Excellent, excellent footage. I loved coming to these falls for a swim and hike a few years back. Interesting how things slightly have changed in only a matter of 4 years. And, thank you for pitching in to help keep it beautiful. Hopefully more people will follow your example. Gorgeous video ❤
As a regular hiker (including all over the Bruce) I just wanted to say thank you for picking up the trash. Agreed 100 percent with the leave no trace rules that people don't seem to respect. With regards to the people saying they swim in these falls, they might want to look up this waterfall's water source... 😬
I can't find a map or anything to get to the actual falls part...I'm worried I will get lost after I leave the dundurn stairs part. I have also never hiked before, wondering if this is a bad idea
How many people realize that this canyon is only 1.5 km from downtown and right in the middle of a metropolitan area of 846 000. I walked into that canyon on a hot July day and Chedoke Falls cooled me right down!!! There needs to be a decent trail for ALL along that canyon to the three waterfalls!
its unfortunate that people leave their garbage there, when i was walking back going along the right side edge (not recommended) the amount of camp fires with cans was disconcerting but good for you for taking the initiative bro! This is a great spot to take people who are not hikers but want to see waterfalls in a short time, it can be a quick trip if you want it to be. I really hope people dont ruin it.
fully agree with you! people not taking care of this free beautiful spot can ruin it for the rest of us. Stupid way to ruin a good thing. thanks for the compliment!
Ir should be open. I climbed right over the fence and went to the falls. It's time that the City opened this up for hikers and tourists alike!!! I don't know what they are afraid of. Build a boardwalk up the trail if necessary
Because it’s pretty much sewage water. It looks clean but has high levels of E.coli. So unless you want some type of infection, it’s better to stay out of it and just enjoy the view lol

Nice video! I am surprised how many people left plastic bottles laying around :\
Mrinmoy Roy Chowdhury me too, can’t believe how ignorant some people can be to the places they love

Thanks for showing the path! We went in the morning so there weren't that many people--navigating the rocks and climbing the lower falls was fun!
No problem! glad you liked it

Wow! wonderful
Hi just curious, how long is the walk to the upper falls from the parking?
cruztheblueoceanjdog it’s roughly about 3 Km’s to reach the upper falls
Hey, what was the exact trail that you followed for all 3 waterfalls?
Thanks !
vd12 There isn’t really an exact trail for all three waterfalls, You have to climb around the first waterfall to reach the other two
Too bad people are so thoughtless. Makes you wonder what their homes look like😣👎. Thank you for sharing but mostly thank you for caring!
I fully agree, hate seeing people disrespect the nature they cake to visit
good job
Where did you start this hike? Which parking lot?
I parked on a side street and started at the dundurn stairs
Went to the first one with my dad then quit. Lol
Hahhaha at least you tried!
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
How come nobody swim
The water isn’t safe for swimming. High levels of E. coli
I thought this place was closed? Lol
You can see in the video it was pretty busy that day
Discovery Hiking yeah I see. great vid btw! I’ll be checking out that place soon! 😁
You’ll love it !

Why is t it safe to swim in the pool under the falls?
Because it’s pretty much sewage water. It looks clean but has high levels of E.coli. So unless you want some type of infection, it’s better to stay out of it and just enjoy the view lol
@@DiscoveryHiking Thanks for letting us know, if sewage water why is it considered a tourist attraction or a nature hike, does it smell there too?
