BTS are naturally hilarious chaotic comedians. Ironing someone or pretending a stove is a DJ table is kinda “normal” for them. They are such big nerdy dorks who really are very unserious and silly, and we love them for it. Their videos/songs can be deeply meaningful or very silly and ridiculous. Almost always hype and great choreography/lyrics always.
"Spoon" is referring to a common Korean cultural issue -- those who are "silver spoons" or born into wealthy or opportunity, as opposed to lower class or "dirty spoons."
BTS has a whole other song called Silver Spoon, also known as Bapsae. In that song, the bapsae bird (or crow tit in English) has short legs, whereas a stork has long legs, and this also represents different social or economic classes. The Silver spoons are storks (haves). The dirty spoons are the bapsae (have nots).
I highly recommend that song and the explanation video.

Word of advice... always always let the Music videos and film clips you watch run to the very end, as you miss hints and clues that link them up to the next one, from the beginning of their career the songs, lyrics,MVs and films have a story arch that run through them, even up to the present day. Once you get into the BU( Bangtan Universe 🌌) you'll get confused if you don't follow in sequence. But you are too young (Baby Army) to attempt that yet, even older Army's struggle at times with that. But you can still enjoy all the songs but the MVs won't make much sense xx

Easter eggs? 😂 Their entire strings of MVs, teasers, trailers, LIVE performances, webtoon, notes, songs, albums, etc will take you down another rabbit hole called *Bangtan Universe* which is on another level and/or spectrum on its own. That's their ongoing fictional storyline weaved throughout their MVs and albums since it began in 2015...earlier years. BTS has been training since 2010 and officially debuted on June 13, 2013 so this June will mark their 10th year anniversary....a huge milestone for sure. 💜🎶🎉
Always let a BTS MV play to the very end because it’s never done when you think💜

Yes, they do those "easter eggs". You have no clue. But it is usually used as visual storytelling for past MV's and incidents in their career as well as referencing their culture. These MV's can get pretty deep to the MV's that are associated with the BTS universe because the objects relate something into the universe.

They have an ongoing fictional storyline told through some MVs, those ones dont really reflect the lyrics but the visual representation told through dance and acting, so yes in those u will find a lot of easter eggs. Other ones like Black Swan and Fire will be a reflection of the lyrics and album theme, Black Swan is from Map of the Soul 7, thematically based on the analytic psychological theories of Carl Jung - Persona, Ego, Shadow.
Also it is crazy to me that this was ur first MV, i feel like we have been doing this for ages😂

BTS is even better with their live performances. You should watch the BTS 2019 MMA Awards full performance video, as well as the 2019 MAMA Awards.
Also check out their older dance practices when they debuted a decade ago. They hit hard. No more dream, We are Bulletproof pt 2, and N.O. These are great.

Korean society is very much still a hierarchal society, age, education and also class is very much important and define your status within society. Ppl that are poor or do not have a good education are refered to have a wooden spoon while those with a silver spoon are the higher ups, the priviledged. BTS have several songs that talk about these social issues and injustices.

First?? 😂 these guys are honest to god dorks. That ironing scene is essentially a snapshot of their weirdness. By all means, continue reacting to music but you also need to check out some Try Not To Laugh compilations 😂 we have a lot of ARMY that do some creative compilation videos, Sugaarmy is one of the top, I do also love Jinnie Eats, but I may just be a Jin bias 😂 another is Kookies TaeTas. You’ll get some laughs, they’re crackheads even by Korean standards. On the spoon, I think it’s a reference to social status, like being born with a silver spoon (at an advantage). Considering a lot of the guys came from the “lower” classes I.e. a poor family or financially struggling, he’s essentially saying what kinda spoon are you to insult me is like you haven’t been where I have so who are you to pass judgement on me?

In this the background music at the start is their track “dope”… there is a long complex storyline called the bang tan universe or BU which runs from 2015 onwards.. with MV’s, short films, short stories even a web game… and the Easter eggs are everywhere… their 2022 track yet to come MV is a look back filled with visual references to their music from 2013 on….

Be careful you tried to stop the video three times before it was over and then you finally did stop it and it still wasn't over. They often go to blackout prior to the final shot of the video so make sure you run it to the end each time. Don't be fooled by the blackout.
They do have Easter eggs everywhere in every video. It may be a hint of an upcoming song, it may be a reference to a past song, it may be references to other video set pieces or props or wardrobe and often it's little tidbits from the Bangtan Universe (the BU) which is the fictional storyline that runs through their albums.

Answering your question about "spoon". You will see references in their songs about spoons. A dirty spoon (Mic Drop) is poor, bottom of the ladder. A silver spoon (English title to the song Baepsae*) is someone who is well off. There is also gold spoon and bronze spoon.
Just a heads up on the word baepsae which appears in several songs. A baepsae is a very small bird that gets translated as 'crow-tit' which throws first-time viewers off. The tiny baepsae refers to lower class or younger generation, while the long-legged stork refers to the wealthier class or the older generation. The song Baepsae (Silver Spoon) performances are an ARMY favorite, mostly because of the hip thrusts in the choreo. While the choreo makes ARMY thirsty, they are really a big F-you to societal expectations placed on younger generations.

When they mentioned spoons, I believe they were referring to silver spoon, golden spoon etc. As in "born with a silver spoon in your mouth" to describe someone who was born well off. I think the translation is slightly off when it said ‘It’s okay to be a loser’, l think it should be ‘It’s okay to lose. ‘ loser is a derogatory term for someone who does not achieve, whereas to lose means you tried and fail at something.
