For POP/Rock use ONLY Studio (Not any Chamber - recorded in koncert hall). Use CSS or Spitfire Studio (Spitfire Studio Strings - forgotten but really good sounding dry library - perfect for mix with rock instruments)

Tokyo Scoring Strings is my favorite for pop and rock mostly cause was one of the reasons the release that product

I guess it depends on what kind of pop or rock you're making, but I like Nocturn as a solo violin for R&B and Tokyo Scoring Strings was basically designed for rock (because of Anime soundtracks). So those might be cool too.
