Piña Colada cocktails are a classic drink that hails from San Juan, Puerto Rico. It's easily the best cocktail to have in hand at the beach or in a pool, but today we are going to make it at home!
You can easily make your Piña Colada "virgin" or non-alcoholic by simply omitting the vodka! It's still captures all the sunshine and beach energy even without the alcohol. ☀️

What kind of coconut product did you use to make your Piña Coladas??!?
Coco López. Here in Puerto Rico we say Coco López is the only cream of coconut for a real Piña Colada. We do add a little lime juice or bitters. Some people add a splash of heavy cream but I stay away from diary.
Coco Lopez!
Thank for the coconut cream tip! I would of cometelly gotten the wrong one!
Lopez cream of coconut I use all the time.
First I use fresh mangoes without the peel, and then yogurt, and some vanilla ice cream, along with some cinnamon and vanilla, and th- oh wait a minute that's mango Lassie nvm
If you like pina colada n getting caught in the rain 💗
Yes!
If you’re not into yoga,
If you have half a brain😉🤣
If I wanted to substitute Malibu rum for the Bacardi, how many ounces would I use for this recipe?
I love this drink…an added bonus is because of the fruit and no soda, if you over-imbibe your hangover is minor and short-lived.😅
yummy
You could probably shake up the can before opening it :)
Haha yes I'm sure that would have helped! Good arm work out!
Yummy!!!! I had coconut cream leftover from a frosting recipe and searched for a fast and easy Pina Colada recipe to make last night. After watching a few videos I thankfully came across yours and within minutes I had an awesome drink!!! Thanks!!!
Yahoo! Coconut cream in frosting sounds amazing!
Yay!!! Love this video & this recipe is definitely needed right now. 🤣
Yes! All the quarantine cocktails 😍
Oh yeahhh! Love the coconut flavor ingredient tip ... game changer!
Totally revolutionized my pina colada game!
If you want just a little more kick out of your pina colada add a shot or 2 of spiced rum. A local bar at the island I'm from calls it a turbo and it's 👌
What I like about your method, is it allows for creativity with the ingredients.
I am a big fan of not going to the grocery store haha.
I'm not a huge coconut fan so I'm excited about the potential of sweetened condensed milk as an option! Looks delicious!
Yes if you don't love coconut then definitely do the sweetened condensed milk!
Thank you for the great video. If I don't want any alcahol, can I just skip the rum part and if so, do I need a replacement for that?
I Do A Virgin Pina Colada With Cream Of Coconut Pineapple Juice & Crushed Ice I Use No Rum I'm Not An Alcohol Drinker.
Yum!
A good winter drink is Hot Apple Cider with cinnamon sticks apple slices(figi apples work well) water, apple cider mix per recommended parts per water and after making the apple cider pour in a glass and add a shot or two of Fireball whiskey.🍎🍎🍎🥃
Yum!
Does blending longer somehow make it slushier? When I make mine it seems the longer I blend the more watered down it gets.
I’ll be in Mexico in a week and was looking for Piña Colada recipes to make some, but I’m a “with cream of coconut and coconut cream” dilema, since both of the are written and pronounce the same in spanish😅😅 so I won’t know how to ask for the correct one😂😂
Great job explaining! I love that drink you made! You just got another subscriber! Cheers!
Thanks Mark! Welcome to the channel!
Store your coconut cream can upside down. It makes it easier to stir up.
Love that tip!
Love the fresh pineapples chunks blended. My recipe is slightly different. 2 Rum (Plantation 3 stars) 2 pineapple juice, 1 creme of coconut (for me 2 oz Coco Lopez overpowers everything else) 1/4 lime juice, 1/8 Giffard orgeat. Blend with a glass full of crushed ice. The lime just adds a bit of zing to the pineapple and the orgeat adds a touch of nuttiness to the coconut.
Thanx ,it was delicious 😋
@@surfgirl78 Great. Pleased you enjoyed it.
