Try attaching the winch to the side or rear of the trailer, and then attach to a tree or post in front of the trailer winch point, I find it works well when hauling those long trailers up hills.
In real life those Russian trucks would require repairs twice a day. With a sledgehammer, prybar, half a liter Vodka and a ton of verbal creativity. But this is game, so I guess it's fine.
@@thanors2 Well, you know German cars, Japanese cars, American muscle cars, Italian and French, lately Korean cars, even Chinese cars. Besides few fans and collectors, nobody talks about Russian cars. Rings a bell? On the good side - you don't break a law trying to repair one yourself unlike with John Deere. Very simple, inefficient, unreliable. But then you can try and repair one with some basic knowledge, a screwdriver, blue tape and a hammer. BTW whole SR concept is bs. Offroad truck would have shovel, axe, few boards, extra rope, random extra fuel, etc. But then it works as a game, so fine by me.
I can recommend using the sideboard bed because cargo becomes weightless when it is unpacked and the sideboards will stop the cargo from sliding off. Might help if you ever get bogged.
the mack looks awesome with the tires from the kenworth. but they are too big for the axle space, you need to delete one axle and make a bit more space between the axles itself. we should get different axle variations in the vanilla game!
Trial and error Scott trial-and-error you didn't know that it was going to be like that with the truck it happens don't let it discourage you. Watch this for entertainment value going to get a better Insight when I can actually get my internet up and running and get snowrunner up and running again personally I would stick with all your Russian trucks I don't care if it's the same truck every single episode I just enjoy the fact of you doing loads and sharing your experience and love of gaming with the rest of us for that Scott and I look forward to every episode you you post you have yourself a wonderful week Christopher Dunn Maine USA
At the beginning of your trip, there is a shortcut if you follow the train tracks from the start where they curve, there should be a clearing through the trees up a hill to the right, its hard to explain In words
The base trailers in the game have a weird issue in that when going through terrain or loaded they act like the brakes are half way pressed. The concerns with the NA Trucks is that Saber tones them down so they don't just chew threw the game quick. For instance most US trucks on average haul over 100,000lbs per truck or 45,359.237 kilograms of cargo for 1 truck the fact they struggle in the game hauling 2 cases of steel beams is stupid they should not even care and more than likely would relish having that kind of light load.
Lets be honest I've watched this video a few times now and I've seen quite a few mistakes when you took that path. What you need to realize and it's nothing against you. Everyone has their own style of driving offroad. You love speed and power most American drivers will take it slow and play with throttle control and it also comes down to your line. Now the part where you were shaming the vehicle you were on a decent line but you also need to control throttle and maintain your speed and momentum. Meaning set up your route and GET THE FUCKING WATCH TOWERS FIRST BEFORE YOU TRY COMPLETING CONTRACTS ! 😂😅
LMAO. How is that truck so horrible, just wants to tip over at every opportunity. Seems like this truck should only be on normal roads, nothing off-road. How is it drinking so much fuel and not even in AWD? WOW that little red truck is a real hoss, got down and pulled it all up like it was nothing. I need to find that little guy.
They took this map too far with offroad. There is a lot of lands with swamps, mud and annoying rocks, too many rocks. They need to give missions so we can build a safe road, construction companies don't hire trucks to bring materials to build log bridges and leave trash everywhere.
The Mack Defunct has like every other multi axle US truck, bar one, in SR has highway suspension that isn't designed for rough terrain it's designed for load bearing & speed on paved roads , the US trucks also have engines designed for highway speeds, high bhp & high torque with bhp given priority over torque within the rev range, the kenworth 963 has very badly designed walking beam rear suspension that's hung too low on the chassis The Soviet & Russian trucks all have full off road suspension & engines which give torque priority over bhp & highway speeds. They're not OP they are designed primarily for off road capability where the US trucks are designed primarily for highway use Tip... Raising suspension does NOT increase ground clearance
Raising a vehicle suspension does increase the ground clearance, it enables taller tires to be installed which increases the ground to axle clearance. It also increases the distance a suspension can articulate and travel while driving over rough terrain.
@@user-st1ko5dc2hGround clearance is measured on a level surface & it is from the ground to the lowest point on the vehicle, usually the bottom of the differential or lower steering pivot, as raising suspension raises everything above these points doing so doesn't actually increase ground clearance as the measurements between the ground & bottom of differential or lower steering pivot hasn't been altered by raising the suspension, not even by 0.00001 of a mm Fitting larger wheels however does increase ground clearance Raising suspension also raises the center of gravity quite substantially, fitting larger wheels will slightly offset this. The optimum solution is to fit larger wheels without raising the suspension as this will increase ground clearance without having much affect, if any, to the center of gravity due to the extra weight of the larger wheels Take it from a very experienced off road driver who's knocking on 60 years
Scott, I had a very long day. I had a few tests run. Recuperating now.
I really needed this today, Thanks for your content, and commentary!!!
Love the series. keep them coming!

