I have the E-PL10 and until you demonstrated it, did not think about nudging the flash to bounce off the celing. Great tip which I will now use.

Yeah, It's a neat trick with these kind of pop up flashes! Glad someone else will make use of it!

E-pl9 owner here. Love everything about the camera except 2 things: the lack of a second dial and the fact that you can't do exp. comp. through the dial (you can't even assign the dial for ISO control and changing ISO is a several step process)

Yeah I agree. If they had integrated another command dial like on some EP models it would have been pretty good for how small it is. Control customization as well could be better.

Nice video! I have the E-PL2 as a fun, throw in the bag camera. Judging from your video, it's just a bit bigger than the E-PL10. Many people feel that Olympus Jpegs have a really nice color rendition and I have to agree. Although I shoot RAW+Jpg, I almost never have to process shots as they almost always come out looking great straight out of camera. As far as your designation of the E-PL10 being pocketable in the video title, if you were thinking jacket pocket, then I'd have to agree. Otherwise you would have to wear your pants pretty loose in order to get it into a pants pocket! ;-)

Ah yeah I just shoot raw so I can play with files later, but I do hear the color rendition on jpeg is good!
As far as pocket ability I should have specified I was thinking like a wind breaker pocket or jacket pocket :) maybe cargo pants?

You can turn off the tip display but it requires drilling deep down into either the display settings or somewhere in the wrench settings. I find the olympus menu system totally cryptic. End up spending most of the battery trying to set the things up.

Ah. Yeah I'll have to dig into it. Yeah the menu system isn't the greatest!

    Someone stole the viewfinder.

Yeah, I'm not sure why they decided to remove the port all together. Maybe to focus the design but I do wish they had kept it so the option to put one on could be retained.

I have the E-PL3 and the E-PL8,no way would I use the E-PL10 I'm old school and must have the EVF.The only scenario I would use just the screen, would be when using a tripod and I can't remember the last time I used that kind of setup, must have been back in the film days. The E-PL3 cost me less than my subsequent purchase of an EVF,bummer.....................................................................

I'll be honest I didn't think I'd like not having an EVF, as I did previously have the epl5 with the vf3 I believe, but I do appreciate how small it is without one one.
