Yeah I was going to say the same… was also going to say he showed one super Cub, a interstate cadet, a carbon cub and some other Cub experimental… not even sure any of them had an o360 … lol most carbon cubs have 0390 in them. By and large most cubs have the O320 in them. The 180 horse makes them too easy to go over the nose and there’s just not that much extra performance at least imo the extra weight of the o360 takes away useful load, limits the amount of braking power. Idk
The interstate shouldn't have made it in the video. I had someone help me who maybe didn't know planes. A PA-12 with a big engine and flaps is a Super Cub in my book. Same with the Carbon Cub.
@GreatMichiganBushCo nothing wrong with that. Saw the cubs and got a bit of variety. I'm really surprized how many J-3's, PA-11's, 12's, 14's, Champs, Cheifs, T-craft's, Cadets, Luscome's, Cessna 120- 140's, Tri-pacers, etc are still flying in super condtion.
What video did you watch last? I probably should have numbered videos better. I suppose I could go back and do that, the one you saw with will be number 5. What airplane was it?
Shows about 5 versions of the Piper Cub, so that kind of counts, although arguably, the X-Cub is an entirely different plane, it's not even made by Piper.
Mike Patey has a channel showing his own stuff off as he designs, builds, and comes up with hardcore ideas. The last one I watched was (I think) called “Scrappy” which was absolutely insane in features, ludicrously short take off (about 6-10ft) and landing (even less).
It's great but I guess I desire aircraft that are attainable and useable. I would love a Catalina but that airplane needs to be a hangar queen only coming out a few times a year. I want to own planes I can fly 100-200 hours a year (Like I do my Stinson) So the WWII stuff doesn't fit my desires. Even on an limitless budget the maintenance time per hour of flight probably does not allow for this type of fying.
If you've ever flown a super cub with 180 horsepower, you'll know it does not need any more power. Overpowered beast that will grab you by the balls lift you as fast as a helicopter. If you find the Super Cub boring you've not flown it on the correct missions.
Okay, what are you going to do with it? I guess the operational costs are 40 to 50k an hour. I'm looking for an airplane that can bring me places off the beaten path and and I can afford to operate.
Only a couple of these clips were actually super cubs... Lol I saw an Interstate Cadet and A LOT of Carbon Cubs which are not the same thing and not even the same manufacturer
@@GreatMichiganBushCo hmm currently I am getting my ppl so my focus on favorites are the single props but if I were to say all of them I would be here for hours, currently flying the da 20 c1 very fun, however dream planes/jets are g650, cessna citation, da62, piper cub as well, and my dream planes to be pic on are the a380 and the a320 as well as a 747 or a 777. This is merely the tip of the iceberg for my aviation nerd :). Also if you've ever heard of kptk I do my training there!
The Jelly Belly plane is actually an Interstate Cadet.
Kent is the Man !!

Saw him last weekend at a blue Angeles show
I Met Kent last year. Very nice guy
@@ralphgregory7616yes he is. Great guy too. Very nice and fun to be around.
I love the part where he said the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th.
They are all in separate videos. Check them out.

