Good looking rigs, they match your house perfectly as well! I grew up in Wichita, 30 mph winds are nothing for that area. 😂 The best mileage I’ve seen in our TRX has been in the mountains, consistently get 16-17 up in Colorado.
My 2021 TRX gets 11-12 around town and im in the Mountains of NC, When im in flat cruising @ 70 i get 15- 15.4 in Snow Mode...Towing 5000lbs i get 11 at best...
As always, great content! Have you noticed any belt slipping issues with the rippa-tuned lower? Also, have you encountered more Cat overtemp events with the trx since the install of the lower pulley? Lastly, I’ve heard that you can safely add one gallon of E85 before you fill up the remaining 36gal tank with 93oct, is this true?
Interesting test, my Jeep wj 4.7 and Jeep wk2 5.7 get about 21-22 mpg both stock. My 6.1 SRT can gets about 21 mpg but goes way down when in traffic lol
My TRX gets pretty much 10-13 depending on conditions. My V6 2dr Bronco on 35’s gets pretty much 15-17 depending on conditions. Condition mostly being speed and as you know our crazy high Kansas winds can play a big factor as well. Great video!
You should use the Upside app to get cash back on gas. You can easily save 40¢ per gallon in California. Use Promo code TMT4U for an extra 15¢/gal cash back bonus on your first fueling of gas or diesel. Check you area! 0.50¢ x 20 gallons = $10 back!
That Wrangler MPG seems out of line. We have what I think is the same 3.6 in our Ram Promaster-based Winnebago Solis Px . It weighs more than 9k and is a brick. We average 16 mpg at 70-75 mph.
Hell Yes more TRX content!!
My TRX is around 12mpg around suburbs, My 2dr JL manual 3.6 gets 21MPG. Hwy - TRX 13.5-15MPG, Wrangler 17-18MPG
Testing my GTI’s fuel econ and this was conveniently timed to me testing mine and watching your video
Tyler! Also meant to say above thats a Beautiful Pair...Im about to drop the ball on the 392 to pair with my TRX...
My 2024 Extreme Rubicon 3.6L with 4.56 gears gets 17.5 mpg with mixed street and highway in Phx AZ

Is it worth putting premium gas in the 3.6L ? Any pros cons about it ?
Ouch ! I use my Sienna for road trips. 24-27 mpg comfortable cruising at 70 ish. Boring maybe, but i'm older now.
