As a general opinion to the live version, I still prefer the final version, better structure for the song overall, although, I really like the extended instrumental transitions of the live one, wished that the final cut had them. As for the recreation, sound great, I know that the voice it's still far for an ai model to do a clear extract of it, so, yeah, sounds weird, but the instrumentals came amazing, great work from MigalFredGuitar, very interested on any other works/recreations of him
I prefer the live version slightly more, I feel like the transitions between the "you and me together" bit are smoother and I love the more laid back approach since it gives me the most wintery vibe, I agree with the good work from Migal, he's really talented and he has done some other weezer songs, he's really talented so make sure to subscribe to him if you haven't!
@snispy yeah the part of you and me together sounds amazing in the live version, damn, how I'd love to hear alternate versions of SZNZ as a whole. I can't stop listening since Spring came out.
@@snispyThere really needs to be a remastering of all 4, with more harmonies and backup vocals from Brian and Scott. Rivers does too many backing vocals on too many songs (All of Summer, Should She Stay, Run Raven Run, etc)
@trupizza671 Agreed, summer to me felt like a solo rivers project and it suffered from that imo would love to see a remastered summer and winter autumn was ok, it's where they listened to complaints and added some Brian vocals
slightly off sync vocals, vocal quality is still pretty bad, mixing is pretty bad, and that's all obviously pretty reasonable faults considering what you were working with I hope one day I get to listen to a good quality remake of this, it'd easily be my favorite weezer song
Yeah ik it's not the best 😅 I did my best considering I've never done this before, if I had to change anything I'd make some of the guitar quieter while making some vocals a bit louder, I tried my best on syncing but the pace of the instrumentation is off ever so slightly combined with how rivers drags out some words made it hard to do, I might keep trying to work with other songs and see if I can improve
