Hello, I have a question regarding the gimbal mount. Did you purchase a specific base to mount the gimbal ? or was the gimbal base included in the frame ? Thanks for your answer...
About 2150g. Do you use 3s or 4s? 4000mah just to less! Try at least 5000mah per pack and use two. Maybe 13" props will give you more flighttime. Use ecalc to find out what will help to improve it!
Hi, tx for the reply, the batts are 4s, have 2 packs and fly each after the other. Without my bl gimbal and camera on, flight time is around 11-12 minutes on the same 4s li-po. Indeed spinning 13" props with lower kv motors will make the quad "floatier" and fly longer time... Cheers
+MrCofl1001 maybe you can try these LiPo's: www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__64442__Multistar_High_Capacity_4S_6600mAh_Multi_Rotor_Lipo_Pack_US_Warehouse_.html Shoulf give you plenty more flighttime
Hello, I have build a very similar tarot 650 quad and getting 15mn with a 5800mAh 4S ( landing at 4600mAh ). I have some oscilation of the quad. MAY I ASK WHAT YOU GAIN Parameters for the NAZA V2 ? Thanks !
+paul hochon Sorry I do not own this quad anymore. Just try reducing your gains until the oscilations are gone. Is your frame stiff? Is it an x-style frame? Are all motors on the same level/even? There are many reasons for oscilations! You can find out more when looking through different forums as RCgroups or similar.
impossible.. i have a tarrot 680 hes with T-motor 3508 on 13 inch props and 4s 10amp battery and i make 19 mins with dji A2 and a gopro,,i bought it used so my tought is that either my esc is geting old or the ballbearings on the motors are old..
could the effects on the batteries go bad because i charge them upp on 5amps,,should prob get it down to 2amps for a longer recharge so the battery doesnt heat upp
Hello, I have this copter frame and I like your setup very much. Please is possible that copter with your motors could carry 2x 5000 4s? I would like to reach flight time more than 20 mins. Thank you very much.
+Pavel Spacek Yes. These motors definitely have the neccacery power reserve to carry a second battery. Moreover you can use 14 inch props. But you can check it on ecalc if you want to.
Man, that's a very beautiful setup! I really like it! I am agree the zenmuse is really awesome! You maybe need to use a Lens on your Gopro for eliminating the props shadows in your footages but i am sure you will take care of that ;) Considering the weight, the motors and props used, it's really a very nice machine, i am pretty sure if you could use more big props you will maybe win some minutes with your flight time but so far so good! Looking forward to the first footages even the footages showned at the end look familiar :p You maybe have a little mistake in your video title with ironman spelling ;) Enjoy your sunday
ABMNS PRODUCTION Yes... I am already looking for a lens fo rmy gopro :D I think I will take a look on bigger props, as you said. Sadly ecalc means that I will not get more flightime (about 0.1 minutes more...). But I will give it a try^^ Oh and thanks for the tip with the wrong title :)
MpxFlyer Not surprised actually, the 3508 are not endurance motors but bodybuilding ones lol Trully made for lifting big fat machines! Good luck anyway and enjoy your fantastic rig :)
Slow forward flight (about 6 m/s) will actually increase your flight times by about 5% compared with a static hover. 12 m/s is about the same as hover and anything over starts to really burn through the power. I specialize in long distance flights and find 12 m/s is the optimum speed for extreme distance.
ironman 650 w/ Tiger 4014 -400kv tiger opto esc 35amp-45ampmax using 15 inch tarot folding props- 6S 5000mah power is great power for the ironman 650, The most power you can use. Outstanding performance. 15 min fly time w 3pound payload. Very fast perfect balance.
Was it worth to build that drone instead of buying RTF one? I guess it's more expensive comparing to e.f. DJI Phantom 3 S?
Hello,

Thanks for your answer...
+paul hochon I designed it by myself.
nice!! so how do you like those motors? also what props are you running? I'm building a heavy lift x8 that I'm planning to use 4s.
***** These motors are awesome. extremly smooth and good bearings as well... I am using just these cheap hobbyking CF props.
Hi, what weight you have fully ready to fly? I also have a tarot 650 with 620kv+1255 props and 4000mah lipos and it flies for only 9 minutes...

Could you fix the link to the video you shot with it? The annotation isn't showing up, so if I click "CLICK HERE" nothing happens.
+fallingwater it should be working now!
Could you say if frame size is enough for 15" props ?
what is the alarm voltage you set? and what is the voltage just before you landed?
+Patea Chongthu 3s ~10,5V 4s ~14,0V
+MpxFlyer thanks

+Pavel Spacek I am only using one 4S 5800mah so I think it would be possible to get 20min with two packs!
so do you think that there is reserve of power to carry second battery...
thank you:-)

thank you:-)
Com os motores de 360kv e bateria 6s lipo vai pra 25min podendo chegar a 35min de voo. Da pra sibir mais pra uma média de 55min com lítio 6S.
Is it possible to get your GAINS settings for this setup

what is the weight of quadcopter?
15 mins a tad misleading, yes hovering but in the real world how long is your flight times ??
In real world I do also have flighttimes of around 15min!

Kotik, what is de best configuration for an controlled descent? (m/s)
What are your GAINS settings and Motor Idle Speed?
Sorry I do not own this quad anymore. But I do not think that I changed anything.
+MpxFlyer What setup do you have now for aerial photography?
phantom 4
very clean. Mine looks like a frankencopter
... nice rig :-) How much is the TOW of this configuration?
hotliner Thanks! I am not quite sure but I think it is about 2150g
Thanks! :-)
