Been doing ddpy for 352 days. Following the program using the rebuild series to the Intermediate level workouts and diet i lost 145 pounds this year. Its a great program
In my first couple weeks of DDPY and with a shattered ankle I am doing bed and chair. I think it is helping me , more then my Physical therapy, OF COURSE both together are getting me stronger and moving more. I can do DDPY 24/7 where as Physio, I have to leave my home and have hubby wheelchair me around. I love the streaming and online program because with that you get Community and you cannot put a price on that❤❤😊 Dallas is a hoot and dude has a HEART OF GOLD!!!
It’s working for me. Starting week 8 and I’m realizing a mindset shift and better habits. Haven’t started the diet yet but I’m down 12lbs and feel better , more flexible and cognizant about my health. I incorporated a 30 min walk 5x weekly too. It works!
I'm in my first month of DDP too. So far, so good, I feel a lot stronger and more flexible already. I'm amazed how much my heart rate goes up with the dynamic resistance - as much as when I run. The sweat just pours off me.
Dude, even if you hadn't lost the weight you were hoping to lose in 60 days, you can physically SEE a difference from day 1 to 60. Your body was still taking shape as you were building those muscles.
yeh defo mate, that was the thing for me, not to focus on on the scales but other metrics such as increased reps etc and like you say, visually. That is why it's important to take pics so you can side by side them as i shan't lie, i was looking in the mirror every day hahah. p.s. New video out for plans for this year, do check it out :)
This is a great way to compare before and after. Thanks for putting it together. Also, helps set reasonable expectations of what 60 days will get you. Good job all around!
thank you. I wanted to make it real, i am lazy but i wanted make small steps and this recording and review was a journal for me too to keep me accountable. I must admit when iwas creating the side by side i did give myself a pat on the back ahaha
The one thing that amazed me about doing DDP Yoga is not only the pump i got in every major muscle group, but how i jacked my heart rate up just by standing still. 20 min into the workout, i felt like i just ran on the treadmill lol it's awesome!
Ive only ever done Fatburner and it works pretty quickly to help tone your core which makes your tummy look less puffy. you also need to be doing the moves correctly with dynamic resistance.
I didn't lose much weight in the first 10 weeks, but I'm glad I took before and after photos. You could see from these that I had made huge progress and from my measurements. I lost 31.5 cm in circumference, 10 of which were in my stomach. And I've become more flexible. Diet: I just took longer breaks between meals and hardly ate any sweets, apart from 2 or 3 ice creams, because it's summer.
They probably tell you this but I've heard from a number of friends trying to lose large amounts of weight, counselors will tell you muscle is denser than fat. If you are doing a heavy excersise program like this pay more attention to your measurements than your scale. You are very visibly fitter, Considering that any major physical change usually takes a year, you are looking amazing for 60 days!
Not sure at the top of my head. At the time I purchased this, veganism wasn't massive, I believe there was a vegetarian substitute but that being said I'm sure the online version and recipes have defo bee updated to cater for most dietary requirements =)
go for a walk if weather permits or jump on the cross trainer for around 15mins. I try and get the same cardio work out as if i was walking to work before the pandemic. Currently working from home. Excercise is currently - yoga, walk/cross trainer - and plan to go back to the gym after the beginners proramme comes to an end
Getting ready to pull the trigger and get the online version. I see you had a mat and two foam blocks, do you recommend any other equipment? I saw you or someone mentioned heart rate, do you use a monitor? If so which one? Trying to hit the ground running. I’ve been looking for a non-DDP Yoga sponsored review, very helpful. I’ll following your journey. Thanks
Not really.. I just used a cushion to rest my knees on...heart rate strap, I have one didn't during this round but when I've done future exercises I have a fit bit..defo helps. You can purchase cheap heart rate monitor watches online.. not as accurate as the chest ones but good starting point. Defo take a video like I did so thst you can see in yourself the difference in mobility =) good luck buddy
Hey Saj, great vid. I was wondering if you changed your diet in the 60 days you were doing the program. If so, did you do take the gluten + dairy free route as he suggests? Thanks
Hi @mz ... I'll be honest I didn't follow the diet as highlighted in the plan... I just reduced what I ate usually but slightly healthier... I struggle with 'diets' shall we say
I bought the Rebuild package straight off the website. 1st DVD is Bed Yoga if you're bedridden. 2nd is Chair Yoga, 3rd is Standing ddpy. Don't quote me on this, but each DVD on Rebuild is gonna be done for 90 days, so 270 days total. In the black book that comes with it (which you can buy by itself off the website). It's got the charts you should follow which is like 3 or 4 workouts a week. He talks about the Paleo diet and has recipes. I do Keto and was drenched in sweat. The bed Yoga each workout is about 13 mins. Does anyone know how to redeem the free app, it says you get access for free for a while IF you buy a DVD set from his site. I'm guessing it's the QR code on the black packaging. Congratulations man, you really are losing the spare tire, Own Your Life.
