- Izzy builds stuff that goes fast. He's a drag racer and builder. I love that this was our first shoot with Izzy cause it's just gonna get more insane. This "ZR1" Chevy Colorado has an LS9 supercharged with a shot of nitrous making it over 1000 horsepower at the wheels with all the proper suspension upgrades, traction control and is set up to cruise no problem but put your foot in it and you'll embarrass just about anyone out there so sit back and enjoy the ride...

I was never a fan of the Colorado but I have to say, this is what the Chevy S-10 X-Treme should’ve been packing under the hood, instead it got the 4.3L vortec

Thanks for showing this set up and going against the convention of "old school" rides. The more obscure builds the better. Muscle cars are a dime a dozen, keep showcasing the unique builds.

He said in the video He didn't start the build but He finished it. The original owner sold it because it had a lot issues that needed addressing. That's why there was never videos of it running before.
@@memog1878 , I didn’t have any issues what so ever. EVERYTHING worked as it should, he said “ you know the engine was in it “ lol…. Dude tried to pass it off like he did everything else and got called out . 🤷🏼

My only suggestion is more still frame shots on take off. When camera guy follows on take off, the truck, and alllll other cars you do, it doesn't give the viewer proper launch and acceleration speeds. DONT change anything you do, but id suggest/ask, you do a "wide shot". So that we the viewers can see the actual acceleration in a small distance

I’m just at the part where the hood was popped but why is there no air filter? I get the clearance issue but isn’t terrible to run that expensive engine without one🤷🏼♂️

I built that truck for almost 2 years EVERY nut and bolt !!!!!!!! It worked perfectly right down to the AC !!!! This dude gunna try and flex on something he didn’t do , honestly he doesn’t even know the real backstory. Weak AF
I had to hand fab every tank under that engine bay and build an intake snout that actually worked and didn’t restrict and that took some time .

Also the truck was actually sold because my close friend who had plans to build it but only got to see paint get done died in a horrible accident and I didn’t wanna look at the truck every day. So no I didn’t sell it because it was worng or unfinished so I built it in his honor….

Very, very cool truck! I remember back in the day guys I knew were throwing small blocks in S-10s and I thought that was some crazy stuff but this thing is next level. Would have liked to see what it does with the traction control off though. 😄
I used to have an '88 S-10 with a 350. It was a fun little truck but can't even imagine this thing.

Man, I really miss these angry asphalt trucks. Off-road is cool too, but I definitely miss those gems of the past...Dodge's Lil' Red & Midnight Express, Ram SRT-10, GMC's Syclone and Typhoon, Chevy's 454 SS, Ford's F-150 SVT Lightning (not that EV crap of today)...
