Had plenty of cars where I'm told "Clutch is gone/bad" but it's just the adjustment and you can get more life out of it. Not always the case, but people never check the adjustment, just assume the clutch is gone.

Yeah, I recently switched to a backpack style and the clear rectangle boxes to hold my baits. Took me forever to finally make the jump. But it has been life changing!

When my clutch clipped and didnt smell it was because the gearbox leaked oil from the seal into the bellhousing contaminating everything.

Just so you know Bass are largely site feeders(pretty sure that’s what they call them) but either way I do know for a fact that they go after anything shiny. A friend of mine used to catch lunkers with an uncut key that had a hook on one end because it was silver and shiny as a mofo. Those spinners will be cool just make sure they stay shiny 🤘🏻✌🏻

Get spinnerbaits, they don't have to be massive either. And if your fishing rivers or fast moving water get swedish pimples they work great and you can cast like them like 300 ft 😂. If you're looking for the big boys look into Texas rig, it's a little different but works amazing I almost will guarantee you'll catch fish if you do Texas rig

The stock trans will bolt up to an ls with the FABbot adapter plate and a 4l60e bell housing, and a f body or c5 clutch setup, I used this same setup in a d21 hardbody.. it would spin 3rd all day

Bait caster you say? Not sure what the tech now a days is on those, but all mine have to be manually braked with your thumb before the lure hits the water or the back lash is real... Nothing ruins a fishing trip faster than having to respool. I would highly suggest keeping a spinning reel on you till you get proper comfortable with it.

Bro nooo way I literally have a single cab short bed gmc canyon same body style but I have a 5.3 in it it rips but I wish I had a 6.0 though I just had to replace the 4l60e so put in a 2500 stall converter while I was at it so big can coming soon!!!
