A storm has shaken western Canada, wreaking havoc all over and cutting off power. Reconnect British Columbia’s grid and its crucial infrastructures with 2 new trucks across 2 new summer maps.
The Season 10: Fix & Connect DLC includes:
- Two new 4km² Canadian maps. Visit Duncan Bay and North Peak National Park, a brand-new setting inspired by the Canadian province of British Columbia.
- Two new vehicles: take the wheel of the Mack Defense M917A3, a fine tuned off-roader equipped with eight axles, and the Kenworth 963, a perfect behemoth for heavy-duty deliveries and off-road trials.
- New activities : Restore the electric facilities of the region and its touristic lakeside attractions. Carry restoration parts and electric generators, set up electric poles to reconnect the whole grid, or help a ferry boat company to restart its business.

Scott!!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING when you are slowing down/ getting stuck PUT THE TRUCK IN LOW and it it still won’t move go into low minus NOT LOW PLUS. Ok also please tell me I wasn’t the only person screaming at their t.v 😅.

Most relaxing yet frustrating game
100% of players outside my game, never use Fuel tankers dropped off and placed around the maps either 😅 so you never run out of fuel.

Try the low and low- gears, especially when you don’t have enough power to go up a hill. It swaps speed for more power
Not sure low- adds to the power. Regular Low seemingly has more power than low+ while climbing, but I haven't seen low- help there. Slow digging through mud - yes. It doesn't dig as deep in because it spins less. But not climbing. I might be wrong though.
I mean physics would support low- having more power, but not sure the game does in a meaningful way.
What I do is normally when you on manual gears press L1, so you change gear and use high range , but also depends on the trucks. Azov they will climb hills with high gear, but zikz or others sometimes you have to switch to use low, to climb them hills especially if you have heavy cargo.
It gives it more torque. The lower the gear the more torque you get.
How low is low? Low? Or really low?

Not sure if you have it, but the upgraded engine for the 963 helps alot.
Even though I find this game boring to actually play myself I for some reason been enjoying watching you play it a lot lol I hope you keep doing it
I've been playing Snowrunner for a while now. It was an accidental stumble across GameRiot's first Snowrunner series of gameplay that had gotten me hooked on it. Then I found the mods site and started hoarding vehicles and trailers. I haven't even touched the custom map mods yet, still playing the seasons.
The older I have gotten the more I look for laid back, less stressful games to play like Snowrunner. Wish there were more similar games like it. Thought of picking up Mudrunner but the mission variety seems very limited compared to Snowrunner.
I cannot wait till Expeditions releases. With its new mission variety and mechanics that appears in the trailer tease.

You've done as well as I think you can do. Even HEAVILLY mudded trucks run foul of the booby traps ~ let aside glitches. :)
Logs are amongst the most frustrating due to their tendency to tip over. It’s why I use the Amaratsu, its wide wheel base makes up for the lack of power. When logging, slow is fast.
The crane is recommended just incase you dump your trailer by accident you can load it back up
the problem is the kenworth doesnt have enough power thats why youre wheels are not moving a fine tune gearbox or bigger engine would help
I definitely applaud you for the work you put in to these missions. I don’t have the patience these days there fore I utilize the mod browser quite a bit and use trucks that are a bit OP to grind out these like the vm 714 truck with 91 inch tires but for logging like this I use the modded max ank with the dual wheels it’s amazing and fun
Plus on the Ank I use I can equip the low saddle and high one at the same time and never have to switch them up for different trailers which is nice as well
I think there are 2 main reasons why you needed to winch with the Kenworth so much, as I have done that same task with the Kenworth and not had any struggles. 1. You don't have the strongest engine for it yet. 2. You weren't using the low gear option. You always went either straight to the winch or you went to Low +. Low has more power than Low +. So if Low + is still not turning the wheels then take it down to Low.
In both instances where the Kenworth came to an abrupt stop as if you were stuck on something, which only happened twice as all other instances it was lack of power, it was due to the front bumper. The bumper on the Kenworth has steps that hang low and they were colliding with the roots. You can switch the bumper to one that does not have those low hanging steps.

Next time your winching try manually attaching the winch from the back of your truck to a tree. That way you get pulled further!
18:20 High gear is for the highway, not dragging a trailer up a muddy hill. (I know, we have motorways, so it should be the M gear...) 🛣️
Not with his gearbox. H gear is actually a pretty low gear ratio
lock all your differentials lol
Upgrade the engine and put fine tune gear box on the kenwoorth
When you can't find torque to spin the wheels just wiggle the steering left to right and you ll get those stuck wheels moving in low gears
Does anybody else have a problem disconnecting from peoples servers or the game crashing on single player on Xbox. I’ve had this problem. I heard it was being worked on, but that was said a few months ago. I just started playing star runner again if you days ago, I have not played in a few months and other players have told me that they’ve had a problem where they’ve also disconnected every 15 minutes, and it’s just unplayable. Does anybody have any information?
If the next season is lights and cameras, I'm thinking movie production gear/set/etc. to transport

47:22 you can recover in hard mode but its costly and the garage won't repair and refill your gas for free

Loved the video dude. That kenworth? Is that how it performs stock? Stuggling to climb hills and what not? Don't have it yet. Looks like it could be somewhat a pain to use if it's going to struggle

Man that big Kneworth just does not have the kind of power you would expect
I use very few vanilla trucks from in game, mostly using the Euro or Soviet trucks. I mostly use vehicle mods that are not OP'd like a lot are but are not noticeably under powered like most vanilla ones are.
One thing I am always doing is consistently hitting the LB button to force the game to select the correct gear when driving and so it shifts right away. Relying completely on auto shifting mode is horrible, constantly losing momentum or complete stops while changing gear. Someday I will buy a gaming steering wheel, shifter and pedals setup.
The shifter for snow runner doesn’t really work it just shifts faster and doesn’t change anything 🫤
maybe Lights and Camera has to do with partnering with the Ice Road Truckers show and doing a map based on that with lots of ice, or, like, a Hollywood map.
I loved Ice Road Truckers.

Your videos are really great, now I like this game that much that I also started playing this game, this game is really fun.
Logging can be a pain you would think any trailer would work but no each size log has their own trailer also last night I thought I’d be smart and buy several trailer’s fill each one then have them ready Togo but it limited how much I could get at a time from log station. Logging is my least favorite activity on the game for sure I save all log missions for last.
That’s my one big gripe about the game. Not sure if a trailer is for medium or small logs. Large logs is easy…

I'm stuck with snowrunner, it's getting frustrating. All my trucks I can find exploring are crappy non 4x4 highway trucks and get stuck everywhere so I can't do any decent missions and can't afford to buy a decent truck.

Stop going to low+ try low- you have too much wheel spin in low + that's a great truck
I heard of a bug where, when using an xbox controller the throttle on the kenworth gets stuck at 60 percent. Maybe try updating the controller software.

I'll admit I've gotten stuck in this game but I got out with no winch and not using a different truck to pull it out. All I did was back up and got out. And that was with the Western Star 57x. And Scott technically that is the appropriate place for a log station not the easiest place to get to but if you were logging in texas you'd be dealing with red clay and mud. If it ain't going in low + go low -
What a garbage truck lol... Diffs dont hold, lacks power... Even stock azev 64131 would get up that hill at 20:00

I dont get why you try to use a high gear going up a hill? that is what low range is for? i mean.....torque is your friend not speed...
