I liked the greater abundance of mech battles in IV, but outside of the Rivalries, none of those can compare to trashing the three Aions and the Dark Dragon
The fight against Allan was pretty action packed in CS IV. And I loved how they surprisingly included this awesome soundtrack for it :-) got me really pumped!
@@JRPGforlife I can see why you might think that, but I prefer IV. Not only are there minor tweaks and improvements to the gameplay (such as balancing Rean's Arcane Gale, giving you a max BP of 7 instead of 5, balancing Orders, the list can go on), it also has a much more present story (it kinda has to, given that it's the back half of the story started in III). And then there's the tiny detail of it taking the spot of my favorite game of all time (a position previously held by Tales of Symphonia ever since I was in 5th Grade). A decision reached before I even finished the game, mind you (it was made after finishing that little chapter in between Act 1 and Act 2). Though the ending would certainly have been reason enough if I hadn't been convinced already
@@8-bitsarda747 CS4 had some story issues for me and it destroyed some things which were executed and set up very well in CS3 like "potential deaths" for one example won't say anymore in case someone reading this didn't finish CS3. But CS4 did have some epic moments like intermission chapter, pantagruel meeting , finale and I enjoyed the rivalry fights. Gameplay is alot better and balanced I agree but overall my main issue with CS4 is the story direction which is not good imo that's why I still highly prefer CS3. But I respect your opinion, CS4 did do a good job in it's part to wrap up the majority of Erebonia's story i'm saying this because I've yet to play Hajimari
@@JRPGforlife I actually don't mind the "potential deaths" for a few reasons. The first being, even with knowledge of what happens in IV, the scenes still hit really hard. All the characters react in a very human way, especially those three up there, and the shadow of that failure to see it coming, or do anything to protect the four from the ending, hangs over the entire first two acts of IV. There's a reason that the tone of IV becomes a lot more hopeful after the end of Act 2 (okay, that's not the only reason Act 3 is a lot more hopeful, but it's still a reason). The second reason, and perhaps the biggest, is because it humanizes, and adds depth to, the person responsible. Yeah, the depth is kind of cheesy in a very cliché way, but more character depth is better than less character depth, most of the time at least. And I don't blame you for not playing Reverie yet, I haven't either, as I'm not very keen on learning Japanese just to play games a couple years early. Also, I've grown rather attached to the English cast, and I don't want to ditch them for the Japanese cast
I can't stop imagining Valimar dancing with ordine to this beat.
美しすぎるこの曲.....
Rean and Valimar sure know how to throw down a party!
like in that other video bring your own divine knight
When they don't get interrupted
CS4 Finale Side Quest Spoiler:
Saving Warrant Officer Alan!
Rean + Patrick vs Alan + Zauber Soldats
Hell yeah, Valimar even gets his old tachi back for the fight
I loved this side quest. Made me realize that I wished Patrick was playable as a guest more.
この曲大好き!毎日聴いてるよ

It’s that my next fight will be a cakewalk
Heed my call, Valimar!
So.... they're calling in their trump cards...
This early..? Well, might as well have some fun ourselves.
Can you extend this to about 30 minutes?
Excuse me, but can you upload the theme "Abrupt Visitor" extended to RUclips?
