thinking the whole time how they basically stole another mans life? like thah guy could have had family, frends or loved ones and steve just took him over, and the wors part diana didnt mind, thats not WW for me
Reverse the roles and imagine a male WW f**cking a random girl instead. Cool, right?
I’d love to see Circe & Medusa as well. I think that would definitely be awesome.
Well said !
@Shawn Kuhn oh god please no more Patty storytelling. Lol
Agreed with all of your points
One of the mistakes of the X-men films is the kept going to the well with Magneto, when there are so many strong villains to explore.
It's funny you mention the X-Men as much as I liked the movie, I feel like this movie has too many parallels with apocalypse going into dark Phoenix.
All we know about Scott Summer's is he's Logan's Cuck
wait didn't grace say WW84 was going to be the flashpoint reboot of DCEU? What happened
It was a theory
Man imagine if Charline Theron has been cheetah...
+sport
Steve Trevor is more of a plot device than a character at this point.

That stinks. I’m sorry for people who were so disappointed. I was at one point but the movie is so bad to me it’s funny. I thought it was t as bad as Catwoman but I think in story it really is. Catwoman makes more sense.

If you told me this was a different director from the first film I wouldn't blink an eye. It's a shock they are the same person because the tone is so different in each. Both are good films but they just don't seem connected. Also, Grace's video about WW1984 when the title was first revealed gave me so much hope it'd be a more serious film.

This film just shows how much influence that Zack Snyder has over the DCEU. He helped write the story for the first Wonder Woman(but not WW84) and you can definitely see that through out.
I say whatever they decide to do with Wonder Woman 3, they bring back Zack to write the story for it.
Several things:
-Patty Jenkins said she´d be doing a trilogy.
PS
Ironic how it´s "fine" to crap on the Pirate of the Caribbean movies but not the Marvel ones when, as said, more often than not they have the same templet: action/comedy/family movies.
Aw that’s a shame to hear. My screen was as full as it could be and everybody stayed till the end.
Ok Ok....Grace said to be Nice to each other guys....😂🤣
The idea of bringing Steve Trevor back for good is always well accepted here!!! He is an amazing and loved character and Diana`s true partner :)
Chris Pine played him so well, he made him such a pure, funny and at the same time deep man...
He deserves to come back... The best thing would be to have The Flash save him and give Steve a little bit of an adventure along side other DC characters like you suggested;
The third Wonder Woman movie could be a little bit different having the 2 iconic WW actresses together in modern time....
She's 70 years old, i would rather her have a daughter, aka Donna Troy.

Anyone notice that Wonder Woman’s shield and sword were nowhere in sight in this film? I think that pretty much sums up the action in 1984
oh hell....I didn't even notice that....now I'm even more bummed out about the movie
Sigh
Loved this film. Can't wait for the sequel!
CIRCE AND CHEETAH FOR WONDER WOMAN 3!
Recast Sandra Bullock as JSA's Wonder Woman, after WW3.
I judge movies on re-watchability, and unfortunately this movie has none. (loved the first one, just was let down by this entry.)
Yes same !
I hope when she starts filming Rogue Squadron, she keep the fans and the source material in mind.
I agree.
Nope, this is trilogy and they finally end up together
I think someone else should direct the 3rd Patty had full control and she missed the mark, so Warner Bros should find a new director
Yup, if Disney wants her, WB should let them take her. Let her direct Captain Marvel sequels.
@@hicksvillain9865 Marvel don't want her. They already fired her from Thor before WB hired her for Wonder Woman.
Max ‘s son can just take over the role of Maxwell Lord.
No one: Why was Cheetah so bad at hiding?
Dad: No matter where she hid, she was always "spotted." 😝
Seeing Gal Gadot as WW is enough for me. The movie is not perfect but i still enjoyed it. Scrap that RT rating :)
