We don't have plans at the moment to phase out black. Silver is more popular though. It matches conduit and doesn't stand out like the black does. The main reason 1" is only available in silver is because we don't have shrink wrap that fits 1" EMT. We had to find a new local coater for the black connectors which has caused some delays on getting the newer 3/4" connectors restocked in black.

Are you guys phasing out the prepainted black connectors? I’ve noticed that the newest connectors and the 1” pro line aren’t available in black.

When you degrease it, do you have to go back with warm water? After you spray with the degreaser?
I didn't find that to be necessary. I just wiped off the degreaser.
