I really enjoy your videos! Especially the ARC ones you have been posting. I have always carried my leatherman in my pocket. Currently using the ARC. So I look forward to you creating a belt holster that only carries the bits (and/or ratchet). Plus, it can be used regardless of which LMT someone has!
just found this channel a couple days ago through maxlvledc and im now more excited to get my hands on your holster than i am on getting my first leatherman, i will be for sure ordering one of the third party clip holsters for the arc when they are available... The only one thing id love to see on the holster are bit holders for standard hex shank bits.
The whole point of getting a holster is so you don't need to use a pocket clip, so i don't get when people ask for a pocket clip version of the armoured holster. Defeats the purpose of getting a holster, plus with the clip exposed, you can rub against something and have it come loose, which is the whole point of having it fully covered
I am with you on this. I updated the design after this stream so there is a plastic "bridge" over the pocket clip (So it is at least partially covered). I will be offering both Armored with or without the clip version.
I need an armoured version cause i work in tight spaces where ill rub up against things and accidentally pull the tool out out of the holster especially when ill get the horizontal version
Yes! More bits on the 3rd party clip option. Legend!! By the way, I think you counted 6 extra bits on the video but it looked like 7 on the screen. Seems like 6 would be optimal, but that's above my pay grade - I'll leave that to you.
Used to work in AutoCad and Vector Cad back in the day (20 years ago), and this is an absolute gas to watch! Question: Why not make the remaining holes opposite the pocket clip the same size as the ones that had to be altered to accommodate the pocket clip?
Hi zap, I've just got the arc, and as a lefty I've swapped the blade to the other side so I can open with my left thumb. Is this going to cause any issues with the non armoured version?
I do plan on making a lefty compatible holster. But it will have to wait until a bit later, it took all day yesterday just to render most of the normal holster images I need to get it released.
Just ordered an Arc Holster. Can't wait to get it!
Found you on reddit, glad I stumbled across your stuff. Can not wait to pick this up!!!!

That's actually already available on his website, he made a few different options.

Full 1/4" bits take up a lor more space then you would expect. (They don't stack like the flat bits)
@@ZapWizardthe world needs ratchet bit driver made by you since scalpers charge $200 for OEM one and Leatherman is out of stock for years
@@APT4308 I would love to design one someday, but producing it is out of my reach currently.
Magic.!
Damn! I didn't get the notification for this live... I hate RUclips sometimes
Take my money

Trying to find a good Chicago Screw option in the EU. On Amazon I can find ones with a 10mm head and 4mm post. Are they suitable or too big?

I tweaked everything a bit more off camera. I will show the final version with the holster release.
Could you make a channel slot for the pocket clip and still have it covered
No without adding quite a bit of thickness.