Or do what I do, never use the winch for self recovery, just for towing truck that need delivering somewhere

Are they really that bad.

YES!! Love the Snowrunner! More please
I'm not starting 10 until I've finished 9 but the wheels on that Mack truck look ridiculously small.
That is a very good point. I hope Scott sees this.
It was designedas a highway truck, with highway suspension & drivetrain
I’ve been to the real Duncan Bay BC. Looks nothing like this. LoL
More Snowrunner please.
Yessss let's goooo more SNOWRUNNER 🎉😊
I can recommend using the sideboard bed because cargo becomes weightless when it is unpacked and the sideboards will stop the cargo from sliding off. Might help if you ever get bogged.
Those mirrors are for to see people walking in front of the truck. It helps with blind spots

The Mack is a good truck just needed some love from modders. I bet the devs fix the axle collision problem too.
Love the vids please keep it going!!
I think when you get a trailer it should spawn with the same tyres the truck you're using to tow it has 💯
There are mod trailers which have offroad wheels they help greatly search them up!
For the superhevy trailer just use the Kolob, and it gets fun again. But for most other tasks the Zik is perfect.

I've genuinely in the last 3 years never been so stuck i need another truck to rescue me, am i seriously the only one?
Use that Mack and see what happens 😂
I sold the m917 after one failed mission. Tires are to small and the hit box on the undercarriage makes the truck unusable.
At the beginning of your trip, there is a shortcut if you follow the train tracks from the start where they curve, there should be a clearing through the trees up a hill to the right, its hard to explain In words
maybe in the future use the 4 axle dolly trailer for better weight distribution
I have the year 3 pass which has a content list of season 9, season 10, season 11, and season 12 which will be expansion 2 for the game.
What’s your 8 wheeled red truck? And how did you obtain it? It’s indestructible lol
Mack and Ken are a little underwhelming, honestly.
Oh well.
You should try out season 9 cause it is a bushfire type theme in Canada or maybe try out season 8
Should put and on deffintly would help
Awd
Can you show more of the view from inside the trucks😊
Imandra,Imandra,Imandra

Hey, can you play bunker 21? Its very good game, i did passed it many times
There will be more seasons after this!!
Sometimes the low gear just disappear for you
Why didn't you use low gear when you was stock at the rocks
I think the mack would have done better not towing a trailer😐
The international and the western star trucks are so much better than the Mack
mack isnt great truck btw ;)
It looks cool, but drives like a wheel barrel
especially when even cat 680 can beat it, since mack hitbox is shitty as F

Can someone tell me how can I get my progress back in snowrunner xbox
Was looking forward to the Mack and it’s a piece of garbage!
Daaamn you are sooo bad driver in Snowrunner!
First
Wow dude, you really should learn how to play this game. For that many subscribers one would think that you are better at video games.
