In this video I show you how to make bulletproof shoulder armor with ordinary materials. I used carbon fiber and fiberglass to make composite ballistic armor.
Intro music is Ghost Cop by Dougie Wood
Main music is Searching for You by White Hex

TEST VIDEO IS OUT EVERYONE. See it here: ruclips.net/video/40AD_dMVaOY/видео.html
I would definitely buy this
You should like sell me that 😊
Check with a lawyer before selling or being in public with such items, even if it's in your car. Just in case. I wouldn't be surprised doing so would violate multiple federal and state laws.
@@thomasblaine3193 It is 100% legal to own and wear armor in all 50 states. If one day it isn't....well then you need the armor.
@@DavidGuyton Careful brother, sounding a lot like a patriot right now. 😂
We are one step closer to making Space Marine being a reality!
President Trump: YES
Yes
No💀. Y’all can’t even stay home, and y’all think Covid is fake. That’s just dumb to say
@@bengoku9711 tF you on about boy?
They can't even get in space they never been and ain't never going
SO MANY people are asking if I will sell these, and because of that, I am looking into starting a Kickstarter to get this project off the ground. Stay tuned.
I just stumbled upon this AND I MIGHT BE INTERESTED especially with the way the world is going
I will take two.
Link to Kickstarter? I got $100 for you
I kinda want to know how effective it is in action
Fucking doo it
send it to demolition ranch for exposure
He did it :)
The begginings of Adeptus Astartes
Okay. I am going to make a suggestion.
Shoot a message/ set of these over to Demolition Ranch and have him test just how "Bullet Proof/Resistant" these really can be.
"But we're not building battleships here"
*well why the hell not*
dude, send it to Demolition Ranch for testing
yes or make a new one with no nice paint job, screws and stuffs and send that xD
And just like that he did!
PLEEEAAAASSSSEEEEE send this to Demolition Ranch to test how effective it is
"The devils cloth." This man gets it.
For those of you wondering about the weight, I FORGOT to say it in the video (stupid! stupid! stupid!) It comes in at 6.5 lbs.
Absolutely brilliant stuff, man. I'm not talking about the armor, though. I'm talking about your support for the Constitution with the Preamble beginning tattoo and the little chest placard.
The armor stuff is also stunning, but those are trinkets compared to the Constitution. Everything on Earth is, as far as I'm concerned, so it isnt an insult.
Your video is like tricking a demon into watching a recording of the exorcism that banishes them back to hell.
I'm picturing some Antifa rioter thinking they can build some stuff to help them attack law enforcement, seeing your tattoo, then bursting into flame (more likely tears.)
Again, simply incredible.
Meh, that was no big concern.
@@CNNBlackmailSupport this might be my favorite comment of all time.
lol didn't see this. But I asked this exact question.
That's allot of weight. Especially if you were also wearing body armor. 6lbs adds allot to the overall stress to the body for a daily wear or all day mission.
Reject modernity, embrace tradition! Return to pauldron.
"The Emporer protects"
Ave
Ave Imperator.
And one step closer to 40k armor! Excellent work
Finally a DIY-armor builder who puts the fabric layers at different angles on top of each other. I've never understood how some people can put so much work and effort into DIY armor and then miss out on this tiny step that adds so much to the resistance capabilities of their armor.
Here is the thing. A lot of keyboard cowboys talk smack on ol boy here. but this man put in a lot of effort to actually do something make something. And then shared it.
Is it this? is it that? He has what i look for in a employee, a friend, and battle buddy... effort. He put in the work. Which one of you builds armor at home then talks smack on ther peoples mark1?
So if you havent built stuff you are no different that the fat man at the gym giving workout advise but cant throw up a plate.
He can improve if he wants because he is getting it done. You, your stuck right there.
Keep on doing what your doin my man.
Couldnt have said it better myself
Definitely need to start production. One at a time brother. There is a demand. Get with Vet buddies and run with this. Wish you great success.
Just here trying to build a Armored suite since I'm concerned about 2021.
Yeah.. Globalism and Nationalism going head to head.
I would love to see this stuff for police. Made from metal instead so it would be stronger. I am trying to learn too.
Crazy start to this decade.
@@givemegrape1688 hope nats win. Either way i'm going innawoods until concrete sides form
The shield fringe at the top needs to be taller, you want it tall enough to see over but high enough to give protection.

