I love this episode. Her people pleasing, different personalities to pertain to different people, and her getting out of control is literally what I do, to the point.
That entire sequence gets me rolling every time😂. And I love the fact that when Fluttershy gets to be more than just the "nice one" they go completely off the rails with her, that's some Pinkie behaviour if ever I say it.
This is another cute episode. And while it is adorably cute for Fluttershy to switch out costumes and be different characters, at the same time, in my opinion, it downgrades her character development because why does she need to do this when she has built confidence in herself to handle situations. It is sorta like a double edge sword. Plus, she is out of character by being mean to her animal friends. But overall, this is episode is sorta okay for me.
@WildFirePhoenix96 If you've ever worked retail or ff relatability is key. Customers are more likely to frequent your place of business if you create a rapport with them. It has nothing to do with confidence, but rather "selling" yourself in the sense that customers would come back.
@MLPDymos Okay, I clearly understand that argument, and that's a great point. That's why I admitted (in my comment) that Fluttershy look so cute and adorable in outfits and cosplaying different characters. That is neat by the writers. But I will say on behalf of that it is unnecessarily pointless because it is not like Fluttershy ever uses them or does this again. So it just makes into a one-note joke: which is her cosplaying and pretending to be someone else.
@WildFirePhoenix96 Well, unfortunately, 90% of fim episodes are self contained and serve no greater purpose. Not bashing your opinion or anything, just point out that this episode didn't necessarily show Fluttershy lacked confidence.