Ever tried putting all ingredients in blender first, then freezing and leaving the ice out, would that be overkill on sweetness as the ice neutralizes the drink to the perfect taste?
I'm just not a fan of ice in frozen alcohol recipes as I don't want to water the drinks down & lose flavor but at same time I understand it's a COLD drink.
You can get ice cubes from the frozen pineapple juice
stop playing with the angle of the camera...that is very annoying!! I guess is a young kid in charge of the camera right??? Favorite drink for sure...
I was looking for small cans of the juice didn’t find it I was stuck with big one …haha love ur honesty, me too my sis too don’t want to do the whole
Work of cutting peeling to enjoy our pina coladas. My first time doing it …appreciate u telling me to stir that cause I def would of just used the top
Put the Coco Lopez can inside a container with very hot water for ~5 mins to dissolve. Stir and then pour what you need.
how long does it take to actually make the pina Colada? because im doing an assesment for college and we had to choose a cocktail and a mixed drink. still havent thought what im going to do for the mixed drink. We are supposed to do both drinks in 7 mins.
It's pretty darn fast! I bet you could do an old fashioned and this in 7 minutes with some practice :)
Instead of ice u can use vanilla ice cream
good video enjoy your day..!!
Put a dark rum float on top and yay👍
That would be amazing!
She is so gorgeous 😍😍
Awww thank you!
Hahaha when u said I have 3 kids I laughed because I totally understand u I have four and whatever is faster is the best for me now haha 😊
Did she say you don't want to taste alcohol 😭😭😭? I don't need a drink like that 💩
No but seriously she actually said word by word what I was thinking in my mind one time when I was watching us. how? And wow
@lolitabonita08 it’s actually good cause just one angle can get boring. how that confuses u is funny …I enjoy seeing her smile from the side when she poured the 2oz alcohol. A lot of women can relate to the smile when we about to get a delicious drink
have you tried making popcycles out of this?
No but that is an excellent idea!!
I hope you get monetized soon. Good luck!
Thank you!! We hit 1,000 followers today and are excited to have hit that milestone!
Could you do this Malibu rum instead of the white rum?
So you could use fresh Pinapple and fresh coconut milk ice and rum. And you have a healthy drink. Thanks
Healthyish haha. But keep in mind it likely won't be as sweet as you may be used to. Upping the pineapple will increase sweetness as well as making it thicker. And best to freeze the pineapple or it will warm up the drink some. Also I don't recommend using the coconut milk in boxes, that stuff is too thin. Stick with the canned full fat for best results!
Scrumptious.... & the drink looks delicious too
Thank you!
Yeah, she sure is all that and a bag of chips too, yummy !!
I am your 1k subscriber 💜💜💜
Thanks Bao!! Welcome 🥰
😉
Thanks for sharing nice video, beautiful presentation and beautiful lady too. regards.
Thanks Jose! Welcome to the channel 🎉
Love this video
Thank you!
Frozen pineapple 🤩
Word. I'm exhausted 😂
I always use coconut rum
I just made the mistake of buying the coconut cream can she first showed. If you're going to make this listen to her and get the right coconut because it makes all the difference!!!
Oh no! I hope you make it with the good stuff soon! ❤️
Can I use the 🥥 from the 🥥🌴
Coco lopez is so gros, dont use that! Use real coconut cream and a little malibu. Canned pinapple juice? No no use fresh juice missy!
Haha you do you girl! It tastes delish this way and I'm sure malibu would be lovely.
@@Theadventurebite but i whant u to make it like me.
What kind of blender is that?
All that’s missing is the banana.
Ryan
Ryan sounds legit. He likes Pina Coladas.
Can you use coconut milk?
You can use canned full fat coconut milk but it's not sweet so you will want to sweeten it! I don't recommend using coconut milk that's in a drinkable style container or low fat as it's just really thin.