@@patnewson6908 You make the decision when you feel you are ready to move to the next one. If you track your workouts online, there is a weekly schedule created for you, but it is editable so you can add or delete workouts as you like.
i did not :( i just created my own - my set of CDs is like 9 years old, however looking on the webiste everything looks much better on the app with new nutritional plans and it looks like a monthly subscription service too.
Depends - technically there isnt a session every day. Main structure is monday /wed/fri but then towards the end of the programme the workouts double up. The quickest workout i have come across is 12mins and the longest is 40 mins. Once you get to the double workouts the combined work outs roughly amount to 1 hour. Hope that helps?
Could I please know your height, starting weight and current weight? Or rather weight at the time of recording. You have a similar build to me, and without knowing numbers it's still visibly a clear improvement. Thanks for the vid
You might not have lost a lot of scale weight but it looks like you did lose a lot of fat, maybe it's just angles but you look significantly less chubby in the after video.
thank you :) i now no longer focus heavily on scale, more monitoring of 'pain' e.g how long i can stand up for, How i fit in clothes, and general day to day activities :)
I wouldn't disagree 'per sae' ..it's all about putting less in your mouth and moving more... calorie deficit... is the key regardless of the diet you do. They all work if done correctly.
Nope, youre wrong, its all about workout, i only threw put sugar and put in fruits and veggies and i still lose weight and gain a lot of muscles, diet is 30% of weightloss
@@patrik9745 I'm not a dietitian nor a PT so respect your viewpoint however surely if you replaced sugar with fruits; unless consuming the same calories of fruit as you did sugar, would mean you were in a deficit? If its working for you, keep at it bud - wish you the best in 2022 =)
Hahah yeh, defo, not going to lie I did start to get disheartened but when you do day 1 v day 60 vid v day 90 vid side by side ..flexibility has got so much better =)
Congrats on your progress. I'm more interested in pain relief and conditioning more than anything. What has been your experience in both on these? Thanks Edit: share the rebuild program with your parents or elders who struggle with mobility...
pain relief 100%, if done consistently and with patience i.e push as far as you can during that given workout. I have found that my lower back pain has eased but as i loosen the 'bigger muscle groups' i am slowly uncovering the smaller muscles that are weaker that havnt been 'working'.....Can you define what you mean by conditioning specifically?
Increased as well. Whilst my ideal workouts currently are that of red hot core and energy there are longer work outs such as the 'below the belt' which are 40mins long and i have been able to push further for longer. Caveat to that is 1) I have noticed greater energy when i have been doing workouts at lunchtime rather than end of day - at which point i'm normally sapped of energy. 2) Even in the shorter workouts where flexibility allows i am able to stay longer in a non modified pose longer. hope that helps?

at the time, a few years back - it was around $110
Depending on the package you get

A slight modification to diet by fasting would have resulted substantially drastic results.
