Thanks for sharing this video. I am new to hi tech auto diagnostics as you can tell from my picture. I replaced immobilizer on my 2002 Nissan Maxima (P1612 code and yes harness tested out ok with multimeter), this Xtool D8 will allow me to pair new immu with my old keys(assuming they both work) so the car will start again? So no locksmith visit or tow to stealership? Thank you in advance :)
FYI: I bought one and yes it reprogrammed my new immobilizer on my 2002 Nissan Maxima. Super intuitive and easy to figure out on the fly, this is like owning the space shuttle!👍
Hey @oliverreilly1036, thanks for the comment !! I bought the scan tool through Amazon.co.uk. If you keep an aye out sometimes they have a flash sale on them from time to time.
great video has anyone run into an issue with programming kia key fov around 2008 im useing d7 and have a wierd issue where i can program a key fob but only the last key that i program works. the other key fobs loose the programming for some reason. very wierd anyway if any one has any tricks for kia key fob programming let me know thanks in advance
Hi thanks for the comment, I haven't had any issues yet but I know when I program a new key I have to re-program the original as it wipes all keys. When I program the new key I just hit the option to add another and that's when I program the original one, hope this helps mate.
@MaTtOy14 I have done it with used keys on a Renault and Hyundai I40, I can't say if it will work on all models but if you email tech support with the model they will let you know. Thanks for the comment.

I'm not 100% sure but I know I have re-programmed old keys to a different car of the same model.

Can this only be done with a brand new key? If so can you clear a used key with the xtool and then use that?

will this scan tool program fords as well ?
Yes I have programmed keys for a Transit van and Fiesta car without issue.
