I like a lot of Hawaiian music, especially slack-key guitar, and some wonderful singers, and Gabby is definitely in the second category; his voice and style is so distinctive and expressive-he sounds like his soul is in every song he sings! What an amazing musician, and even though he is gone, he remains as strong an influence today as ever, and we are blessed by hearing his voice's refrains and guitar work as any who have ever heard it before.
