Last tuesday, march 29 2016, I've bought this fantastic kit in the blue open version, kit HK103, and after 5 days of building I must say that this €599,- model is worth every penny. Very well packed, everything fits perfectly. Most parts are screwed together with a variety of small and very small screws. For parts that need to be glued together, I advice to use superglue, because the normal glue for plastic kits doesn't bond on metal parts. Most challenging task is to find the right sprue's. Unpainted parts like the engine and transmission can be painted with metallic grey but most of these parts are later covered. Basic modelling skills are not good enough, moderate or experienced is what I recommend for this kit. And a steady hand and a large, clean area to build. Tip: Put a white sheet under your working area, that will making your search for dropped screws a lot easier.

This one looks much better than former Pocher kits. Through the years I've build the Pocher Ferrari F40, Alfa Romeo Dinner Jacket and an Mercedes SSK 540. Nightmares to build, but the Avantador looks very tempting. I think I'm gonna buy one this week. But I think I'll respray all the plastic parts, even on this video they still look like plastic. First some research for the right colours, but certainly a very nice model.

Looking awesome! A bit dissapointed its so much plastic though, I thought it was going to be more metal and actual real material. But stil, it's awesome! Gotta buy this right away. Guess I need a bigger place first though..
I spoiled a kit using a corrosive glue. It was the indicated to the kit. It was necessary to attach parts and I never tried to build another kit before this. By what I can see, this kit doesn't need this kind of thing. You only need very small amounts of glue. I love this kit and I really want to build one. Do you think I sould venture into this assembly? Thank you for your help.
What tools do you need to build this. I got this model but I need the tools. Can you list them for me please

Looks like an awesome kit. But I don't believe that i could be build without painting. The Body may be painted, that's very fine. And the cockpit just plastick with decals could be accepted. But motor, gear and exhaust in the same gray? Very loveless. Are the real colours for the parts named in the building discription?

Awesome build and very nice video. Once again, how long was the total build? I see that you built it without painting anything. Is everything perfect or should there be some painting to get the kit to 100% accurate? Very nice kit and build. Hats off to you!

+Aaron Truth Hey Aaron, you just need the basic tools. A small, magnetic, philips head screwdriver, superglue, modelling knife, cutting and needle nosed pliers, tissue, a large and clean table, toothpicks (for the superglue), sanding sticks and a white sheet under your working area for easily findind back fallen parts or screws. A good and adjustable hobby light with magnifier is helpfull. For the rest, good eyesight, a lot of patience and discipline. Have fun!

Darn! I want to make a cool project out of this... But i dont know if it is possible, without ruining too much of its aesthetics. I want to, if there is enoug space, mount a motor + esc... Then i would need cvd's... And hmm the steering. Would be the on of coolest rc cars i've ever seen. xD
But it couldnt be fast this is a multipeice body its not lexan or something so it would damge easily
@@Avix747 It is also VERY solid and weighs around six kilos. It would probably be the slowest r/c car in existence.....

40 hours
+Chee Keong Ng It takes me a lot longer than 40 hours because I really like to take my time and enjoy the build . 4 hrs a week means it takes me the better part of a Canadian winter to put together . This is good because I've got more time than money .
How I wished Pocher would do a Miura kit.

The body panels are metal, as are some other parts such as suspension. Other parts are plastic or other materials (such as carpets etc.)

Not really "complete assembly process" - you edit out majority of parts trimming, e.g. see edit from 2:29 to 2:30. (I love this model, to be clear, but be honest with your edits and show a time switch)

.... the outer lamborghini body is metal, most of the inside is prob. plastic,
this is painful to watch, unpainted plastic, so sad.

well its not painted very well then and shouldnt have bothered if they are just going to paint the whole sprue in a single color.

Had to laugh watching this don't be fooled by this yes it's nice when finished and all put together but...!!!
It doesn't go together like on this video far far from it in fact this has all obviously been pre prepped for this build , in reality you will have to retap hundreds of screw holes and I mean every single screw hole...!! You will also need file's and a professional quality screwdriver set cutting taps and cutting paste and oil ...!! Im a experienced model maker and this was so frustrating to make yes it would be reasonably easy as they state if things actually fit like on this video but in reality they just don't , so be prepared for hours of unnecessary hard work due to the above such a shame really because it looks good at the end but one of the worst building experiences I have ever had its like its been designed to drain all the fun out of it and really and I mean really work for all that money its cost you ....such a shame really because it could have been a great experience instead of a nightmare....
