    Fernanda....your Dendrobium anosmum is beautiful, ....I love your hanging plant walls, and your garden is an oasis.....your cultural information is wonderful to hear while looking at those gorgeous blooms......
    .The size and length of new growths is dictated by how much food they recieve during the time they are growing them......in bark or moss you have to wait for them to dry out before feeding again......in pumice,.. lava,....leca etc....you can feed more often.......also research has shown a lot of dendrobiums do better with foliar feeding vs root feeding......foliar feeding wont wet the media as much.......try adding a foliar feed when they show new growths....have a wonderful week my friend.

      My anosmum is potted in a mix of lava rock, aquarium stones and coconut chips. I usually water by soaking but I do not wet the leaves. I will start foliar feeling as well. Thank you so much for your lovely comment and for the til. Much appreciated. I hope you are having a great weekend 💝😍❤️❤️

    The blooms are so beautiful! A beautiful blooming wven if you have short canes. You have many many blooms and yes, I bet you feel as though you are stepping into an ice cream shop 😊 mine has no ambitions to grow longer canes..let alone blooms! I think I have a dud 😂 hope you are having a beautiful late afternoon, vecina favorita ❤ enjoy your beautiful corner of the world ❤❤

      Yes, they smell like Raspberries with whipped cream, and icecream sounds nice too 🤩 Don't give up just yet. Mine did not bloom for so long that I almost fainted when I saw the buds. I did nothing different except that last summer it was hanging from the tree. I have to admit, orchids can be very hard to understand 😃 Have a restful evening, you surely deserve it 😘😘😘😘 Btw, looking forward to see your pacavia blooms. My pacavia has a new growth as it usually does every year but for some reason it always seems a youngster 😝

    I love that a raspberry smell. None of mine produced flowers this year. I may have watered it all year long. I forget which ones need a winter rest. Beautiful to hear and see your video. Peace and love.

      @FernandaNascimentoOrchids  3 месяца назад

      All the Dendrobium that are deciduous and bloom on bate canes profit from reducing water and eliminate fertilizar during the peak of winter. I do not keep them absolutely dry for too long, though. I beleive that the drop in temperature is the most important factor to make them bloom 🥰🥰🥰🥰

    • @FernandaNascimentoOrchids
      @FernandaNascimentoOrchids  3 месяца назад +1

      Last year my peach tree gave me lots of fruit and they were delicious. Unfortunately most of them went to the garbage because I did not treat them and they rotted fast. But what's the point of growing fruit if we have to poison them with chemichals like those we buy at the Supermarket? So, at least, the ones that were good to eat were healthy 😋🤣 Thank you so much for watching and commenting, much appreciated. Have a wonderful evening 🥰😘

    Hi Fernanda. Your anosman is Beauuuuuuuutiful. I adore her. I think you know that I have two, the alba on my cork mount and my new baby, the regular purple. Would you believe that, at present, my alba has 4 new canes starting? They are around 3 inches so far. Not what I would expect coming into winter. So I am doing what my orchid tell me and watering/fertilising madly. Don't ask me why, I can't tell you. Congrats on your anosman blooms. Enjoy xx

    • @FernandaNascimentoOrchids
      @FernandaNascimentoOrchids  3 месяца назад

      I know what you mean. Your orchid says she is growing, therefore she needs to eat 😊 I do the same, the orchids growing in winter still get their "food". I hope you are already enjoying your weekend 💝😍

    I have yet to see flowers on mine (I have the "normal" variety and the Alba) loddigesii also a non bloomer but I hope they will do better this year. Both will go into the new cool room for winter, haven't been able to give them a cool winter rest

    Hope you're feeling better.
    Love your anosmum flowers but I think you don't have a pure species.
    Over the past years, many came available from Asia, often cited to be more compact plants but in fact these are crosses with Den. parishii. Flowers smell and look almost the same but the overall plant is more compact with shorter canes.
    Measuring the largest cane on my anosmum, it's over 120 cm long. I will post a mounting video of it next week.
    Anyway, love your plants and thanks for sharing.
