I was impressed though with the brought on shoe wrap machine for dirty feet going on board. Lets be honest its a floating marina apartment for Limehouse basin.
Stunning boat. I especially liked the steps up onto the roof. Why other wide beam builders do not do that always surprised me. The exposed wheel area seemed to be a sunny windless day sailing place only. It does just shows what you can do if you think out of the box.
Truly stunning and a very very refreshing take on the wide beam. The workmanship is outstanding and far more reminiscent of small yacht builds than the typical barge build. It would be interesting to see whether underfloor heating was available thus reducing the need for visible radiators and perhaps the use of incinerator toilets? I suppose this type of build would be bespoke in all senses so assume this could be done. All subject to the budget. Fantastic.
Absolutely lovely craft, pretty well thought out, and it does lend to the future of canal boating. I for one, would not use it on a canal, i would be more prone to trying the Norfolk Broads with it, and keep it moored there. As for design, well done, i would change two things if i were to buy one, first, the Helm area, i would have it enclosed with a slider mechanism that locks securely, to keep all the equipment dry and safe in winter months, and also have the actual controls panel able to rotate, so it stays out of view when parked up and locked up. Finally, in the master bedroom, three wardrobe doors to the front, i would take or use the middle one as a Front exit point with stairs behind going to the top deck. Alternative wardrobe space could probably be found to alleviate the loss of one wardrobe space.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful motorised longboat it’s so beautiful beautiful are I would love to go on a cruise someday through the canals of England in UK
This is a lovely lovely boat. Definitely things I would change in terms of the decor and functionality but it is a lovely space. I would really like to have seen how that bed came down and I would take that big puffy sectional out for that particular space. Thanks for the peek inside.
I find the interior looking like a cheap motel redecorated in high end (boring) features. Not a "natural" looking item in the place, even the "wood" looks fabricated and sterile.
Electric is perfect for canal boats. Smelly, noisy and polluting diesels are overdue for conversion, which I expect is a lot more straightforward than converting a car. Nice boat too!
I love the layout, but I'm not sure about the styling. It looks like an oil tanker to me. But I'm sure the owners are super happy with it, and good on them.
I dont know about oil tanker as they miles long this looks more like a brigantine style boat. Love it myself but as its over half a million not for me until I win the lottery 😂
A beautiful boat, but with a major flaw. There is only one way in/out of the vessel, and that's at the stern. It would have been a great idea to have had an exit to the bow, manly for safety reasons and of course for easier moorings. One other point,, is the weed hatch very low to get to, as the decking seems pretty high on the stern.
There is an exit at the bow (escape hatch). On a typical Widebeam there is a lowered deck area at the bow. This normally takes up around 9-10 feet, as well as steps into the boat. Giving a total loss at the bow of around 12 feet. To make the best use of space inside the boat we negated steps and kept the deck high. If the desire was there and the design could afford ~1200mm diameter we could incorporate a spiral staircase out of the master bedroom.
I don't think this boat is planning on having messy jobs like weed clearance - it's all too perfect for that. I was noticing the footprints already showing on that decking - it would be one of those things you have to continually run around cleaning up ! It's pretty gorgeous, but I distinctly get the feeling you will need 'staff' to use this happily !

Sweet boat. Think that’s the nicest narrow boat I’ve seen. I just don’t get the all electric part. The uk isn’t know for its sunshine.
We haven't had to "plug it in" yet. Most boats in the UK sit in Marina's during winter, so can be plugged in.
Duncan McLeod lived on a barge on a Paris canal, it was one long room with a raised platform for a Japanese style bed at the bow. I've wanted to live on a barge ever since. I'd also settle for a Whisper catamaran or 20m schooner. Heck, a wee tugboat conversion would suit me just fine.
Would like to see more and probation
Wow!! does that bad boy fit through all the canals, tunnels & bridges?
Nope
Fridge freezer, that’s really cool. Lol.
Fantastic boat, desperately needs an “aquaholic” tour 🤞🤞🤞
Was just thinking that Nick would do a great tour of this boat with Maggie!
That would be great, I'll try to send him a message.
This is an awesome boat... I liked the design and looks!! But, trust me, you guys need a training on how to edit the video and present it to the public... My apologies for being so straight and open... You need to edit in such a way that there video should flow like continuous!! The shots too was not that good.. I am not sure, if the cameraman was allowed to shoot freely or he is new... But all in all, I liked the boat !! Good video guys.. Please do not mind my words, just trying to assist you for the next one..
The cameraman was me, the boat builder. We expected to post something on RUclips and get a couple of hundred views. Nearly quarter of a million later we realised our short comings. We will try to improve, if we do not, will hire in a professional. (likely the latter)
@@finesseboats6937 Don't worry, you can do better... Just observe others like Enes Plus, Aquaholic etc.. You will understand the technique... My apologies for saying it loudly.. It is surely an awesome boat.. Just need to present it well..
This is a free prestation on RUclips not an expensive presentation from the boat builder .you have a whinge then say " Good video guys " this is a weird post .
The guys will be interested in the steering info?? Sexist much? And what's with the big cross on the foredeck?
That boat is cool as hell. I just can’t imagine only being able to drive it in a canal having to worry about hitting a wall the whole trip
i often think how these boats could have more tricky extra options incorporated into them from watching how the Americans do their RV busses.
“There’s a fridge freezer, that’s pretty cool.”……………It’s just as well. 🤔🤣🤣🤣👍
Is it liveaboard? Canals only, or seaworthy too? Does it have some extra energy source, or only the roof pannels?
Love to know the price of the finished article.......
Beautiful boat
A very livable space !
