I thought it was a nice touch of realism that Johnny was in pain after that first kick considering he's middle aged drinks alot and hasn't practiced regularly in years it was also hilarious 😂😅
He broke his toe and just continued the scene

That’s what made it most realistic, considering Johnny was coming out of a 30+ year retirement from karate.

I wish more fight scenes in this series were like this: wider shot with a lot less cutting between actions. It helps show the true talent of all these actors when you do that.

Yeh you can tell that the fighting scenes have taken a bit of step backwards in terms of editing and capturing

The scene that started (well in this instance of Karate Kid/Cobra Kai continued) it all😢.
Imagine if this was Johnny saving Daniel from Kreese, Silver and Barns in Karate kid part III

The only hit kyler landed was a behind the back cheap shot but instantly got countered

There is no world where a bunch of cops would roll up on a bunch of kids and a middle aged man in a fight and think the guy was the one causing trouble

Well he was clearly choking Kyler when they rolled up and the other dudes were on the floor with their asses kicked lol
Now Miguel stood up for Kyler and now they more or less friends
