    A lot of cool concepts but many of these are also pretty impractical. Like the Ronnin helmet most likely cuts your peripheral vision so your situational awareness is decreased. Exoskeletons would probably find only use on base never in actual combat scenarios. Plus military also has a budget. Special suits would primarily be for special operations never for standard infantry.

    • @caseyvu123
      @caseyvu123 Год назад

      The ronin helmet does not cut your peripheral vision as much as you'd expect. because of how close it sits against your eyes, your vision is practically unimpeded. For example, if you look through the middle of a small washer from an arms length away, you won't be able to see anything through that hole. But if you bring that washer right up against your eye, you'll be able to see as if the washer wasn't there.

    For the Ronin ballistic helmet, while the idea is really cool... is it just me, or does it look, *flimsy*, especially the gaps between things like the cheek plates (the white part), seem a bit on the *thin* side for protection. Also the ease with which the cheek plate and such seems to come of with also seems a little concerning, will it be able to reliably remain on the helmet during combat? Will the the gaps in the individual plates still be good enough if a bullet happens to impact one of those spots? What are the plates rated for, and what about the white gaps? What are they rated for? Is the built in toxic gas filter able to properly work, as in does the helmet have a proper seal while it is on the head to make sure that toxic gas can't just come into the helmet through gaps such as down by the neck and even possibly between some of the detachable plates?

    • @maxentirunos
      @maxentirunos 2 года назад +3

      Demotion ranch tested this helmet if you want to see the results. In case you just want to know, the helmet was able to stop bullets up to 44 Magnum. The two big weakness of it are that the attach system make the helmet easily detach from the head after a shot on the side or above, and that the lenses are not bullet proof (lead buckshot shotgun shell was able to go through)
      From the same channel, you would be better protected by a standard army helmet + bulletproof face mask + large bulletproof glasses (all test are in the same channel)

    • @jasonhergert1100

    First suit:
    While it may offer additional protection from the Gen IV IOTV currently in service, using lithium ion batteries that are exposed for the power seems very iffy to me. In general, I don't think this suit would retain energy for long enough for a real engagement. It would become a box of rocks smothering your body in what, an hour?
    Replacement batteries in arid conditions would be even more concerning.
    Second suit:
    I don't give a shit if you make a suit that is completely impenetrable to all explosives. Those 'mines' are nothing more than fireworks. If they were actually dangerous explosives, she'd need to be wearing four or five hundred pounds of equipment or she would be sent skyward.
    At best it's a fireproof suit and we give those to firefighters already.
    The third arm could actually be useful. I have a lot of issues using support-level weapons in anything other than a prone supported position. That shit is so heavy that your arms just shake when it's not popped on cover.
    Fourth suit: Definitely a kickass design. The arm plates would probably be 9mm at best, but having as much coverage that can tightly and comfortably fit to the skin as possible is generally good.
    Everything with a battery concerns me. The helmet seems like a huge waste of time, but armored boots might be a new modern.
    Exoskeleton: Same concerns with first/second suit. Lithium ion is an issue. Maybe new phosporous batteries will be less dangerous?
    Ronin helmet: Seems like an unacceptable loss of peripheral vision. I agree that current helmet technology is rather outdated--but unless we can seriously reinforce our necks/spines, a 7.62mm would probably break your neck if it domed you anyways. Cracks ribs through plates already.
    African suit: Almost certainly a hoax. Funny as shit though
    MWD goggles: What a good boy
    Battleskin: Might be more useful than the Ronin. The stress point seems to be better placed near the temples--but I have no clue what testing it's gone through for stress points.
    Still would need neck protection.

      I was thinking aroegel because I heard that it protects spacecraft from cosmic rays but nasas pretty misleading on that as it protects only against weaker beta rays unfortunately only concrete lead and steel can block gamma rays and aswell sadly you require several inches of theses substances to block gamma rays so a alloy probably won’t work but perhaps since the blast of a emp is short lived an alloy may give some protection but I doubt protection from emp would be guaranteed honestly a faraday cage might be the best idea well in a perfect world we’re we had enough energy within the suit to deploy its own magnetic field and not just any field it need enough power to stop gamma rays which is impossible amounts of energy but after a search I realized what I’m talkin bout here is from nuclear radiation which is not what is used in the battle field rather radio microwave and ultraviolet radiation is used in combat emps which actually can be stopped by lead alloy and in some cases even the light wheight aroegel can protect against emp as long as it ain’t nuclear which is unlikely honestly after reflecting and researching faraday cage would work with the lower energies required with longer wavelengths but too much power is required but actually that alloy idea would be way more efficient probably the best way to go perhaps too give the faraday cage one more chance to be efficient perhaps implement an emp sensor which exists as tiny chips and as soon as the suit gets the alarm the faraday cage can be activated combined with lightwhieght aroegel that can block radio waves perhaps balancing less power to the cage and more aerogel to add efficiency while aswell includes the bennifit of being fire proof or rather heat resistant to 2000 • ferinhight just ideas probably some inaccuracies just brainstorming

      @@oy3930 Marine with a capital “M” means a member of the US Marine Corps or the Royal Marines. With a lowercase “m” it means a member of any country's naval ground force such as those mentioned above, meant to be transported by sea, especially via naval vessel, to then fight on land. All Marines are marines, but not all marines are Marines.
      It's also a general adjective that means having to do with the sea or intended for use on a boat or in the water; see also “maritime.”
      The word Troop is a mostly archaic term for a unit of cavalry, analogous to an infantry company and an artillery battery, and like the latter two is usually commanded by an army captain. Some US Army companies that maintain cavalry traditions due to the units' histories are still referred to as troops.
      It is also, and more commonly in modern times, a generic term for an individual military service member, especially an army soldier. I think in this case it's a shortening of “trooper,” which is an old word for a cavalry soldier.
      Soldier is a word for a military person trained and equipped for ground combat or a member of a nation's land army.
      It can also be used more generally to refer to any military person, or even an irregular fighter or mercenary, but usually implies a uniformed ground troop.
      And in the United States, Marines especially don't like to be referred to as soldiers, so in American English “soldier” is used almost exclusively for members of the US Army.
      Another reason is that they are considered "better" in some way to normal soldiers. So just never refer to Marines as soldiers because to them, that is insulting as it is not what they are.

