This is a compelling piece - Rodrigo is known best for his guitar repertoire, but has composed many wonderful piano miniatures in addition to this truly formidable piano concerto, which deserves to be heard more. I intend to feature more of Rodrigo's music on this channel.
This is the arrangement done by Joaquín Achúcarro in 1996, also the pianist in this recording.
