- How to change/setup your WiFi SSID network on Arlo Video Doorbell. To change your WiFi you will need a mobile device with the Arlo app, removal tool, network name, and password. The camera on Arlo doorbell will need to be able to read the QR code on your mobile device for setup. Changing the WiFi network should take less than a couple of minutes. Then Arlo will be back online using your new WiFi network.

Such a hassle changing the wifi. Should be able to do it solely on the app. I can't imagine using my ladder to climb and change the wifi of my 10 cameras ...
Mine gets stuck looking for arlo doorbell
Same. Did you have any luck?

I hate this doorbell it 'made chime noise but its taking years to find the doorbell then fails 😔😔

Can you help. My wired Arlo DB is driving me nuts. It has read the QR in the past but will not read it now. I have watched every help video out there. The led just keeps breathing in the white led color.

The first i hear but too search for thé doorbell nothing can somebody help me?
I've done this process over and over and still no chime. It would be easier if you could lay it on a table like you have it, but doorbells are on a wall, not a table. My lights will blink for about 3 seconds then stop - no time to pick up the phone and point to the QR code.
I had this problem too. After it blinks fast, I have to wait a little bit and then it blinks slowly and I get the chime. But then in the app, it doesn't find the doorbell...
great video. Thanks!
Thank you for watching!
If it has been a while since your doorbell has connected to WiFi. If you click on the settings button there is a "Change Network" button you can tap on towards the bottom of the page.
Hey, would you like to try HeimVision security cameras?
Before you change does your camera have to connect to old wifi network?
So mine never lit up when I tried to sync it on the back I’m not using the tool I’m using a hair pin . I was able to get it off the wall holder but no light why?
Mine takes like 10 seconds holding the reset pin before it flashes fast.
It definitely doesn't do it in one second here.
But, after owning this for like 5 years, I'm trying to reset mine and I'm back to the well-known pain in the ass:: "Searching for Arlo" and "Arlo not found".
It has always been a stressful and angering thing to have to do, because it always seems like it takes a hundred trys before that one reset try that actually works.
Arlo really sucks for this, and it is its own on board Wi-Fi implementation that is so weak which causes this.
I did all that but after it flashes white it flashes red
Chad my Arlo video doorbell is flashing red and white and connect, tell me why?
The power is too low on the internal battery. Make sure the breaker is turned on, wires securely connected. If those look good, give it sometime to charge. If you still have problems you may have to upgrade the transformer as it could be weak.
@@sellgooddeals-DIY Mine has done that since I bought it 2 years ago - when it was brand new it did both the white flashing and red/white flashing. Took me several calls to Arlo to finally get it to work. It's been plugged in for 2 years and worked ok most of the time. My internet service has been very random this past couple weeks and the doorbell completely disconnected from the network a couple days ago. In fact it had video on it from around noon, then stopped working a couple hours later. Now I can't get it back on it.
I am once again stuck in that loop right now, for the umpteenth time 😡.
What a poorly designed device! You have to be able to see the hole on the bottom of your doorbell, stick in some pin, listen for a click, remove the doorbell from its mount and then do the same thing internally on the under side of the doorbell JUST TO CHANGE THE NETWORK OR PASSWORD. Not quite as easy to do as this video suggests!
Nothing like beating the crap out of the wires when you do it, too.
I did it so many times on mine I broke the wires and now they are really short.
We still cannot get ours to connect.
