Never get bored of operator and it never fails to deliver. It's just amazing. And I had to come all this way of trying different vsts and samples and what not just to realize that the best tool was there all the time for some reason just overlooked. I've been using operator for 99% of all my bass lines for about 2 years now and man is this thing capable of some wicked sounds. Wicked man! More vids like that please!

Sounds awesome guys! Please keep the videos coming, they help me very much as I'm new to this kind of music... And get well soon ;-) Greetings from Germany!
+Quantize Courses You are terrific! Thank YOU for creating these vids for us, I certainly am learning quite a lot in addition to the purchased Quantize video packs :)
+Quantize Courses wicked I'm already subscribed but I have so many subscriptions - like 1300 so you've gone under the Radar but a search for push 2 turned you up and I will be visiting regurkaky from now on so well explained and no jargon nice one brovaaaaaaa😄
Erosion is so underused in ableton, it can give provide a subtle effect (like you show) or provide a really hardened edge to a sound. anyways that was my 2 cents haha, great tutorial man!!!
Nice tutorial Keith. Is it possible to show us how to create a subby Bassline and how to mix it with a Kick. Here is an example of a well mixed sub-bassline and kick: Kevin Knapp - Do work (Original Mix). You can find it here on RUclips. I'm curious if you can handle such quest! Cheers Keith
+Quantize Courses I'm watching many YT-channels, vids from Danny Lewis and his UMP-Group, but never find a great tutorial about the strategy to find or create a sub-bassline and a kick which complement each other so that you have it easier to mix it. Only sidechain or MB-sidechain often don't work. And as you know, most important of a dancetrack is the beat and bassline which work together! I bought all your Video Courses and yes, they are great! But missing a course about "working bass and kick together"!
Great video! Only two things: Operator is a FM synth. So the first oscillator is called "carrier" not oscillator and the others are called operators. Because the operators drive the first carrier consecutiveli.
Hey great tut. That clicky pop sound at the beginning of the note....how the hell do you get rid of it, without taking away all the attack. I thought I was the only one getting this. Really irritates me.
Super late on this but use an eq 8 audio effect. Just play around with the settings a bit or look up how to use it. Thats like the most useful effect on ableton.

damn that helped me so much!
thanks for the the tutorial without talking about your life xD

So i am looking for this effect. I only have ableton 9 standard did everyone here pay 100 dollars for this effect? or does it come with suite?
How do you start a tutorial by starting at step 5? lol.
Hi! I am very new to Ableton and DAWs. I have Ableton LIve 9 Intro, do I need to upgrade to Suite to use Operator?or can I just buy it separately?
Great video! Only two things: Operator is a FM synth. So the first oscillator is called "carrier" not oscillator and the others are called operators. Because the operators drive the first carrier consecutiveli.
Both carriers and operators are oscillators
how did you produce the intro?

What is the exact operator?
Is it separate synth?
Or it is regular in the ableton?
It is a standart syth in Ableton.
@@АнтонЛеднёв-и1я а какой конкретно??
в разделе instruments -> operator -> bass??
The real question is how do I make that intro?
