@vladvulcan well it's nice to have an ace in the hole, or a tool for when you come up against a particularly difficult contract, but personally even when I'm using my most powerful trucks, I don't want to have to drive it across multiple maps every time. I'd rather just pick up my closest truck to the pickup location and go from there So better to have a fleet of reliable trucks than like 2-3 overpowered trucks
Michigan-White Western Star Alaska-CAT 745G Taymyr-Tayga 6436 From the ones we can buy: Azov 64131 Don't use Yar in Kola, with that height it flips very easily.
Compiling a list like this isn't an easy task, so thank you for the work and the time you put in. It's appreciated. A lot of solid advice too. The Step Pike is really a versatile truck that helped me with some missions I had left behind in places like Yukon, Wisconsin, and Don. Two good, small trucks that can be used for scouting tougher regions are the Step 33-64 Crocodile and the Tuz 16 Actaeon. The latter is a bit tippy, but with the Tayga mudtires it's more stable, plus it's the only truck with an autonomous winch. As for running in Tennessee, an additional suggestion is to use the two vehicles you unlock in this region. The Azov Sprinter with the sport gearbox is *fast*, and the Gor-By-4 is very fun to use in certain contests (fast, but a bit difficult to control). Another thing about the Azov Sprinter is that it has a big fuel tank and it's rather fuel efficient, so it can be used for scouting and doing all those 'exploration' tasks and contests in other maps, especially on difficult terrain. Again, great video! Keep up the good work! //Rick
My biggest gripe with the Derry Special and the Ontario region is how the "fires" require 4400L of water to be put out for each building, and while the Derry carries 2200L the water trailer only carries 2000L or something like that. So you're always short some water for each building if using that combo.
Pro tip: You don't actually have to drive though those soft ice spots in Maine's second map. You can pretty easily just skirt along the treeline and bypass the soft ice entirely. Smaller but still capable trucks like the Voron's can actually be a valid pick because of this.
For Wisconsin why didn't you mention the CAT745C? For medium logs it's just as stable as the Forester going over uneven ground. And while thirstier than the Forester, you can reduce it's fuel burn by making the Forester the lead truck and winching the CAT behind you.
Thank you! I'm late for this game but your videos are a great help to know which trucks I unlock that I have to keep and upgrade, or just sell for credits, since I know nothing of trucks myself. 🤣
You nailed it! I just deleted 5500hrs of hardmode/vanilla game play accidentally without a single tear shed... That should say it all... For me it lost its fundamental appeal when it switched to Snowrunner and began to prioritise pretty pictures over mechanical /physics detail. I read about the dirty tricks behind the take-over rights and it shows 😔
Navistar is a nice DLC truck. Powerful and heavy, it does very well with trailers. Only downside is Epic didn't let PC players buy it after the pre-order period ended, but console players CAN get it. I bought mine post pre-order on PS4. It was a great truck especially in Alaska, making towing all those big trailers a breeze. It even holds up in a lot of DLC regions and does better then a fair amount of trucks that have diff-lock, despite lacking diff's itself.
Add the KOLOB's to the list of best trucks for Amur. You'll regret it if you don't use a KOLOB for hauling those 8-slot trailers. I suppose the 605 can be OK for the rocket trailer and such, but KOLOB are better. 605R is better with a flatbed/sideboard to move cargo over hard terrain. But KOLOB's are the king of trailers.
Thanks for a lot of useful information. However, I miss the American trucks, and I always play with region specific trucks depending on the location of the maps. Now, there's a challenge for you...
for original regions sell all dlc truck you have on start and buy voron AE-4380,for me you dont need azov 64131 its to slow.alaska and michigan is easy,in somme missions you need azov but if you sell dlc truck you have money for azov and voron in same time.for me voron is better that tayga, try it and see.
@@vladvulcanthats great to know! My wife bought me a PS5 & im leaving my old xbox 1 at home for my brother. Will have to buy that combo version then for the ps5. Ill have to buy the individual extra dlc though right? Like Navistar, Jeep, etc?
Can you make a video comparing Normal and Hardcore modes? I am at a mid game on Normal but i find game lacking challenge. Got best trucks unlocked, no issues with money etc. Should I reroll or grind on on Normal till the end?
Hello I start the game and I have find a easy method for have 2 of the best trucks First I go in Alaska and I find the Bm17 and I resell it for the azof 64131 and with this truc I unlock the taiga It is very easy to do this and fast
I think it's not right to recommend US trucks in Russia and Russian trucks in US considering the improbability of it IRL (and I think F-750 in Kola is an exception). Also Russian trucks are so much better than US trucks so the challenge on US maps is a lot lower when using Russian trucks.
Most of the Russian trucks on this list (bandit, taygas, azovs, zikz 605 or zikz 612 to name a few) are over rated, and I have reached max level and completed some regions with mainly American trucks only, like the white western star and the pacific P12
For context, my main fleet uses: Jeep wrangler or CK1500, F750, White Western Star, Pacific P12, Derry Special, Kenworth 963, and sometimes Western Star 57x (rarely)
I don’t think that is a russian truck that can pull heavy trailes like the paystar 5070… i prefer it over Russian trucks anytime for any task . Ain’t no rushing anywhere :)
Cyrus: I will not mention Zikz 605R/612H and Kenworth 963 in every region.
Also Cyrus: mentions them in almost every region.
And actually the very first one he mentions 💀🤠
Because this trucks are the best

Guys, also just use whatever you want to. You don't need to be using OP supertrucks 24/7. Have some fun with the game!
In Kola the P12 is very good whit heavy addons. No stock in Snow only doble tires for back.
I think they should add a Northern Australia map

Sad that this video came before S11 release. Burlak 6x6 is the best scout you can get for Kola and Amur.
The royal bm73 has become my go to even tho I have the megladon it's just so reliable after putting off road tires on it
same, great all rounder. quite fast on road, decent with mud, it can do nearly everything decently well

You should do an updated vession of this, along with the best order to play the regions in.
