    Thanks Fred🐲👍🏻
    Well done Randy Edelman
I've seen the movie a few times, except the sequels.
Research: Imaginative adventure film embellished with special effects, which allow the dragon to "live" for real. In the original version his voice is by Sean Connery, in Italian by Gigi Proietti.
Kara: A beautiful and courageous peasant girl who seeks revenge on Einon for killing her father, the leader of the rebels who caused the death of the previous king. Dina Meyer was the second actress Cohen interviewed for the role. Cohen stated that he needed an actress who was "strong and someone who could, ultimately, handle a pair of Viking axes herself and look believable."
The film has been shot in Slovakia since 1994 in Spiš Castle.
Sean Connery not only voiced the character of Draco, but also gave the dragon facial expressions.
Critics praised the premise, visual effects, and character development, but considered the script confusing and clichéd.
In the same year as the film's release, a video game of the same name was released, developed by Torus Games and published by Acclaim Entertainment for Game Boy. The title is a point-and-click graphic adventure in which the player plays as Sir Bowen who will have to defeat the various fire-breathing dragons he will encounter along the way. A literary transposition by Charles Edward Pogue was taken from the film's screenplay. The Dragonheart book in Italy was published by Sperling & Kupfer.
Matthew Feitshans, head writer of the last two films, stated during the production of the third film, that the plan was to keep the momentum with the series and hopes, to bring a remake of the original film.

“Dragonheart” (1996) is the fantastic tale about the days of the last dragon slayer (Dennis Quaid) and the last dragon (voiced by Sean Connery) on earth. In the end, both have to team up and sacrifice a lot to stop evil king Einon (David Thewlis) with his tyranny.
Being this imaginative tale, a lot of effort was put into the production of it. Director Rob Cohen took the job seriously and oversaw every aspect, every frame in the making (of the dragon-effects) by the team of ILM, the production studio behind Jurassic Park (1993). The result is a “serious” outcome, which gained the praise of critics and audiences alike.
Praised also is the musical score by Randy Edelman, of which especially the main theme became a beloved track outside the movie. Enjoy!

Draco is one of my favorite dragons. The CGI still looks good almost 30 years later, and Sean Connery did a great job.
