Greman shepherds are the most beautiful and sweet and cute and caring and loving and smart and intelligent and loyal dogs ever and I honestly love them so much
BLESSINGS FOREVER for SAVING LIVES! I ALWAYS have RESCUE ANIMALS and NEVER GET ANIMALS FROM BREEDERS! NO OFFENCE TO ANIMALS! I LOVE RESCUE ANIMALS AND THANK YOU FOR ALL WHO SAVE HELPLESS ANIMALS FROM SHELTERS! EVEN I LOVE LUCY AND LIKE I SAID NO ANIMALS FAULT! SORRY DIDN'T MEAN TO YELLING! LOL
OMG SAME! I currently have a rottweiler cross border collie and she is absolutely AMAZING! However she is about 9 years old now and we know that she'll likely pass in a few years time. My family and I have always loved german shepherds so we are considering adopting a rescue one when the time comes
They say german shepherds only shed once a year, for 365 days at a time.... I really love GSDs. My heart is still broken from losing my last girl, but they have the most amazing personalities. I don't need to tell you all this.. I'm sure you know...
hi zak i agree fully with you about selecting a german shep it is better to take your time to get the right dog and not rush in to get the first one you see thank you mate hope all well
There ARE no guarantees! I got a registered puppy from a good breeder for 499 dollars, and he got hip dysplasia. Heartbreaking. My son got Toby for me. I can't get over his loss.
$499???? Man, inflation has really increased. I bought our Ruby for $800 from a non registered breeder. If I could have afforded another one, I would have bought at least one of her sisters.
haha She normally sits up and It looks really cool but she was tired after a big day of adventures the day before so I just let her rest. I used a type of position training.
Looking forward to you announcing your decision on your next dog and the sport you choose to go with. It would be great if you were in a position to provide us with videos of this next venture. Thanks again.
Hey thanks Rob. We are really excited. I will do a video series on our journey of developing a protection dog. This will be a challenge and leaning curve but so exciting
Should be fine get a female. They are much softer and laid back and bonds very good with the whole family. Labrador maybe harder or badly abused ones are much worse to train out of the habits.
The most important thing is training. I've had mixed breeds, tenterfield terrier, border collie, Groodle. I found the groodle was the best temperament. So a labby or a golden retriever would be good breeds, too. Any dog can be susceptible to illnesses, my older past dogs had it later in their lives. I just got a 7 month old GSD and they are very active dogs and need to be trained well. So far, if you have the time and patience, having a dog is a commitment regardless of their breed. I currently own a cat, birds and dogs.
I might rescue a newfoundland but the shelter i might be getting it from has a german shepard so if i don't get the newfoundland I will try to get the German shepard
Her face is like, “I need a nap, but I’m going to be here for you dad!” The ears go back like horns curling on the ends, and the eyebrows move much less. She’s a good girl.
I LOLOL 'd when you said that you only have 3 brain cells. I think you have a few more than that man. I still love your Lucy Lane sjr is great and if you love our GSD's the hair factor is not a problem eh! Keep up the good clips 😎
I truly think you bored Miss Lucy to sleep she was like ya ya ya blah blah blah lol and yes they leave so much hair everywhere but thats ok just part of living with and loving the sweet fur baby's no matter how much i clean i know there will be more hair to clean up again , we love our sweet GS boy and no home is truly a home with out a sweet fur baby take care ....stay safe ....
haha consideration yes, we are still a while away yet but I am very keen to get into PSA. Mals are dominating the PSA world in Australia so if you can't beat them, join them haha. I'll be sending you voice messages like crazy for moral support and advice. I'd say there is no one better for the job. ☺

Is gsd good for first time owners?
Yes if you educate your self around the breed and promise to put in all the work required for this dog. If you cannot commit to this then its a no.
I am confused between adopting a GSD Considering a 4 year old daughter at home...? Plz guide .! Everyone suggests for adopting a Labrador .!
Should be fine get a female. They are much softer and laid back and bonds very good with the whole family. Labrador maybe harder or badly abused ones are much worse to train out of the habits.
See my reaction
@@nihonkokusai any rescue dog breed can be an issue with children. Gsds aren't magically softer to children than labs.

I think it will come down to the temperament of the GSD and the work you're willing to put in with both dog and daughter.
Very keen to know which German Shepherd line you choose. I know the
What breeder did you get her from? She’s gorgeous
Hi Lucy girl!
i,m gonna get my first german shepherd puppy more soon
One of the best dog breeds ❤️❤️ but the queen 👑 is different love }3

She is a good baby girl...so patient. She is obviously not interested in being a camera star..

You know when a gsd has his tongue half way out he is having a good time!
All breeds suffer from Hip dysplasia some are bad and some are not its early or late.......
I agree nearly all breeds do. But as we know gsds are extremely prone
@@Lucythegermanshepherd when are they going to breed straight backs instead of sloping hips.....
Funny Do what I Say not what I do
Sure
These all seem to be common sense, aka common knowledge.
Thanks for your input
