@@jess6859 right? Like washing your face doesn't take long at all and the benefit alone should be enough that people would stop using those damn wipes. I could understand if washing your face took a long time but it's literally only a couple minutes. If you wouldn't skip brushing your teeth and flossing then what's a couple minutes more for your face? So worth it.

My go to oil cleanser these days is the Innisfree Appleseed cleansing oil. It also doesn't "disappear" in one and a half pumps.
When my skin feels super dry or dehydrated and I want to make my second cleanse gentler, I use the face shop green tea cleansing cream. It's nothing extraordinary but it is thick and it manages to make the cleansing process a lot gentler.

Oily skin here. My favourite oils:
    1. The Face Shop, Rice Water Bright, Light Cleansing Oil (really lightweight, easy to use, fast dissolving)
    2. Holika Holika, Soda Pore Cleansing Oil (contains alcohol at the bottom of the ingredients list, but cleans heavy eye makeup like no other)
    3. Khadi Ayurvedic face and body oil, white lily (it failed to work on my hair and my face as an actual oil, so I decided to use it up as cleansing oil and it worked nicely. On the heavier/richer side).

A little bit of the product goes a really long way and it feels more effective. The DHC one has a thicker consistency and I feel like I need to rub a little harder when it comes to removing things like the brow gel I have on! It also helps that the bottle is larger and more cost effective! I hope that helps :)

Here's tip to find great skincare for your skin which seems to breakout no matter what you put on it: I go to skincarisma and check off products that are malessezia and oily skin safe. I found that all the products that worked great with my sensitive combination skin (which is also prone to cystic acne) had those two aspects down! I avoid anything with an ingredient that can aggravate malessezia and have comedogenicity rating of above 2. My skin has been looking its best now thanks to being more aware of what's in my skin care products :D Hope this helps!

i’m gonna have to run to the nearest Muji 😍 i was using the Ponds cold cream cleanser then moved on to a Biore micellar water, and both probably aren’t for me! here’s to hoping that an oil will be my best bet!

I feel oddly satisfied that one youtuber finally talked about the Muji cleansing oil for sensitive skin😳😄 I have recommended this cleansing oil for everyone since I tried it a year ago, but no one was talking about it on youtube! Gothamista recommended their toner but then I saw this cleansing oil on sale for ten euros (400ml bottle!) so I had to try it. I was beyond happy with my purchase but haven't seen it for that cheap since.
Even my boyfriend enjoys using it. It is so calming experience to massage your face with the oil. (Make sure to start with dry hands and dry face when you massage the oil around and melt dirt. Then add a little bit water to emulsify the oil...) It removes spf and waterproof eye makeup without troubles. The big bottle is out of stock all the time on Yesstyle because they sell it basically with the same price than the half size bottle😬 From the smell I would say that it smells less of an olive oil than the olive oil bottle in your kitchen. As a skincare nerd I am happy that there isn't unnecessary added fragrance. I think the smell of the oil is very neutral.

I know it's kind of expensive, but try the Shu Uemura one. My bottle lasted me over 2 years and my skin loves it. I have oily cystic acne prone skin and I use the pink one, but they have one for pretty much every skin type. Hopefully you'll like it if you try it 💖

Another recommendation for the oil cleanser: DHC oil cleanser. It does the job. A whole bottle lasts for around 4-5 months with everyday use. It's not that thick but not too thin either. I am currently trying out dear klairs though!

My favorite has been the Farmacy Green Clean Cleansing Balm. It turns milky and rinses off easily with water, which is a must for me as I do not wipe things off my face with a towel(no wrinkles, thanx.) My least favorite cleansing balm is the Drunk Elephant Slai. It's so hard to get off and it doesn't even remove everything. I have the Tatcha Camelia Cleansing Oil waiting to be used after my Farmacy is gone. I like to try new things! I may have to pick up one of your recs when I'm done that one!

My fav first step cleanser, depending on layers of makeup etc, is BareMinerals Oil Obsessed, water emulsified. If I m super greasy I love to follow up with their Plush Foam cleanser. I use micellar water to check that I got my skin clean. I wash with micro fiber washcloths that frequently get everything off without cleanser, if all I used was sunscreen ( where I live in Michigan, we don’t see the sun except during the exact hours I am inside for work or completely bundled from head to toe leaving work in the dusk. I still carry sunscreen, vainly hoping I will see the sun, but it is usually only on weekends. Then, I reapply every 2 hours, but I use mineral sunscreen, as my body and face don’t break out from it. I don’t seem to get any tan in the summer when we have tons of sun, so I’m pretty sure it is working. I apply it on gray days most especially, I have ultra fair skin and have gotten burned walking home from my bus stop, 20 minutes away. Is it this way everywhere?

I like The Ordinary’s squalene cleanser. It’s not a balm, it’s not an oil, kinda like both? You do have to massage for 10 seconds for it to turn into oil, but does a great job breaking everything down. Some people say it doesn’t do a good job removing mascara. But, if you use a little warm water, it emulsifies and then rinses away.

I've been using the Faceshop Rice Water Light Cleansing oil and I absolutely love it! When I wash the oil off I feel moisturizer but not greasy at all (even before my water moisturizer). A little really goes a long way. If I'm jus wearing sun screen and no eye make up I use less then a pump. But if I want to have a nice long massage or have some things on my eye I give it a full pump. Lasts forever !

I’m so excited about this series, and what a great one to start with!! I received Manyo Factory’s cleansing oil to review a while back and it’s the only one I’ve ever used, but now that I see this MUJI one you talked about, I’m gonna grab some. I think cleansing oils are ridiculously priced, but they really do the job of removing my sunscreen and eyebrow makeup!

    Hi James! ♥️
Thanks a lot for such informative video! 🤗
I do usually apply 2 cleansers at the end of a day, and the first one is usually... umm... feminine washing gel 😅 I apply it because it usually contains glycerine and washes my sunscreen and everyday makeup (with no foundation) gently & easily! It becomes even more effective with few drops of micellar water in it 🌝 So I do really like this combo as a first step.

Please try the missha super off cleansing oil! There are a few types like for blackheads, dryness, exfoliating etc etc. I'm using the "peel off" one and I love it so much more than the muji one you've reviewed. It has a runnier texture that is easier to rub all over my face and the sort of herbal smell makes it feel like I'm doing some facial/spa. Please try it and review it if you like it!

Please review the rest of their line so that I can just buy their products and not actually have to read their ingredient list and do my own research. :D :D :D
