  • Saebo, a leading provider of affordable, evidence-based rehabilitation products, is pleased to introduce breakthrough wireless, wearable stimulation devices for individuals suffering from shoulder subluxation.
SaeboStim One, a state-of-the-art wireless electrical stimulation device designed to improve motor recovery, strength, and function, delivers electrical signals to the impaired muscles, resulting in a much-needed contraction.
The SaeboStim One is designed to treat clients suffering from shoulder subluxation caused by stroke and other neurological and orthopedic injuries. Shoulder subluxation often occurs soon after injury, as the muscles in the upper arm become weak. If left untreated, this weakness, combined with the weight of the arm, causes the shoulder joint to stretch and eventually separate.
Research has shown that an effective way to improve subluxation is to strengthen the shoulder muscles surrounding the joint. With the help of the SaeboStim One, the sleek and compact device provides adequate stimulation to the targeted area, causing the muscles to contract and lift the arm back into the joint.
The exciting new SaeboStim One can also be used on other parts of the body. The device’s program parameters are clinically designed to improve function, slow down atrophy, and strengthen weakened muscles in both the upper and lower extremities.
The SaeboStim One's simple-to-use, the lightweight controller includes only 1 plug-and-play program, eliminating the guesswork and making it very easy for the client to operate at home.
Other key features include ultra-thin, rotating, flexible electrode wings which are fully adjustable for unlimited positioning options. The specialized wings are also made of a silver-treated conductive surface to provide unmatched quality of stimulation. In addition, the reusable peel-and-stick gel pads are made of high-quality materials, leading to longer-lasting adherence compared to traditional electrodes on the market.
Finally, each device includes a convenient USB cable to recharge the unit as needed.
Our compact, affordable, wireless SaeboStim One makes home therapy easy, as it only takes seconds to set up and get started. To learn more about the SaeboStim One, or to get started on the road to recovery, please visit our website at www.saebo.com

How do I know what strength setting to place it on? Using it on my shoulder

Neil, electrical stimulation intensity depends on what effect you are trying to achieve. If you want to work on electric impulse regulation, turn it up until you feel it or until you can tolerate it . If you want to work on edema, turn it up so you can see the muscle twitching, which improves circulation in the localized area. If you want to work on muscle strength, turn it even higher to get sustained contractions of the muscles, or movement of the limb. - Dr. Scott

Is this device made only for shoulder stimulation? How about arm stimulation?

    • @SaeboInc

Ana, this device can be used on multiple muscles across the entire body, not just the shoulder. It's original design was to make shoulder subluxation treatment easier and shorter, but with versatility in mind.

Can it be used fr footdrop also madam

Here is my answer to another one of your posts. Great question, yes you can! If you are looking to exercise the muscles that help with drop foot, the SaeboStim Go/One can do that very easily. I have a video coming out soon showing how to properly place the SaeboStim One for foot drop. However, if you're wanting to walk and trigger electrical stimulation, I would suggest using the SaeboStim Pro which has NMES like the Stim Go/One but also many more features like the trigger button that allows you to control the stimulation.