I want an SR-71. where's that on your list ?
@@cap5856bro really has no friends so he has to pick fights on RUclips
Nothing beats watching a Cub crab in right before a storm approaches.
Gotta agree with that! Personally, something about a Cub landing is oddly satisfying
“The five planes I most desire.”
Proceeds to talk about one plane
There are 5 video. This is the first one. Check them out. All the planes I most want.
I want a Super Cub: proceeds to add clips of a PA-12, Carbon Cub, and an Interstate Cadet
The interstate shouldn't have made it in the video. I had someone help me who maybe didn't know planes. A PA-12 with a big engine and flaps is a Super Cub in my book. Same with the Carbon Cub.
I loved those last 4 airplane😍😍
What the next 4 videos. :-). I lust all five, only so much you can do with 6 seconds.
Nothing can beat an great, reliable and rugged tool like the Super Cub.
I agree. Perfection in a plane. Maybe a little slow but you can't have everything
I loved the number 3 and 5 so much
Thanks for watching all the videos. Some people didn't get this was just #1 in the series.
The five planes I love: there’s just one.😂
There are four other videos
Except the 2nd plane shown is actually an Interstate Cadet.
Yes unfortunately I had someone assist me making this video and they included incorrect aircraft.
Totally my kind if airplane.
Aviation enthusiasts love the heavy metal, pilots like the grass roots of aviation, a smile machine that carries you skyward!
The old J3 is closing in on 100 years old and it’s still one if the best ever designed.
The best design, it was improved with horsepower and some flaps. Right out o the park Piper nailed it.
It's not every day you watch a video and see your cousin.....lol
Nice 😂
Gotta REALLY love the newer carbon cub!!!
Yes, love flying it in MSFS with the Garmin avionics.
Garmin in a 30's bi-plane... That's Blastphamous! 😂
Spendy spendy plane tho
Most of the planes in the video were not Piper Super Cubs. Most were Carbon Cubs and an Interstate Cadet.
As far as I'm concerned, the carbon cub is a super cub.
Carbon cub - for $500,000 you can have one …
Mine priced out at 325,000. I'll happily take a '54 Piper for 125,00 instead.
I like the fifth one on the list the most.
What video did you watch last? I probably should have numbered videos better. I suppose I could go back and do that, the one you saw with will be number 5. What airplane was it?
My first flight was in a 150 hp super cub. I will never forget it.
Good place to start. Did you ever get a certificate?
Funny how the Super Cub is also the number one choice for beginner RC pilots as well.
Carbon cub it's my dream
Its face looks like it's happy to fly
Very useful in remote missionary assignments as well.
JARS has most still flying I believe.
Cool 😎 thanks ❤
Great aircraft...very forgiving ...mostly
It's a tailwheel. Mostly is fair .
Me personally my favorite is the Cessna 337
Why the 337?
In this decade the Piper Cub design will become 100 years old.
Piper hit it out of the park right out of the gate.
No question about it ✅
Randy Roads stunt gone right!!! If only Randy pulled it off like this. Black Sabbath would’ve done so well!!! Long live R-R☠️!!!
I want a corsair
Just call it what it is. The Cub is the "flying Jeep" 😊
That's a great descriptiom
CubCrafters had an orange Carbon Cub at Oshkosh this year. That was one of the most gorgeous GA planes I've ever seen
500 miles.. that's a Honda civic.. Best ever.
My great grandfather had a piper cub so I really want one not my favorite plane but it’s up there
The Piper Cub is such a classic. I am not sure if you have flown one, but go up and give it a try. You might find it becomes your favorite.
What a happy looking plane...
The Five Airplanes I
I have them in different videos. There will be 5 in the series.
The carbon cub 🥵
Shows about 5 versions of the Piper Cub, so that kind of counts, although arguably, the X-Cub is an entirely different plane, it's not even made by Piper.
All based off the Cub.