    As for everyone bashing the mine finder installed in the boots, im not sure, but I think what it means is that it beeps or makes a sound (works like metal detector) like before you step on a mine, and likely has sensors that shoot out around you to scan for metal directly around you. I mean not that its something I'd 100% rely on, just something that may assist a soldier if he accidently walks into a minefield. Only this is to have exreamly fast reflexes to stop walking as soon as you hear the sound.

    Out of all the teachings one may learn here during life is that martial arts is by far the most beneficial, for it can be applied to every other aspect naturally and effortlessly. Martial arts is the fastest and most efficient way for one to learn their bodies capabilities and limitations therefore being able to become physically fit, mentally sound and spiritually balanced allowing them to express physical freedom. Which is key for one to start living up to the pleasure, potential and responsibility of femininity and masculinity at this level of body awareness one naturally actually has a self-control, discipline, loyalty, devotion, appreciation, respect, confidence and joyful determination to validate, confirm and signify that the are being true towards love honor and the creation of life. If one makes a conscious choice to live in accordance to validating love to the degree I mentioned it allows the subconscious to systematically coincide with the soul spirit mother Earth and all the various different forms of life that live within this world in the most efficient way that is humanly possible. Thus yielding the best spiritual kickback for one's efforts accomplishments experiences. Anything less is feebleminded physically inadequate and submissive subservient which it doesn't get any worse than that living and dying in that mannerism. For when one lives and dies having neglected the physical freedom they have had available all throughout their life a results in them being recognized internally and externally for all eternity throughout existence as spiritually sexually suppressed. Case closed mercy forgiveness spiritual welfare are not changing those facts protecting carrying compensating any wining souls or spirits that are freely connected to a life that does not do its best to improve upon and maintain the quality of it. You might want to take that point to Heart considering if life is not free why the hell would death be any cheaper it's not. So don't miss the deadline on becoming physically fit mentally sound spiritually balanced being able to express physical freedom. Obviously high sources of nutrition will greatly increase one's physical freedom + formal education maybe some hands-on experience with the most extreme situations nursing homes daycare centers critical care units birthing centers. Group homes, jails, prisons, Army,, Navy Marine core, special forces, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, sports and fitness facilities. Whether you believe are not as secondary to the fact that each and every moment is spiritually accounted for. Obviously if you believe in a higher power form of God goddest then you would want to serve him the best life possible. The sad truth is thanks to a diminished quality of life from coast-to-coast globally people have been living dying for the last hundred 50 years or so to a diminished quality of life resulting in the worst spiritual kickback that has ever been manifested throughout the history of mankind. This diminished quality of life is primarily do to dirty low-paying jobs that come from outdated power sources inferior materials poisonous toxic substances pesticides chemicals that never change their killing composition which means whether it is a solid liquid burnt off into our airways atmosphere as a vapor is always going to be poisonous debilitating deadly to the body. At the same time polluting corrupting devastating to mother Earth and all the various different forms of life that live within this world. There is no profit to be made in the demise of the planet even far worse is the spiritual kickback that is manifested from inhaling petrified death 24 seven drinking using contaminated water using wearing the materials that are made cheap and inferior something like corrosive to the body that's what happens when you conduct business to the lowest standards of quality which is primarily America China India. In layman's terms You cannot promote life by doing business with material, resources and substances that have been scientifically classified religiously verified as petrified death or worse which all stem from coal, oil, gas and the chemical industry. It's not all gloom and doom. For we have the man/woman power to offset maybe even fully compensate all the damage that has been caused from dirty low-paying jobs. And that is with clean high paying jobs from coast-to-coast that improve upon and maintain the quality of our air water foods landscapes working living environment every day home products habitat ecosystem plus the lifestyle I mentioned. The goal is to live in a manner that allows each persons generation to naturally and gradually become stronger smarter healthier happier better off physically mentally financially possibly spiritually then the previous generation. Sad to say even undergoes best case scenario circumstances there is still going to be a percentage of people who freely live and die having only used the smallest percentage of a fraction of the true potential of the were first born with. Now I wish and pray for my soul and spirit to be held spiritually accountable to the statements I proclaim to the way of living personally and professionally. I guarantee you never see hear another body man/ woman in power persons of legal religious authority leaders ever freely validate the statements they proclaim with that level of certainty. One reason they don't naturally instinctively have the best interest of the majority of the population's needs at Heart another reason could be they come from a breed of cowards or have a lifestyle that suggests, confirms and validates them as being absent-minded frail body. Is quite possible to be a combination of those two worst-case scenarios. For one is genetic hereditary and the other is a generic learned behavior. Either way it is physically mentally spiritually useless to freely live and die in such a low-quality manner. Especially if that ignorance, stupidity, weakness and desperation stems from being soft, lazy, out of shape, over fed, undernourished, overworked and underpaid with the dirty low-paying job. S.R.F

    I think the present technologies can achieve this goal. It is not a big deal. Reinforce the outer mechanical skeleton can make this. It ensure soldiers have bigger payloads and better protection, also carry more advanced digital sensors as well as robust telecommunication devices or cyber units.
