On a serious note, this really goes to show how fake Islamic history is. If the first pillar of Islam doesn't even come from Mohammad (which is clearly doesn't or there wouldn't be all of those variations), then what confidence can we have in ANY hadith coming from Mohammad? and without the hadith, there is no Islam as we know it. If Allah really meant God, then the shahada would read, lā ʾilāha ʾillʾilāha, which would be redundant, and in my opinion, not very smart. Allah does not mean God. It's a name of a specific deity, and NOT of the one in the Bible.

However, the telling of the same stories many times in different words in different collections (and sometimes the same collection) makes me think there is a bit more to it than the stories were all made up late for political purposes. Keep at it with the videos IC. There is a lot being revealed about the early origins of Islam and it is nothing like we have been told. Most of it is made-up during the Abbasid Caliphate. Islam was invented for political expediency. It is coming to light that proto-Islam likely had its origins in Persia during the reigns of Khosroes II and Yazdegerd III as a counter to their enemy, the Trinitarian Byzantines. It evolved from Ebionitism and the Nazarites, which have many similarities. Emmet Scott tells about it in his book "The Impact of Islam".

God in Arabic is "ilaha" not allah, you can only refer to God by your lord, so when you say allah you're referring not for a universal God but to a specific supposedly god, which is in fact the polytheist god of the Moon also Muhammad's father was "Abdullah", so Muhammad is the prophet of the Moon god, also on Quran 53:19-20, refers to same lineage of polytheist gods like al-Lat and al-'Uzza and And Manat, so in Islam you have 4 polytheist gods and not just one, hence the multiple verses of the Quran starting with "We"

Unrelated to the video topic. But I've been wandering about the rare times Allah refers to himself in the 1st person singular in the Qur'an, (outside of quoting other characters). Qur'an 2:160, 2:187,15:49, 20:14, 20:82, 21:92, 86:16. I can't find any obvious pattern to these sayings which would explain the difference, can you shed some light? Anyway thank you for your content I have personally found it very helpful with outreaching to Muslims.

It now seems clear that the whole of the Islamic 'Muhammad' is a fiction and it really is the opposite of Hebrew names. Hebrew names were made from phrases about God. Muhammad is a confusion of a phrase "the blessed one" for a personal name. It is not a name: it is a title. In some places it refers not to the fictional 'Muhammad' of Islam but is referring to a ruler wanting to say that he is blessed and has the sanction of God to rule. In other places it refers to Jesus as the 'blessed one ' who is the True seal of the prophets in the fulfillment of the law.
If the hadiths are post-Muhammad concoctions, where does that leave anti-Islamic argument that uses them as evidence ? The question cannot fairly be avoided. One can accept the traditional Sunni account, hadiths, and dates, and argue from it that Mohammed was a fake whose doctrine is absurd and inconsistent - or one can accept the more sceptical “revisionist” account, and argue that the entire traditional chronology, the hadiths, koran, and Sira are (in part or entirely) later inventions, or else may pre-date Mohammed. What one cannot do, is combine both approaches.

The hadith is mentioned to reinforce that when one finds a partial statement of faith in the Islamic texts, one cannot assume that it is shorthand for the whole.

It is equally morally wrong for a 54-year-old man to have sex with a 9-year-old girl whether Mohammad actually did it or some other sick person attributed it to Mohammad. A religion that teaches such things is false.

You do know that Shahada isn't in the Quran in a single sentence? The purpose of Shahada itself is to simplify the 'criteria' of being a Muslim and represents the gist of what the Quran proclaims. There can be variations in how the Shadaha is structured, as they were written in different languages and at different times. Not to forget, they were written by people and not the God.

Hadith and the Quran alone are to be referred to when such a claim is being made. The hadith mentioned in the start of the video lacks the prophet part as again, there isn't a standardized shahada as its not in the Quran or the hadith. The shahada is used for simplification, just like how the concept of Trinity was devised later to simplify the Triune God.

This doesnt prove anything peculiar about the shahadah. Youre just going round and round in circles.... Just because one part of the shahadah is written somewhere and both parts in another place doesnt prove anything. Its a testimony at the end of the day. That some serious research right there. I looked into a Samaritan Shahadah from the 4th century as a possible inspiration but it was inconclusive that it might be that the Samaritans mimicked Islam over the centuries.

However, the telling of the same stories many times in different words in different collections (and sometimes the same collection) makes me think there is a bit more to it than the stories were all made up late for political purposes. Excellent Video Islam Critiques, but if you look closely to the expression "lā 'ilaha 'illāl-lāh an Muhammadur rasūlu llāh" which translates on "There is no god but God." God in Arabic is "ilaha" not allah, you can only refer to God by your lord, so when you say allah you're referring not for a universal God but to a specific supposedly god, which is in fact the polytheist god of the Moon also Muhammad's father was "Abdullah", so Muhammad is the prophet of the Moon god, also on Quran 53:19-20, refers to same lineage of polytheist gods like al-Lat and al-'Uzza and And Manat, so in Islam you have 4 polytheist gods and not just one, hence the multiple verses of the Quran starting with "We"

Unrelated to the video topic. But I've been wandering about the rare times Allah refers to himself in the 1st person singular in the Qur'an, (outside of quoting other characters). Qur'an 2:160, 2:187,15:49, 20:14, 20:82, 21:92, 86:16.
I can't find any obvious pattern to these sayings which would explain the difference, can you shed some light?

It now seems clear that the whole of the Islamic 'Muhammad' is a fiction and it really is the opposite of Hebrew names. Hebrew names were made from phrases about God. Muhammad is a confusion of a phrase "the blessed one" for a personal name. It is not a name: it is a title. In some places it refers not to the fictional 'Muhammad' of Islam but is referring to a ruler wanting to say that he is blessed and has the sanction of God to rule. In other places it refers to Jesus as the 'blessed one ' who is the True seal of the prophets in the fulfillment of the law.

You do know that Shahada isn't in the Quran in a single sentence? The purpose of Shahada itself is to simplify the 'criteria' of being a Muslim and represents the gist of what the Quran proclaims. There can be variations in how the Shadaha is structured, as they were written in different languages and at different times. Not to forget, they were written by people and not the God.

The hadith mentioned in the start of the video lacks the prophet part as again, there isn't a standardized shahada as its not in the Quran or the hadith. The shahada is used for simplification, just like how the concept of Trinity was devised later to simplify the Triune God.
