On the subject of how many golf balls to carry, for years I must have had 20 golf balls in my bag and there were two reasons for doing that. First, I didn't want to have to fool around restocking my bag after every round because I wasn't playing often enough, nor was I good enough to care or worry about it. Second, I kept a sandwich bag of 3 or 4 'junk' balls or found balls that I would use on water holes, in case I put my drive into the water. My game improved vastly over the past 2 seasons, to the point that I didn't have to carry junk balls anymore but I still like to keep more than enough, for the same reason as before. I just don't always have time to check how many I have before playing because I often go out at the last minute. Just one man's opinion :)

They blast one OB and then don’t have another ball with them for a provisional…which results in either them asking me “Do you have a ball?” Or they need to walk back to their cart for a ball. Very good points, and basically what I carry with the exception of carrying 9 balls versus 6.I don't normally lose balls except on water holes so I want at least one sleeve more.. My bag is also a 6 way top .Thing is I only carry 11 clubs .Other than that I arrange things for convience with my tee's, 1 or 2 balls, my divot tool and ball marker in the upper small side pocket. There is a large compartment that runs the length of the bag for a light jacket, and a pouch with my keys, wallet and phone .Pens and pencils have a small space as does a place for water. My golf balls and gloves have their own compartment as well.
As to the clubs, they go in order with 2 clubs in each sleeve with the putter and retriever in the bottom compartment.

Great video as always, but one minor point. Unless it is winter and your course has a buggy/trolley ban, the best way to play is with a trolley. You get your exercise BUT you save your back. How many golfers who carry see their games drop off over the final few holes due to a stiff back or general fatigue. A trolley, either push/pull or electric gives the best option.
    You don'
t see pro golfers carrying do you!

I typically take 9, my home course where I’m at now is devoid of any water so I don’t have to worry about hitting into those ball magnets so I may roll with 6 usually now. If I’m playing with a friend who’s a relative novice I’ll take several more, maybe 9-12 in case they happen to lose one and instead of them searching endlessly for a lost ball, lose all their balls or have to rely on a random found ball that could be scuffed or beat up, I’ll toss them an old but fresh out of the box Nike Mojo ball that was my go to ball for the longest time so there’s no mistaking a ball I gave them for one of my Pro V1’s

Hey Mr. Short Game what gives? On your review of best carry bags you picked Mizuno and Ping was second place. What happened?

Instead of carrying several dozen wooden Tees, I like to use plastic Tees which never break and can be used for dozens and dozens of rounds of golf and I really like the plastic "Martini" Tees which some have a ridge for the perfect height of the Driver- They never break and the only way you'll need more is if you lose it in the Tee box area or if you forget it and leave it in the ground...I carry 2 or 3 Tees and it takes up no space in my bag...

I could not agree more about your theory on needing more than 6 balls! If you’re losing that many, play 9 holes or FIND what you need!😮

Hey Matt. I thought the Ping Hoofer was one of the bags you were giving away. Did you end up keeping the Mizuno K1-Lo or did you change your mind?. I’m in the process of shopping for a carry bag.

Hello. Maybe you can help me. I'm looking for a new stand bag for this season. Problem is that I also often use it on a Jucad/Justar e-trolley. And most stand bags do not have a secure hold on these trolleys. Do you have any recommendations? I really only use my cart bag in bad weather and competition conditions. Otherwise, I would prefer a light stand bag for training and private laps. So a bag that sits stably on a Jucad/Justar trolley. Of course, a stand bag with a battery pocket would be perfect. But that would probably still be a thing of the future at the moment. The Bigmax stand bags have some space at the top for a support on the trolley. But unfortunately these don't fit on mine.

Hi -- what about making a video on why you use glove and why anyone should use a glove. I play without a glove, hav no calluses, and, considering that grips are "grippy" those days still have not understood why gloves are really necessary...

I like carrying as little as possible, I only carry 7 clubs, I just can't get to the no glove Club, I've tried, it's just easier to take a light grip with the glove on. I've tried Gorilla Grip, it's good stuff, but kinda nasty when shaking hands 🤣
