This particular synth sound seems to be Jindo's signature sound for Ys X, and what a great choice. Anyone who follows Jindo on Twitter knows he has a great fondness for older VGM, and this throwback-style synth is just perfect.
@@waypastlame Goddamn, you're right. Started the song and closed my eyes and let it whisk me away. Such a chill guitar song, thank you so much for making me discover it.
this one gives me strong "The dawn of ys" vibes, surely one of the best tracks in the game imo if not the best one, not that there's much competition...
it may be premature but I think this is my fav Jindo song period now (Infinity Rage in 2nd place) and probably in my top 15 Falcom songs in general alongside a bunch of Unisuga works
@@Choops6969 I'm also a disgrace who's only played the canon games (minus 10 as of pre-nisa release). The original versions of 3, 4, and 5 WILL be completed eventually tho
I'm not actually a huge fan of this kind of synth, just a personal taste thing, but hey, I'll take any Jindos I can at this point. Good stuff. edit: ok as it usually happens every time I say this, it's growing on me with every listen.
@@waypastlame Yeah I started listening to Falcom stuff with Oath in Felghana so that probably colored my tastes with regards to their music lol (and especially Jindo's tracks). I can still appreciate its quality though.
I used to think games nowadays were ass for trying to make their OSTs imitate big budget movies with generic orchestra scores. (FFXV, and XVI are the only good exceptions tho) But the current Ys games, Trails, Yakuza and others like TMNT: Shredder's Revenge will continue to make videogame music sound catchy and headbang-worthy.

His arrangement of the Sorcerian's Ending 2 is the peak of music

I wish the whole OST had this direction. This is pure, classic Ys distilled. Give me more of that sweet PC Engine synth Jindo!
🙏🙏🙏
Jindo is a man that clearly always understands the assignment
if only Falcom was good at grading his papers
peak ys soul right here!!!!! happy to finally have the full track :')
also fitting how oldschool this feels considering this game is very early in the timeline
Classic! I love the retro feel to this song!
It's like Yonemitsu's back. Sends shivers down my spine 😩
True it reminds me Yonemitsu! ;)
This picture gives me some feeling of Ys 6. Back then, I read the whole prologue story before playing the game.
This artwork is amazing
SOUL, RAW, PEAK, KINO.
Simply amazing, Jindo delivers every time.
Jindo capturing how a Ys track should be, a brilliant and creative work of art
this one gives me strong "The dawn of ys" vibes, surely one of the best tracks in the game imo if not the best one, not that there's much competition...
This song reminds me from Heartbeat Shaker from YS IX and this song is totally rocking awesome.
Best song so far. Makes me almost re-imagine better times.
i touch miners
80s fusion synth lead, i love it. reminds me of t-square
Classic ys sound pc engine hell yeah lets go falcom you win 👏👏👏
Banger music
Omg, this one gives off early ys vibes. I LOVE IT
JINDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO👑🐐
Fuck, this song is way too good. Absolute gigachad Jindo.
it may be premature but I think this is my fav Jindo song period now (Infinity Rage in 2nd place)
and probably in my top 15 Falcom songs in general alongside a bunch of Unisuga works
Might be a tie on my list with Desert of Despair (I miss Momiyama)
this sounds like it's from dawn of ys. therefore, it is a good.
I can't tell if this one is ironic, but it's actually so true. Dawn has such an unreasonably good soundtrack LOL
@@waypastlame yeah that arvin hasnt even finished. sussy baka (unironic)

Jindo knows whats up
Damn I can almost taste the Celceta music coming from this track. Good af food right here.
Celceta 2012 is the perfect transition of Classic Ys and Modern Ys. Too bad we didn't got another banger track like that.
JINDO-SAMA... I KNEEL!!!!!
Inevitable struggle
P E R F E C T I O N
This music is the best of 62

@mimic-666 thank u mimic 666
One of the best works of YuKINGhiro JinGOAT 🧎🧎🧎🧎
Crazy!!!!!
My favourite song in this game. Classic flavour.

It feels like the PC Engine stuff. I love every second of it lol

true its too wimpy to be a lead tbh
i finished the game, you only hear this on a tiny island that you barely stays on, such a waste
:|
Another Heartbeat Shaker moment
This does play a second time in-game. If you leave Karnack toward the lighthouse during the epilogue, this track plays on the field
@@loganperes2515 It can be heard a third time during the last friendship dialogue with Dogi.
jindo is the only one who gets it... soul...
👶💙🔥🕊️
2:35 😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩
I like this song a lot but am I the only one who feels the snare sounds a bit wimpy? It's much punchier in the Ending 2 theme.
Drums are a bit more discreet here, yes. To make more room for the all the synths I assume
not as good as cloaca maxima tho
You are right Is better
