Excellent video Greg. Really enjoyed it.
And I gotta say, Charlie’s enthusiasm is next level. Something he said that really stuck out was at @20:42 when you asked him if the Black breasted Leaf was for advanced keepers etc and he replied “if you really care about doing it right, anyone can do it”. Not only is that a humble thing to say but it is also straight truth.
Again, excellent video. I really enjoyed it. And what I nice operation he has going on.
That stuck with me as well
Thank you!
Beautiful Tortoises and Box-Turtles.. love the setup.
74 to 80 degrees perfect for me. Awesome turtle tortoise room.
Damn, just wow, wow, insane turtle and tortoise collection, insanely clean and organized. Just wow

What a great experience! These are the kinds of habitats most turtle caretakers aspire to create, but seldom match. An excellent educational video!

Wow such an amazing turtle room!!! When I get my ranch I will 100% be taking inspiration from Mr. Moorcroft, Mr. Leoni, and Mr. Pierleoni! I'm so happy that you had the opportunity to visit Mr. Moorcroft Greg, as he seems to be a wealth of untapped knowledge!
This collecter has some unique species. Nice facility.
Thank you
You guys in the US are so happy to have the possibility to keep such interesting turtles! Just an insane collection!
Nice 👌
spotted turtles are so CUTE UGHGHGH
Those spengleri are hillarious little turtles because they remind me of a muppet. There faces are just so funny looking. Awesome collection there. Thanks for sharing it with us.

