- Balls Falls Conservation Area offers 2 beautiful waterfalls with a SECRET PATH to the lower falls! See both huge waterfalls from close proximity.
The conservation area is also used for weddings & family gatherings since the Ball family has maintained its 19th century industrial hamlet atmosphere featuring the Ball family home, a black smith shop, an operating flour mill, a church & much more!
Another beautiful Ontario hiking trail

Wow, the falls look great! When I was there the water level was very low due to a hot dry start to the summer. Nice to see them in their full glory. Great video!
Oh yea it’s a huge difference in the spring and fall. My first time here before I recorded anything the falls were huge
Thank you for the great video revealing the path... i always want to get to the bottom of water falls and experience the great air quality and sound - and negative ion shower! One note: please please leave wild animals alone!
Thanks for the comment! Really appreciate you taking the time to watch. Sorry about that. But when I see an animal sometimes my inner child comes out 😳
I see it is wonderful the nature and the rivers the excellent landscape continues like this success in all friend

Thank you. This was Awsome!!
Oh, I decided to go hiking there tomorrow. This place and falls are so beautiful. I think I will enjoy my hiking. Thank you so much for showing the access point to the bottom of the falls. I am not sure if I can get there but I will try. +1🌺🌺🌺
Great video. I was there yesterday, too your route, then went to Twenty Valley Trail, right after lower falls. You get a good view of Twenty Mile Creek.

Thank you, glad you enjoyed it!
Just discovered your channel and am really glad I did! I hope to do some hiking in Southern Ontario this summer and your videos will be a big help. Thanks for sharing!👍👍
But on a side note, sick video. Loved when you got super close to the water fall. Hahah those two frogs made me laugh.
Thanks man! me too, definitely get more interesting when you see things you don't expect
@@DiscoveryHiking Thats why I always try to encourage people to push and see whats around the next bend.
@@VarmintHunters exactly! I feel sorry for those who aren't curious enough to go farther
Waw! I should go there… new friend here
Wow that's really nice water falls and secret passage way. what was that a Beaver? And 2 frogs giving it lol
Nice hike! Greetings from Atlanta!! What settings are you using on your GoPro8? Just subbed #80!
Thanks man, I was using 1080/60 but wasn’t too happy with it so just started using 4K/30 hoping it’s a little better
@@DiscoveryHiking My GoPro8 defaulted to old settings but I like to shoot at 4K 60 FPS to get better quality when compressing the files. There is a ton of hiking / places to explore on my channel that might interest you. Would love to hear your feedback! See you on the trails! Cheers!!
Balls Falls😂
Unfortunately its not the same as it used to be as water levels have dropped so much we used to jump off the tops of the upper falls but it is no longer safe. also it looked pretty bad compared to usual so you just got unlucky. And there are better trails that you did not show which leaves me to believe that you do not know to much about the area, although you seemed to get around fairly fine. My grandparents live around the corner from there and I went to balls falls camp as a kid so I know the place like the back of my hand.
Sorry for the late reply, but it was actually my first time hiking at that location so I think my knowledge at the time was pretty good. Did what I could with the time I had
Do they allow swimming?
I don’t think it’s recommended but some people do go in
can you cliff jump at lower falls?
I wouldn’t , not sure if it’s deep enough
