I did the IRO front/rear long arm 4" lift in my driveway by myself. Not too bad. I used ratchet straps and lots of pre thinking. My front driveshaft went too. I have done many upgrades to my jeep. They are endless.
We came on here to see if your rear lower arms are same set up as ours and yes it is!!! Jeep club we went wheeling with yesterday thinks they are upside down haha!!! We wheeled hard on rocky trails all day didn’t break front driveshaft yet, looks like it had spacer add to the yoke on transfercase, we had off road shop installed for us paid $1,000.00 on labor alone. “Iron Bear Custom” in Pacific, Mo.
Iron Rock says you have to get a whole new exhaust if doing a long arm for the rear. I didn't hear you mention anything about that. The rear long arm is next for me, but I didn't want to shell out another $400 for their exhaust.
We still using stock old exhaust on ours. Shop we had installed lift kits for us didn’t say anything about and we wheeled hard all day yesterday didn’t hurt anything.
Just check front driveshaft on my son wj no damaged, I think you guys already broke on the car lift jack because you didn’t unhook driveshaft at all and drop it down by the looks of angle on video. This happen on other driveshaft I damaged before.
i insist, for serious off roaders long arms are not an option... you can brake 1 arm or arm base and still get to the destination, with long arms forget about it.... 2 years ago with a broken arm base (Front Upper) i still drove all the way from San Pedro Martir to Ensenada, pulling a JK with a broken steering box....
