Very unique! Seems as though it would have been quite the masterpiece if completed. Something tells me the owner is abroad and is either ill or imprisoned, hence the stall in it’s completion. Not being negative, but who would build a house of it’s magnitude and just stop braps and why????? First to commence the architect and contractors neva charge “quattie” fi build that and material nuh free of cheap! I truly wish the owner eventually gets to enjoy the fruits of his/her labour in a completed ship on land! #IRIE 🇯🇲
I heard that the original owner passed away. It's said that he used to work on the ship, not sure if he was a captain but, can u imagine the cost of such a structure. It's more complete than when I saw it 16+yrs ago, at that time there were only some little tiny windows

The story of this house is that the guy who build it work on a cruise ship for years, unfortunately he does not live in it the Government of Jamaica owns it, I think he is still in Jail or he might be out now. all due to some shady shit he was doing on the Cruise ship he work on....That was what the tour guide said.....

Yes it is a beauty my husband friend own the crown looking house next to it i was there last year took some picture but there is surveillance cameras all over it so we i did not ask any Questions there is also a Mercedes-Benz in the car port i hope they finish it soon.

Seeing the Boat House all the time when I was younger.. my dad would tell me that the man built it for his wife but she ended up killing herself and he later dead...a love story type. #mustsee #jamaicatour

It looks very elegant, but ships are hardly ever docked in a location like this one. Something more is needed. In the right location, or with a more ship-like landscaping, it could be the ship to see.
Why does it seem like this house should have been built the other way around? It does not have a clearly defined front and back. I don't know if I would love to be the neighbour behind this house as it just towers over. Where is the driveway and car port? It's a shame it was never finished. Hopefully they will complete it or sell it to someone who can finish it and not just allow it to fall apart. It is unique and must be quite an attraction for the neighbourhood.

If you look in the beginning gf the video the Pink house located to the right of the home in front of the ship house is my grandmothers and Ive been over there countless times and two weeks ago when I went I finally asked about the abandoned random fucking ship house behind us and she told me that some rich nigga had it built. But he ran out of money before it could be completed and he fuckin killed himself in the crib lmao