I bought the same can. No cream it's all liquid is that normal?
It may have been super shaken up already or very warm, but it usually has separated if it's the right stuff and normal temp in the house. Coconut products firm up when they are cold and melt when warmer so it's probably just warm!
If we want to modify the recipe for those who don't consume alcohol, it would be nice.
You can omit the rum no problem! I do address that in the description area with the recipe ❤️
I made these...they are good.
What about coconut. Milk ?????
Very nice you are showing. Thank you.
yal dnt put icecream???
Double the rum
I like the way you roll! ❤️
Can u use coconut milk?
Yes you can! As I mentioned it will not be as authentic but it's still quite yummy. I prefer full fat and scrape the top of the can of the thicker stuff. You can also add additional sweetener if desired!
I came from alcohol free
You can skip the alcohol no problem!
look so yummy 🍍🥥😋👍🏻
Looks delicious
Kindly tell if you don’t wanna use rum then what chillis we use instead ?
Use all the chilis you have in the cabinets
it is a brilliant recipe
Thank you! So glad you enjoyed it!
How much cream of coconut?
It look like she used her 2 oz shot glass. Same as juice and rum.
Yes 2 ounces! The recipe is in the description and on our blog :)
Can you just use whatever the equivalent is in water, rather than ice, (would have to figure this out) and pineapple straight from a tin, rather than frozen pineapple, then chill it in the fridge? I would be afraid of damaging the little blades in my food processor.
Hmmm I have no idea haha. I would think using that much water would thin the drink down to a really unsatisfying flavor. I'd honestly just use the frozen pineapple and skip the ice, then pour over some ice! Frozen pineapple should definitely not hurt your food processor.
@@Theadventurebite Ok, thankyou. 😊
Mmmmm❤!
This looks so good!!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thank you!!
I congratulate you!! That’s a real piña colada, at least to me.
Thank you! They are sooo good!
Very nice
Does the pineapple need to be frozen
It makes the drink more icy and delish but you can use fresh if you increase the ice. Just drink fast! I definitely prefer frozen pineapple vs fresh.
you are so adorable
Thanks Tyson! Welcome to the channel 🥳
Wauooo I❤pinjacolade 🤗👌
👎🏼Coco Lopez Coconut Cream….tons of artificial crap! Just use cream of coconut and sweeten to your taste!
You can totally do that if you like as I mentioned in the video :) Lots of options!
💯th comment
Woohooo! 🥳🎉
Say hi to the youtube algorithm
Totally true! Exciting to see it picking up some steam. Thanks for commenting and subscribing!
You don’t say how much coconut cream
Ooops sorry! 2 ounces of coconut cream! The recipe is always in the description and links to our site for the full blog post ❤️
Nice looks delicious
Thank you!
who’s we? and our? you’re all by yourself
haha true! My team is behind the cameras and we are all a vital part to the taste testing process.
Thank you.
Thank you for watching!
@@Theadventurebite you're welcome
@@Theadventurebite how do you make it more thick and less watery? Mine didn't come out think.
🤤
They are so good!
Love it
Thank you!
Who’s too lazy to chop up some pineapple lmao. It takes less than a min to chop up a few pieces 💀
Haha well birth 3 tiny gremlins and homeschool them for a year through a pandemic and a divorce simultaneously. Some things you just learn to let go in your cocktail skills haha.
Name calling is so unnecessary however you can use the fresh pineapple
why didnt you tell the measurement of the milk? Just fill it up to here didn't tell me anything.'
Hey Clark! We often don't say the exact measurements because they are in the description below the video in the written recipe and on our blog. If you open up the drop down under all of our videos you'll get the full recipe! Makes it to where I don't have to read off of a screen reader or try to memorize tons of recipes in order to bring them to you. I try to remember as many as I can but if I miss something you can always find it there. Hope that helps!
Delicioso 😋
I so agree! I could go for one today ❤️
