just for who ia concerns, and as much as i kove their relationship especially on stage, the two (alex and jade) broke up long before absence from the band, roughly around 2009-2011 and it was pretty marculous they still performed together with so much respect, love, and compassion even after being togwther for upwards of 5 years. So on that point just try to be greatful for all the beutiful songs amd perfomance we got still and accept what has happend. I miss her very much too but it wont change anything. All we can do is maybe in the future wr coukd see her come back but thats would be for a while until wonds have fully healed
I still remember the first time I heard this song(this band really other than home on satellite radio) in the shelter and shade of a garbage can @ Hangout Fest in 2012 w/ my ex hubby. Totally changed our lives. This particular performance of this song is still very spiritual to me. I suppose I relate it to my past because it's peppered with that antiquated Pentecostal vibe. We used to all bang tambourines and sing in harmony. #oldschoolpentecostal
I saw them live at Berkeley front row too. They were amazing, and the energy that that they brought was so beautiful. It was cheerful and energetic, but when they performed the song All Washed Out it was such a spiritual experience I've never been so touched by a single performance. I recommend you see them live. :)
Saw them a couple of months ago. Unfortunately Alex (the lead singer) was sick with some kind of flu or even a pneumonia, so he almost couldn't sing at all. Still an amazing show, with all of them dancing, jumping around like little children. And of course the whole audience singing each and every line of every single song!
I'm a little bit late 2the Party wth Ed Sharp and the Magnetic zz..And they are a Exellent live Band, really interesting approach(Refreshing,no.Pretentions)The old Crow boys i'v followed for a long time..Really good modern&Trad approach to Bluegrass ..Then we have the Mumford boy,Tech impressive, but i feel they're struggling for a identity..They identified a market for their craft, but i'm not sure their Heart is in it...But there def a good Band..Very Talented
yea its about his past h addiction and if you've never been their plz dont judge he's very brave 2 even write about it then share it with millions of people his soul is beautiful and spirit is bright there music is uplifting and there vibe is so great where we have so much darkness n the world its nice 2 have some light shine on u krazy diamonds.......
i´m drunk dancing happy like a little girl, this is marvelous, my god, this is magic....I’ve already suffered I want you to know, Im riding on Hell’s hot flames comin up from below---THAT´S A FUCKING GOOD LYRIC MY FRIENDs !!!
I found my wife and I in the video at 3:41 just to the right of the girl holding the red cell phone up taking a picture. I can officially say we have had our .01 second of fame!
omg... i fuckin agree... Looking at the dates across the pond and everything... they are all sold out cause of Mumford & Sons.. who I have no interest in seeing. Just want to see ESMZ doing a full set.
Yes. Heroin addiction. Alex mentioned in an interview that he was looking for death in drugs because he was afraid of dying. This song is about overcoming that fear.
