There are rare times at shows like these where it stops being a concert and becomes more of a spiritual enlightenment. I'm sure this finale was one of those times.
this is the performances they need to have in the grammys. instead of the commercialized crap . one of the best performances ive seen. they look like they are having so much fun. they def feel the music
Patricia Millsaps no thanks, they'll commercialize and ruin it. The douche canoes in the business suits sitting High don't hear this.. they critique and figure out how to profit off of it
The best thing about this song is that they're all just going crazy, like they don't even notice or care that there's a massive crowd in front of them. They're just having fun.
@@Bosleybird Hey if others haven't seen it before, then it's still new. And I like your perspective. It's one that's wasted on most budding musicians, speaking from experience
I love how Alex is just running around the stage like a crazy man for the majority of the performance... I could not stop laughing. Gosh, I loved this. I love them all!
The blonde with the accordion is Marla Feeney. She was my jazz band director at Iowa Wesleyan College in Mount Pleasant, Iowa way back when. She now has a very prolific career in Branson, Missouri. We still keep in touch.
These are authentic, beautiful, raw musicians who genuinely enjoy what they do, and are enjoying being able to collaborate with other musicians who feel the same. This is why I love music, why I love these bands, these musicians. They clearly enjoy every moment they are performing and enjoy sharing their music with others and spreading the joy they feel. They understand what music is, and what it's meant to be.
Electrifying, full of energy, exciting, attractive, positive full of force and magnetic connection. A wonderful display of great talent working together for the sake of good ole fashioned fun and music.
I think they are high on great music, fantastic energy, and wonderful musicians. Nothing more. So don't be so negative and just enjoy it for what it is a great time.
I simply can't understand how this video did not become viral!!!!!! This is not a concert, my God! It's an enlightening experience! Now it is 2020, covid pandemic, and all I can think of is when we will have shows and gatherings like this again!!!! Simply brilliant!!!!!!!!!!
I can't even imagine what it would be like to have that gift, that freedom of expression. I am absolutely envious of them in a good way. One of my favorite videos. Would love to have an opportunity to see them one day!
This is what playing music is all about folks! Not some fancy show with fire and hot b!tchIz and synchchronized dancing. Just pure joy, sillyness, not holding back whatever the fuck you want to do/play with a bunch of friends on stage and a crowd loving every little thing they do. This is magic!
***** No need for ignorance. If you watched the movie you would understand why they were so ecstatic and so happy and joyful and full of energy when they did this last number together. Before you show ignorance with your ignorant comments check out the things you comment on first, These groups send out the most positive messages that make music so great.
I think we have different angles on this. I can't get enough of M&S and Ed Sharpe so this doc was perfect for me. And i gradually got into OCMS through the doc. Different preferences probably mean we have different levels of enjoyment. It was Ed Sharpe's proposal to make this doc, so that could be an explanation of why they featured most.
Pretty sure it doesn't matter what religion you belong to, what music genre you like, what race, creed, etc you belong to. These groups singing this together put off some major positive vibes that can help improve anyone's day
Makes you want to dance. God so glorified! What a great way to end a concert. The crowd, amazingly beautiful energy! Rowdy for God! This train is bound for Glory and I'm gona ride by the righteous and the holy. Amen 🙌🙏 well done fellows! Gives goosebumps! Ty
Probably the best version of this song... This was posted 11 years ago... I wonder what these guys are doing now... I also like the version of this song that was before they got on that train.
Whenever I wanna see people having an awesome time with each other I watch this video. Makes me happy :) This is the part of an equally awesome hour long documentary of their tour
A pretty girl from college was posting Mumford songs on her Facebook wall in 2012. I wrote to her about this movie, that was still relatively unknown at the time and we struck up a conversation about it. It took three weeks for me to fall in love and 8 years later, we have a beautiful home full of lights, wood fires and music. A new addition to the family this year, baby Maybelle will one day watch this with us and never truly know how much the zeitgeist of this movie and bands were a culmination of ‘feel good folk-bluegrass-Americana’ in the early 2010s. All love from Montreal, boys and gals.
When me and my fiance first heard and watched about every performance these awesome musicians have , I'm sure we listen to the entire tour they produced together without turning it off. I was and still am fixated on (Alex Ebert ) of Edward sharp and the magnetic zeros. One of my all time favorite groups. Big shout out to the entire bad... the Caucasian version of Bob Marley

Yep thats the difference between real musicians compared to fake mainstream pop bullshit.
Agreed. Yet I still love and feel the performance with Baaba Maal "there will be a time" is the best I have seen and heard yet.
