  • In this video I will declutter my nursery as well as start packing it up for the move. The audio in this video is a bit wonky which I didn't realize until editing, so that is something I will fix for the next video.

She's your friend, not a stranger, so give her anything and everything. Even if you think its unsanitary, she might not. I wouldn't. She could boil it to sanitize it.

You can donate/giveaway that pump. It can be sanitized per the Willow website and your friend can buy new tubing. Don’t throw it away.

Definitely offer your friend the pump! Even on the Willow site it says you can sanitize the flange and tubing - I see no reason she couldn't use yours, unless she needs a different flange size.

If there's anything left that your friend doesn't want, call your local women's shelter. I bet they'd even take the WIllow system from you as well.

Doctor Browns bottles were a life saver for us. My son is 4 months and for his first months of life he had so many problems with his tummy I use to cry every time he would start wailing. After many visits to the pediatrician and emergency room I decided to change his formula and his bottles I literally took all of the bottles that I had gotten on my baby shower and donated them and just bought six Dr. Brown bottles and that’s what we stuck to with a different formula and my son has never been in pain with his tummy again. I live for those bottles there is a reason why they have such great reviews I think every child is different years they are very tedious because they have so many parts but when you look at your baby and he’s willing and you don’t know what is wrong with them and you don’t know how to help them putting together six parts for a bottle is not so bad. I highly recommend these bottles to every mommy who has a colicky baby I think it’s best for you to start with a couple of bottles because they are so T is to put together but definitely definitely would recommend them. And again I’m just saying from my experience because every baby is different and every mommy is different. For me these bottles helped my son and made a huge difference in his life.

Keep the willow for Blair since it would be the exact same one she’d buy for herself. She’s your sister so she most likely wouldn’t care but appreciate the thought. I know my sister would xx

The little cord at 13:10 goes to the mamaroo! We have the same one, it’s to plug your phone in to play music on it!

  • @xxvanillacandycane
    @xxvanillacandycane 5 лет назад +7

If the willow is a closed system, I would just offer it to your friend and she can take it if she likes. You can also buy a new part to help her if you don’t want her spending any money on it.
I am currently 21 weeks pregnant and am super grateful of anything my friends are giving me. My insurance covers a pump, but like your video showed, not all pumps work for everyone. I’d be happy to get a variety so that if the one I choose through insurance doesn’t gel with me, I can try another for essentially free. My friend is giving me her s1 because it’s a closed system and I plan on leaving it at work so I don’t have to bring my pump to and from work everyday.

  • @shellfraya

You can sterilize the pump and all the parts and give it away, please don't trash it! It's only been in contact with breast milk, it's no big deal. Some people are so crazy about things like that and then I like to remind them that thousands of mouths have been on cutlery that you use when you eat out at restaurants lol no one minds because they are washed and cleaned. If you are giving the pump to your friend I'm sure she won't mind that her friend has used it once or twice! xxx

For the willow pump, offer it to a lactation consultant or a birthing center (not a hospital). They may use it as a demo, or sanitize it and give to someone in need.

You can boil the attachment for the willow pump to make it sanitary. If it still makes you feel weird douse it in rubbing alcohol or a bleach solution then boil it.

Definitely pass on the pump to your friend or donate it if she isn’t interested. They can be cleaned and sterilized and even if she has to buy some parts, it’s less expensive than the whole pump!

The harness slot is so you can put them in their little cosy sacks in the car seat or pram. Anything with a harness basically.. so they can still be cosy and snug but safe and secure too.

Ask her if she wants the pump. I would take it. Then again....I was a milk donor. I dont see human milk as unsanitary. If she does not want that pump someone will. Dont throw it away. I donated a lot of milk over the course of the 3 years I nursed my last child. My pump got a lot of use. When I was done with it I gave it to a woman who had got a lot more used from it.

5:20 I’d offer the outer parts of the pump to her and have her make the decision if she wants them or not. It would be weird to offer them as a gift since they are used but I’d offer them to her like other things you are offering her, since the alternative seems to be just throwing it away and landfill.

But they are a pain to clean 😣. Now that he is 9 momths im thinking about getting easier ones at least for the next 3 months.