War Hammer Space Marines!! Rawr love it!!!
Bro send this to demolition ranch for testing. Ur Channel would blow up!
Oooo pin this

For the emperor!
It looks like it came out from Warhammer universe
I'll take that as a compliment!
It reminds me of the Imperial Fist.
@@DavidGuyton up next working power armor. Warhammer 40k is cool and has some interesting designs worth looking into.
Very nice. With respect to your channel, Demolition Ranch would go nuts for this and he would give you all the respect in the world.
Holy shit.
You have so many Negative comments. Completely unwarranted!. This is a great idea. You should send one to Demo Ranch. That would get your product out there to a HUGE audience. Keep up the great work. Don't even bother replying to those haters. they have Nothing better to do.

I think its not said enough that this seems like a noble goal and product by being open and free with this information that will let people defend themselves and their families. That's what being an American should really stand for instead of trying to gatekeep your findings to profiteer. Self sufficiency and selflessness.
The country is litterally a big corporation. What do you expect? Selfless people are a rare sight, and sometimes branded "communists", sadly
*BOW TO THE IMPERIUM OF MAN*
i wonder if he does space marine power armour designs that would be so cool
Brotherhood of steel
The best defense against bullets is not being in front of the firearm. Everything else is an insurance policy.
Wtf,you sound like that girl that said "if your homeless......just buy a house" lol I'm sure its useless to build any type of armor cuz the problem is that we keep standing in front of a fire arm, nothing to do with others pointing a gun at is lol, your funny
Best armor is evasion, don’t wanna get shot, just get out the way how come no one ever thought of that 😂. Damn wait till I tell the world about this lmao.
I am an armorer and I use to do armed security. This is a very good indicator that medieval style armor has relevance. And so wished that I had that armor you made when breeching doors. Very well done my friend.
The design looks cool, from a bullet stopping and anti-pinch perspective you want to lip all the edges out to prevent bullet slide off.
Next armor set, forged body armor out of 3/8" AR500!
It's refreshing to see you step out of your comfort zone. I really appreciate the mix of fabrication on this channel it seems like it's growing into something amazing. Not to say that it wasn't amazing before but it just keeps getting better and better every single time I watch every video. Congratulations on the success and hopefully you will step out of that comfort zone and amaze us again in the future. Thank you for your integrity and all of your hard work and you're amazing videos
You can buy Biaxial Carbon fiber rolls that are already in crossed direction layers. (Many times stronger than standard weave CF ! )
It's made for industrial strength applications, but doesn't have that common pleasing appearance you'd expect from the standard weave. of course, you can always add a weave layer...
I hope this is a sign that armor tutorials are making a comeback!
Mechanicum guidelines dictate the pauldrons should be bigger
The cult mechanicus wants to know your location
Can't wait for the testing video
The term -proof is an accurate armourer term from medieval europe and the English civil war. When a noble asked an armourer to make a suit of armour, or a roundhead got some pre-made armour, the armourer was often asked to 'prove' it was effective. The armourer would thrust a sword at the brestplate with all his might in front of the noble to satisfy his fear of being run through. If the weapon did not penetrate it was deemed sword proof. Because it was proven to be so. Nobody took anyones word that the armour was sound, demonstration was required, and armour was tested for each weapon, a sword proof breast plate was not spear proof unless it was proven to be so, for example.
I picked this up watching historical youtube content on the english civil war. One of the last wars with gunpower that combatants still wore metal armour. Some metal breatplates where infact bullet-proof (the armourer would fire a pistol at near point blank range).
Theres a reason metal armor requires demonstration metal is not uniform no matter whathe samd process on two seperate ores will never create thd exacts same durability.
This is a big reason steal plates are sketchy as fuck the PROCESS is rated to stop rounds(they tested some examples) but every plate made the same way will never bs the same strength leading to dud plates that can hardly stop anything every now and then
@Old King Crow except steel armor actually has had that shit happen you simply cant make gurantees with steel its inherent in the material
@Old King Crow its not lightning strike small it happens all the time with metal in all kinds of applications.
Army of Two on PS3 had this concept back in 2007. Great to see it in reality.
send it to Demolition Ranch for testing
on top of being effective, we are now closer to looking like gears of war characters lmao
A thin layer of ballistic gel lining the inside can absorb all shock from impact. Try using that also.
Ballistic gel doesn't work like you think some armor uses the gel from shoe sole inserts it's alot thicker than ballistic gel
I love it and I want one. seems so much more practical than just chest armor. Defend that shooting profile, brilliant.
You should look into vacuum impregnation, will give your almost a 100% bond of the resin and all the sheets.
Cant wait for the test vid
It gives me Brotherhood of Steel vibes, good work!
Every day that passes we get closer to Master Chief's armor
Subbed. Can't wait for the test.
Really exited to check out your mettle working armorsmith stuff as well.
It's taken me this long to find someone that wasnt a complete moron and actually thought "you know if we can make bullet proof body armor why havent we bothered to do pauldrons too?" And it looks slick as hell too

