Loving your composition, can't wait to hear the finished product. The terminology used for strings is also used in choral arrangements (I'm a beginner arranger). Thanks for another informative video.
Great little piece. It's more of a challenge when you've got a string patch instead of a more fancy plugin but with a bit more care and patience and working arrangements around it it can work. I should go for something fancier eventually though.
Would love to hear how the orchestra melody complements the lead vocal melody. Writing a part for instruments that serves the voice well seems to be the hardest part for me.
thank you SO much for this tutorial, I learned so much!!!! but please, next time can you turn off the click sound? my adhd ass had to rewatch the part where you were playing the demo like 5x cause my brain kept shutting off dlskfjsdfj but thank u again for the amount of info and the well presented tutorial. people like me who cant afford to go to music school and learn everything by themselves thank u endlessly
Great explanation brother. I always get confused when its time to mix, plugins, spacial, etc. My hearing is not so great in the far upper levels. I will see if you have anything on video like that.. Thanks for going the extra mile..Dave
Looking forward to hearing the completed piece. One of my favorite examples of distribution of melodic presentation is Percy Grainger's arrangement of "Irish Tune From County Derry" (a.k.a. "Danny Boy"). He's a master. I first heard it when I was a substitute teacher for a high school band class. The arrangement is so wonderful that even amateur players can bring it to life. You literally hear the melody and countermelodies physically moving across the sections. This is for a wind band. He also composed a version for orchestra. ruclips.net/video/Bu8CtQwIyoA/видео.html
he said on one video that this year the formula will be different - each week there will be a guest on channel. Graham is focusing on something else. He is doing the most anyway
that honestly sounds so beautiful. i could get used to listening and singing to these types of tracks
The James Bond production was EXCELLENT - Very cool, very professional. Great Job. You def know your stuff!!

That was nice. Sounds like it could be a scene from Westworld too.

Beautiful piece. Allow me to convince him to check out “Sunset Strings” by Realitone. 🙏🏾
At last I can hear the "Unison" word for something interesting and not that annoying Ad :D
Very nice but that metronome is very disturbing 😬
What's up, Ryan ?✊
Looking forward to hearing the completed piece.

Graham, how are you feeling? How are you?
Nice video, but, please, next time turn off the metronome. In the quieter parts it overpowered the music.
The subtitle display was not set. Sorry
The video starts on 1:38
Can you share the notes of that final chord?
I think its a C#m7 with a 6, a b5 and a 2
@@Mani-uc5cc nice!!! I like that. Thanks!
Skyfall
You just need to get a white cat.
What happened to Graham? Did he retire? I know he was making a lot of dough but wow.
he said on one video that this year the formula will be different - each week there will be a guest on channel. Graham is focusing on something else. He is doing the most anyway
@@simong8527 Thank you, i must have missed that video. It is cool that he has different people on though.