The second aircraft isn’t a cub. It a Cadet. Brilliant.
Mike Patey has a channel showing his own stuff off as he designs, builds, and comes up with hardcore ideas. The last one I watched was (I think) called “Scrappy” which was absolutely insane in features, ludicrously short take off (about 6-10ft) and landing (even less).
Diamond DA-62
Dream aircraft: PBY Catalina, F4U Corsair and Bf-109. I like WW2 stuff
I would've said Boeing 747 bit that works too
Cessna 172, beachcraft sea king, Cessna 152, piper simonca and Cessna citation
Those are cool airplanes. My guess is you have some time in them.
It’s definitely on my buy list but only if it comes with a Rotax. Don’t want to mess with a Lycoming.
HA! The Rotax just doesn't have the power to make it a "Super Cub" you can do it on an experimental Cub.
The Toyota Hilux of air planes
The ultimate FSX starter plane
I'm guessing a carbon cub is a super cub with more carbon? I'd never seen the super club and only know about the carbon cub due to cleetus mcfarland
Sorta.. The carbon cub is really a modern Super Cub. The original has been out of production for 40 years.
I want an s r seventy one blackbird
The large balloon tires are a modification for gravel bar landings.
Or beaches, or tundra, or dirt roads, or rough fields, p or anywhere you might need extra prop clearance and additional suspension..
And most those cubcrafters planes(x-cub and carbon cub) are powered by the titan in 370
A Classic!
Ah yes, the super cub is 5 planes
I have a rc version of that from horizon hobbys
I wonder if the RC flies as well as the real thing.
Ok you forgot one. The Stinson with blue interior at the beginning of your video has to be a top 5
I don't desire that one... I already have it 🙂 what planes do you most want?
Personally I like the A160a more. But the super cub is definitely in number 2 spot.
That's an interesting number one. How are you acquainted with the airplane and why is it number one?
@@GreatMichiganBushCo it is the one that I first learnt to fly in. And they are adjile
TBM!
That's a little too big and turbiny for my taste. But it sure impressive airplane
Super cub ❤️. One day I’ll have one then I can takeoff and land at my house .
Such a good use for a Super Cub!
Has a nice looking face too 😊
Oh thank you!
But if you brake to fast after landing it goes nose first into the ground destroying the propeller and possibly the engine.
Well, Yes you need to be a good pilot.
so, what keeps you from owning one?
I've asked myself that same question thousands of times.
The 5 planes I love the most…
Proceeds to talk about only 1….
The cub rocks. I have an RC cub on floats. 😊
There are 4 other videos one for each of the 5. Shorts only allows 60 seconds and I needed at least that long for each plane.
About to big turbo this for max cut down travel time😂
My number 1 is a f-22...
That's an unattainable aircraft so O just can't desire it no matter how cool it is. It sure is cool though.
I want to be a Bush pilot
So do I! When do we start?
Question what is the best warbird
I've not had the opportunity to fly any war birds, but the Spitfire sure is a good looking bird.
So what were the other 4?? I love the Super Cub too. Im an Alaskan bush piolet. Haha
The are in other videos. You will probably like the list.
Who doesn’t want a super cub?
I'm not sure who doesn't want a super cub. at the moment I've got myself a super Stinson watch for updates!
Hey! I want a Cub even though I can’t tell the difference between a Cub and an Interstate Cadet.
Yeah. We don't make all the videos, sometimes I just do the voice and contract the video overseas.... some things slip though. I try my best :-)
Well you got through one, what are the other 4?
They are on the channel.
Only the last plane was a super cub
I consider the Carbon Cubs super Cubs, it's just the current version. Updates :-)
Super Cub? Na mate. Carbon Cub!
A Carbon Cub is a Super Cub, I'm just calling it what it is.
Well....those 5 airplanes he talked about 1.
.
Watch the other 4 videos 😀
Said Pa-12 supercub but half the clips are the cubcrafter carbon cub.
That supercub land you anywhere
I only saw 2 supper cubs in this.
I consider Carbon Cubs, Super Cubs. It's just the modern version.
he did say five tho
Five favorites, five videos.
First airplane is a Stinson. Very familiar interior…..
It's a great little 40's airplane.
1. MiG 21
2. Su-30sm
3. MiG 29
4. MiG 31
5. F-4 phantom

At one point I had the opportunity to be typed and fly one.
I have rc super cub its the best plane
That's interesting. The RC supercup is also a great plane. Design in the 1920s they hit perfection right off the bat
I don’t think the one landing on the truck is a Cub. Pretty sure it’s an Interstate Cadet. Cool , rare plane.
i think it's a cub but probably highly modified, only a cub could make such a landing .
@@obelex8811 definitely not a Cub
@@paulhootisn848 An Interstate, not a Cub.
Many of those shown where carbon cubs.
I’ll take an F16 or Mirage 2000
But you can't....
Awesome easy plane to fly , but just not for me , too boring, I guess , for those of you who luv them more power to ya ....no pun intended 😊
If you've ever flown a super cub with 180 horsepower, you'll know it does not need any more power. Overpowered beast that will grab you by the balls lift you as fast as a helicopter. If you find the Super Cub boring you've not flown it on the correct missions.

@@GreatMichiganBushCo Fair enough. 😄
Here at LYVA we use it to tow gliders
It's a great tow plane. I have around 5000 hours in Super Cubs towing. The Super Cub is just a versatile work horse.
Nice. It really can do anything you want.
Can I get it with four seats?
Yes that's how it comes
Why not a carbon cub with a rotax or Honda conversion
Put it on floats and come up north
Did I miscount, or did he?
Watch the other videos. There are five.
Talking about 5 planes but there's only one.
There are 5 video total.
Cub
Yes. One of the Cubs!
Too bad they couldn’t reconfigure a motor and call it a COX .049
Are these STOLS?
Yeah but I think I'd go for an F-15.
Okay, what are you going to do with it? I guess the operational costs are 40 to 50k an hour. I'm looking for an airplane that can bring me places off the beaten path and and I can afford to operate.

Yes, the Super Cub has flaps that's one of the difference between the Super Cub and the j3