Every now and then I stumble across a great RUclipsr. this is one of those times. Truly amazing my dude
Awesome. I'll take one for each shoulder, two for the lower appendages and a skull shield also.
Genius.

Send it to demo ranch for it to be tested now!
I tried!
Awesome to the max! Nerds and guns is the best combo.
I look forward to seeing your idea boom into a great business.
Newest member pure awesomeness can't wait for the next video ty
Who else saw demolition ranch destroy it.
Great video, not every going to be able to do this, but seeing it done was really cool. Thanks for taking the time.
This is what we need!!!! Mass production for this great job
Where are you and what are you doing that you need this?
🤔...I wonder if I can build Warhammer 40k Space Marine style armor...
Where there's a will there's a way!
Tip, use PVA polyinylalcohol as a release agent instead of wax, that is what I use when molding fiberglass. Also dont use carbon fiber use kevlar. Ballistic kevlar is readily available and inexpensive. I woke with FG and other cloth in my business of fab and marine repair. You can also do a vacuum process that works better.
Awesome design! Very functional. Love to see that on our modern ballistic armor.
Very nice! Cannot wait to see how these perform!
Fun fact, bullet proof back then didn't mean it "proof" from bullet, but rather it mean this armour has been tested via shooting it and it survive. Therefor it is bullet proof.
For the Emperah!
+Armoror skill has reached Master level.
Awesome video.
Great job. And well narrated.
Slowly we are getting to real life warhammer 40k marines
Bro that was literally my first though 😂😂
Vault tec is calling
that is so cool! Awesome work!
I LOVE the Roman empire aesthetic to this piece. A true work of art man!
Love it. Taken from the Roman gladiators!
I'd buy this any day of the week.
Whoa slow down , that looks like a winner . Awesome . You proved that you can do it . We the people need your talents .
looks awesome! great work
Reminds me of combat armor from Fallout.
This is cool af
Excellent concept.
Great video, the piece turned out great, anxiously anticipating the test video
I don't really know why I'm watching this but that's pretty cool
Wait...so instead of a bullet in the shoulder were opting for shrapnel to the face?
My dude this is absolutely SICK!
This is next step we were waiting for. You do the lord's work.
I think we're all waiting for a range test
Yo you should totally make mandalorian armour, this is the way
T.B Comics the problem is Beskar is hard to come by so it's expensive. and without the proper equipment and training forging it to its renown resistive properties is impossible. maybe if he made some armor out of sheet steel, it would still be cool.
What a nice design!!! I love it
Looked pretty slick with the exposed carbon fiber. Pretty damn badass in general.
cant leave out the warhammer shoulder emblem, good choice on just glueing it even if it falls off
This is very warhammer 40k , im deff following
One tip I got for the mold making, you made the M and F parts 1:1 which is often fine but for such a thick _(þicc)_ part it would help to have the M part a bit undersized and/or F part a bit oversized, It would help a lot with getting even pressure on the whole part and make removing it a lot easier.
...
But I guess since you're not working with this anymore, this is more of a tip to your viewers
Good show! Thanks for sharing!
Reminds me of how T'au armor works. Use the pauldron as a shield while firing.
Looks like you’re about to go anti-LARP in Seattle.
I love your retro music.