This is what youtube is all about.
Nice work Greg!
🔆
man i wish we had such variety of turtles and tortoises available here on the island of Mindanao
Enjoy every second of the video. Thanks Greg !
He does such a great job
@@charlie_moorcroft nice setup. I definitely learned something from your Cherryhead and spotted turtle setup !
The Spotted Turtle is absolutely beautiful 👍
Thanks
Absolutely awesome educational video 👀💚🐢👀💚🐢👀💚🐢👀💚🐢
Thanks for watching!
Very very cool, future goals. Gives me lots of ideas for my room.
AWESOME close up shots! Also the enclosures are to die for, oh my gosh! It is so interesting to see all the different species, I'm learning a lot thanks to these videos and I also get inspiration for my Hermann's enclosure.
Greg does an amazing job filming and editing
Spotteds are so laid back. They are fairly common up here in shallow marshy ponds with a lot of aquatic vegetation. When you find a Spotted up here, a Blandings can't be far behind, as they like the same habitat. Blandings have the most tolerance of cold I've seen among turtles. Seeing them under the ice used to be commonplace.
This is amazing bro!!! I some how stumbled across your channel and I'm glad. Good shit 🤙
Man I wanted to see those Greenhouse frogs he was talking about! Its my dream to go to Florida some day and herp. Ive dreamt of it since I was a kid.
they were really tiny and really fast, tried to get a good shot but they disappeared
Eleutherodactylus planirostris
They are tiny
Nice some spotted turtle content! :D
Thanks
Beautiful!
Thanks
Wow his enclosure are impressive!
Thanks
Extremely awesome place
Thank you!
I wish you would take the time to label on screen what the species is. 😊 Sometimes we can hear you and sometimes we can't.
Awesome turtles, sorry I was late today! But I’m getting a Mississippi map turtle this week, thanks for sharing!
Would love to see a build an equipment list for both the egyptian and spengleri setups. An that mccords was amazing looking.
Spengleri enclosures are exo terra or Zilla terrariums
The Egyptian enclosure was custom made.
@@charlie_moorcroft thanks. It all still looks amazing. Wish there was more care vids out there on the spengleri and Chinese box. That was one of the best rooms and care set ups i have seen in the last few yrs.
@@travisduarte4236 Anthony Pierlioni wrote a book on japonica and spengleri that’s worth the read
Wow those spider tortoises are awesome I can’t believe I have never heard of them.
Really cool little tortoises!
Pyxis arachnoides
That was fun
Thanks for watching!
Great video greg. Have you ever thought about working with the european pond turtle. Very cold hardy and stunning.
Very impressive set ups he has with a amazing collection without question. I plan on getting some albino map turtles this year to expand my collection, not sure what else just yet but I would absolutely love to have his set up the spotted turtles in. Greg, We just came back from a week at Hillsborough state park but have scheduled several days next September 30th, on a turtle diving trip at Rainbow River State Park. Blue Springs at Gilchrist (a canoe trip into gennie springs) will most likely occur around March or April . Blue Springs is way easier to reserve a campsite in a short period than Rainbow. That is if you care to join. I am not 100% sure the other springs we will hit up other than Silver Springs but that is more of a family reunion with family coming from every where.
I'm sad bc my 10 year old old snapper just escaped his outdoor enclosure and I can't find him...
I wish I had a collection like this!! Lol I have 4 turtles each different species and I thought that was a lot lol
Stay within your comfort zone and you’ll always have healthy animals
I wonder what the big walk in enclosure is, who makes it.
Cagemaster made that
Thanks for making great content you inspired me to build a turtle pond and get my very own musk turtle
Glad I could help inspire! 👊🏼🐢
I love the black breasted leaf turtles I’m thinking about putting one in with my green tree monitor.
I dont know if thats a good idea. High probability that a curious carnivore like a tree monitor could do so serious damage to a little leaf turtle..
I’m buying a baby tree monitor I don’t think a little one could beat it up.
@@haydenlucas2986 I imagine you know because your getting a monitor but just some friendly keeper advice make sure it's a big cage if your going to keep a cohabit monitor with turtles even some small ones they are very curious and smart n will explore more then you think fucking up anything in there path if there isn't enough space its definitely not the best idea but I have seen this a couple of times in very big cages but ya hope it works out that would be a dope set up good luck
@@snoriethegreat5066 yea it’s gonna be a big cage in ground space it is about the size of a 55 gallon breeder
@@haydenlucas2986 heck ya forsure man I've never had them with anything so I dont want to act like I'm some expert all I know is from experience but if it was me I would keep them separated they are both beautiful creatures on there own but I dont want to be that guy who hopes for bad luck on to another keeper so i hope it works out beautifully for you
wish i could get these spotted turtles in canada and breed them, out native populations are in decline.
Hey Gregg I have a question. Will a hatchling red eared slider eat or bully a mystery snail?
Almost all freshwater turtles will eat or attempt to eat snails, red eared sliders will definitely make it disappear
where does he get the black breasted leaf turtles
There are several people breeding them privately in the US
Wow. What was the red turtle....something japonica?
Geoemyda japonica
If you don’t mind me asking what are u doing for Christmas

Do Charlie have a youtube channel if pls give me the link of his channel
Yes. So far I’m terrible at it. There is one poor quality video. Greg is way more talented than I’ll ever be. Couldn’t be any happier with how this turned outs.
Who is your camera man?
Very talented and tolerant person. 😎
21:50 what's the common name of the turtle?!
Charlie seems to be selective in his use of UVB for the turtles and tortoises. Everything looks super healthy I just didn’t realize it wasn’t a requirement for some species
Living in Florida makes it easy to take the tubs outside almost all year to clean or soak animals. They get a chance to get some rays. Also in my opinion the pellets and commercial diets are pretty complete.
@@charlie_moorcroft Awesome thanks for the reply! You really have a fantastic setup for all your animals. Everything is so well organized and put together.
Lol they cost 200 dollars though, that’s why they aren’t more popular. (Spotted turtles)
Unfortunately they are still poached
@@charlie_moorcroft yea, I was assuming he was speaking on captive bred turtles though.
no turtle/tortoise is a dinosaur. They are a different lineage. Birds ARE dinosaurs. Crocodilians are not dinosaurs either. All three are ancient ineages of tretrapods.
I'm single 😥😥😥😥😥
